Smashed Into Pieces || Collette & Bradin
Bradin’s hazel eyes found the swirling specks of blue against Collette’s light sapphire irises entrancing, and he dug into them almost unwillingly. He was a smart man and knew the ventures that vampires liked to engage in. He knew that they enjoyed their feeding in both the animalistic ways that he had just witnessed not moments prior and with blood from elegant wine glasses in the beautiful mansions of eastern Athoria. He knew that creatures like Collette, who was already hypnotizing in her own unique way in both features as well as obvious social class, enjoyed seducing their prey into stages of delusion and some other word that Bradin had long forgotten.
He wondered if Collette was performing such powers on him, because he could not look away and even if he wanted to Bradin felt the strongest urge to return her touch against his arms with his rough hands streaming through perfect blonde hair.
Of course, to such a woman of high standards Bradin imagined that would be quite rude.
Instead he offered a smile, which could have been mistaken for a cocky smirk against the scruff of his cheeks and the becoming of his cold lips from the chill in the ally.
“You’re very direct, and I assume you are used to getting what you desire,” he said, watching the way the pale skin against her own dominate cheekbones moved when red stained lips grinned back. “If I’m being honest, however, I am a little taken aback. And I’d also be contradicting in my…judgements,”
He moved, keep his hands shoved deep into the pockets of his jacket and holding out his arm for Collette to take, and when she gracefully did the human began out of the ally as he continued.
“Your kind, the vampires, of Athoria are not exactly my favorite, more or less,” he laughed lightly, “yet it seems that they always make an appearance in my life whether I like it or not. Funny how that works, no? One saved my life when I was but a boy and I’ve tried to remain on good terms with him, a handful of others are continuous clients of mine, and another is, well, a drinking friend of mine you might say. I know everything about them, all your tricks and motives. Yet for some reason I hold a distaste. I’m not sure why, and I hope you don’t take it the wrong way. I’m sure there are tons of other species out there that you aren’t exactly favorable towards,”
It felt good to talk a bit and have ears to listen that weren’t passing out against the bar at Thirst or customers that only really cared if Bradin would drop the price of one of his paintings by being overly nice. And as they walked down the dark streets of Night Haven, the vampiress clinging to his arm as if they had done such events a thousand times before, Bradin became strangely more comfortable than he had in a long time.
Although not her typical expectation from her kindred when it came to a mate or company in general, Collette could not find a bother about this man that would steer her away from accompanying him to where ever it was that he was leading her. Even Michael, to this day & whether a direct member of De la Nuit or not, still dressed to match his age & social status. If seen with him then it were deemed as appropriate & normal, for his stature was proud as he was tall & Michael always tended to have a way about him that made Collette feel safe, & protected. A companion in both friendship & intimacy was supposed to be like that...then again, a companion to Collette was something she'd never agree to again.
Not ever. Not after Michael.
Bradin's steps were heavy & dignified, & they matched the pace of his words & how even though he was strolling besides a creature that could easily rip his throat out without hesitation he spoke honestly. It was an attractive quality to have & one that Collette noted. She had been told about the distastes of her specie before by one named Stephen Freeman more times than she were able to count, & others of a particular animalistic specie that Collette, upon remembering, had to push back into her elder mind as far as she could. Thinking of how the vampires were disliked as much by so many, bother human & supernatural, brought a rivalry instinct to dwell inside a stubborn mind.
"I'm not upset," Collette stated firmly yet kept her voice at a social level. "But I doubt you know as much as you claim, Mr. Carter,"
Her fingers laced against his forearm, long legs able to easily keep step to Bradin's pace through the center of Night Haven.
"We are naturally inclined to be rivals against most other species, yes, but there are exceptions. There are always exceptions. Some species wouldn't stand a chance against someone like me, depending on age & perhaps a certain skill level. Angels, for one. Or witches," she sighed. "There will always be war, Bradin. Humans against humans, vampires against vampires...it's all the same, don't you see? The stronger specie wins, the weaker specie submits. & to live in peace & harmony between supernaturals is just a silly dream that most leaders have. One day, Athoria will destroy itself. There are too many opinons, too many kings or queens, too many places to hide & far too much hatred.
I'm not a saint. I won't pretend to have a natural distaste for particular species & I won't pretend that I haven't killed just to kill due to my own entertainment. But we all must do what we need to survive. Only some of us are cut out to be immortal. Only some of us are strong enough to lead their kin into war,"
Collette's last words lingered, slicing at the air around the couple & haunted even her own ears. She glanced up at Bradin, expecting to see a clenched jaw & darting eyes. She expected to sense fear overcome his body & radiate from him like so many other humans of Athoria would do when placed in a situation like the one he stood strongly in. But there was none of that, nothing to grab onto when it came to his feelings except that the grin on his face remained slightly hidden from his growing beard shifted as his own eyes did to hers. & when they were latched once again Collette cleared her throat, as if taken aback from his cool behavior.
She looked away & added a noticeable pep to her voice, "We should talk about something else; I'm not a fan of reminiscing. Where are we going, Mr. Carter? You plan on taking me home for the remainder of the evening?"
Collette & Elki || My Beautiful Rescue
Elki decided then that he was lucky. Blessed, perhaps by the mother of nature herself, with the prosperous life that he acquired, how Gaia held him in her favor. Albeit certain predicaments have proved to be adverse in the past, the present and future seemed very fruitful so long Collette remained affiliated within his life. Without her, his heart would beat for nothing, if not just for himself.
Their time spent together was invariably hindered, yet the pair made sure to make the most of it. Not a second was wasted nor regretted, and as the nights had passed they assimilated into nothing but swelling memories. Any repercussions of their actions upon his behalf were worth it, whether draconian or lenitive, but tonight Elki could not quite place this newfound discernment. It was as if he was afraid to awaken something within him or her this evening that would, in the end, overthrow the augmenting relationship that had been kept between them. Collette’s voice, admirable and delighted in her tone broke him from his momentary reverie, and he forced himself to push all pessimistic thoughts to the back of his mind. But even still it felt as if a sleeping beast lay only drowsing upon him, constricting him so tightly to the ground that it was made difficult to breathe.
Collette’s display of childlike nature as shown before never ceased his amusement, always capturing any traces of mirth amid himself introspectively with porcelain fingers and tugging his lips into an unmistakable smile - even with the cynical indulgent circumstances that plagued him. Others who may have disagreed with the rapturous and presumably ingenuous perspective of life she had grappled, held obscurities wrapped tightly around themselves as a blanket of protection, harboring them from the dangers and vulnerabilities innocence could compass. Elki knew she was not as innocent as she gave off during playful times as such. He knew that, like himself, she had been exposed to such enormities and enclosed no righteous traits unlike she might have before becoming a vampire. Her mortal life had been obscured from him of course, but he imagined his assumptions to be true. But he liked to believe that he could just as easily protect her from any impending danger just as easily as he could hold her in his arms, though future endeavors may have obstacles standing guarded in their way.
At her sarcastic tone, Elki could not help but smirk. “Next time I’ll be sure to stay behind then. You nearly did kill me, after all.” The Garou joked, maneuvering himself as so the duo could lay comfortably upon the terrain in an entanglement of limbs, and clothing.
“What are you thanking me for?” He asked then, vocalization fairing no higher than that of a soft whisper, fingers gently combing through the golden locks of her hair as she lay beside him. Though he desired warmth, Collette’s frigid skin was just as well off. It contrasted against his own skin near perfectly, materializing feverish temperatures to course between the unorthodox pair. Elki pressed a delicate kiss to her temple, chestnut irises “And you need to stop being so beautiful, it distracts me. But there’s just somethings things we have to deal with.” A short chuckle vibrated within his chest and a grin found his lips. “Oh, I..have something for you.” He momentarily hesitated, fierce claws of trepidation grasping his heart strings, tugging them in multiple, and unfathomable directions. Up until this moment, the young Garou had the confidence of a million men in his gift, yet now he couldn’t be too sure.
Refraining from sitting up and keeping in their position upon the ground, Elki dug his hand into the pocket of his deerskin trousers with limited fidgeting. “I’ve been working on it for sometime now, but it’s alright if you don’t like it.” He said sheepishly as he brought his hand up, forearm resting against his torso, and from his fingers a handcrafted bracelet dangled.
Collette had been given many things in her life thus far; houses, horses, the finest wines, innocent blood to feast upon, & jewels from her late husband that would have made any Queen in all of Europe snicker with jealousy. She was ravished with intricate laces & fabrics & had only the best musicians play for her at command. A mortal life, even before being turned into a vampire by William, was one to be missed. Collette had only simply pointed to something she desired or sported a pouted bottom lip to him & whatever she dreamed of would be hers. Materialistic with no sentimental value was the brunt of her objects. But in a way, it was all she had; for Collette’s parents had long been deceased after her marriage with William & it was too heartbreaking to graze fingers against anything they had left behind. No memories to remember them by, & Collette filled a small void within her with the unimportant treasures she was able to to afford.
But this, this was something different. A common ground when it came to Elki.
Her eyes wandered around the dark leather band & her fingertips grazed the hand-carved bow & arrow.”You made this for me?” eyes averted back to Elki’s, & the auburn gaze that stared back up at her was enough to break her heart. His eyes were so big, full of life that he had been so graciously willing to share with her & encompassed with a tenderness that seemed impossible for anyone to acquire. Brown hair fell on the ground around his head, feathering around his features in more flawless ways than Collette could count. He was so handsome, so incredibly handsome that the ravish part of Collette’s inner vampire & urges of impeccably young lust had to be tucked far away before she saw him. Especially when he was looking at her like that.
“It’s amazing, thank you,” Collette’s smile grew to a ridiculous size, & with delicate fingers plucked the bracelt from Elkis own & wrapped the band around her wrist. “No one has ever made anything for me. I mean, people used to make things for me all the time but…”
Collette spun the garment around her pale skin, the leather band tickled against her flesh. A somewhat solemn & distant look errupted in light blue eyes as she watched the band. With her hands against Elki’s chest she felt his heart once more, & when she focused enough she could hear the way it pumped the wolven blood inside his body through his veins, blood that was more than essential for him to live. Even still, the temptation to have just the tiniest bit of a taste was not driven by any type of hunger or need for domination. Collette found herself curious, she imagined it would be erotic. Perhaps he would even like it…
“This means more to mean than you could ever imagine,” Collette bit at her lip for just a second, eyes flickering to Elki’s again & regaining that prominant glow that sometimes he constantly reminded her that she held. She smiled & pushed herself up once more, & instead of placing plush lips against the skin on his forehead she planted them swiftly against his own. Letting them linger together for perhaps a few seconds longer than Collette would allow herself to before, that familiar spark that invited itself to engulf her senses regarded them uselessly & against her own will. She pulled back only slightly.
Collette’s lips hovered gently over his, the want to envelope the boy in a complete trance like state that they had shared weeks ago in the lake upon first meeting was desirable. To press against him in more than a friendly way, to scratch along tanned skin until it bled, to whisper each others desires to one another with a promise to fulfill them, to sink one inch incisors deep into the hallow of his neck, suck at the wounds until he collapsed to the ground in defeat…
She felt a subtle & simple change in her body, it tingled just barely & her fangs seemed to desperately want to extract on their own doing. Her nails pressed against Elki’s shoulder, & she closed eyelids to engulf her into a familiar darkness & perhaps calm the urge to not only rip Elki’s flesh from his neck, but to not give into the incredible amount of young vampyric lust she was currently experimenting from him being so ungodly close to her.
Collette & Elki || My Beautiful Rescue
Amahan Iduth was suspended high within the horizon, molded perfectly in a crescent formation and radiating rays of illuminating light upon those beneath her. The stars were plentiful, contorted in various patterns (if one could truly call it that) with a faint glow and neighboring the moon that many creatures, especially night-walkers, called their ‘mother’. Elki preferred daylight himself, yet the twilight never failed to captivate him with it’s beauty, it’s peacefulness. Where in the light the Sheep and animals lurked, became rambunctious as the hours passed, the dusk staid calm and provided a serenity that any would admire. And, if it was anything to add, he had discovered he couldn’t imagine seeing Collette in anything other than the late evening. Seeing her in the morrow did not place right, and the moon’s lambency seemed to shine just for her and her alone.
Their meetings have commenced over the few weeks, and had all gone and ended swimmingly and did not prove to be an arduous task. Obscuring his whereabouts with his pack was, at first, difficult - but he had not failed in making an excuse to see the vampire that was believable. At first his mother had been skeptical when he had subtly told her he wished to hunt in solitude, or take a walk to clear his mind; of course this was expected. A mother was supposed to worry when it came to her children, and Elki did not expect anything different. But tonight, he was blowing off an extremely essential orientation for a new pack member that had been blessed into the group to see Collette, by sneaking away entirely. For the son of the Alpha to not show up was unheard of and he knew he’d get an earful from his father later on. But to see the woman he had grown to care for, the woman that made his heart pulse in mirth…it was entirely worth the consequence he would deal with later.
Maybe a week ago he wouldn’t have the same opinion. He would have told Collette that they would meet at another time and attend the blessing as he should. But lately, Elki had an entirely new perspective on things.
Crouched deep within the brush, the young Garou studied the woman in question from the distance as she stood, the bow and arrow that had been passed to him from his father held tightly within her hands. It took a great deal of convincing for him to finally allow her to work with it, all things considered, and Elki was a bit nervous. He trusted her enough that she would not damage it, or use it against him, but getting rid of the scent was something he had not quite yet thought of. He followed her movements as quietly as he was able to, bright amber irises of his wolf in a quarter transformation sharp and keen, enabling him to take in the surroundings about the pair of them without losing his focus upon her. Her stature radiated a confidence that made him grin, and she seemed to know what she was doing under his instruction.
Elki had sent her to gather a feast for the pair of them; something she could drink from and something he could eat. He held enough complacence in her to believe she would get the task done without any issues; Vampires held enhanced senses just as werewolves had, and he had confidence that she could shoot an arrow with a bewildering accuracy. And he looked forward to seeing her in action. If she looked attractive just standing there with a bow in her hand, he didn’t doubt she would appear twice as appealing shooting for, or chasing after another mammal. That was only partially the reason why he had decided to follow her so deep within the depths of the topiary.
Sitting back against the base of a tree trunk some length away from Collette, Elki folded his arms along his bare torso and grinned in amusement. Wolven ears easily picked up the intonations of the wildlife around them, the miniscule thump of their hearts in the distance. He could quite easily see she was concentrating. It was only when she raised his bow had his smirk fell, as the arrowhead was directly pointed in his direction. He remained as he was however, having full confidence in himself that he would be able to stop the arrow before it had even hit him and if not, that he would fling himself out of the way in time to avoid being killed. What did she think she was doing? Had she known he was here, or had she mistaken him for an animal? Elki wouldn’t have been surprised, yet his scent would have surely let her know he was hanging about.
In less than a fraction of a second the arrow was released, breaking through the warmth of the air and piercing itself directly into the tree trunk - just narrowly missing his face. For a second Elki froze, eyes wide, before he turned to stare at the opposing object that could have very well ended his life. He could hear her giggling however, and instantly realized this is what she had been doing all along. He gripped the body of the arrow and yanked it from it’s position, hauling himself to his feet. A crooked smirk grew upon his handsome features as he lurked within the bushes as silently as he could, easily camouflaged by the pigmentation of his clothing and olive skin, giving no indication of where he was. Elki released a playful growl, one inhumane yet light with his good intentions, and before he knew it he had launched himself at the unsuspecting vampire, constricting his arms around her waist and bringing them both to the ground, only twisting so he would break the fall.
Grinning up at her, he said, “I don’t think I’m the one you should be hunting, m’lady.”
Strings of blonde ringlets fell against the bare chest of the boy below her. The grass tickled the sides of Elki’s dark hair, his auburn eyes shone brightly up at her own. The smile that elicited from still pale lips was unavoidable, & the laugh that followed their fall continued on even as the two laid against mother earths surface. She couldn’t help it; Elki brought out the most playful side of her she had ever imagined having. Even as a child & being sworn into a the higher society the girl was barely able to dance or skip around, let alone lay carelessly in the grass unless she had a desperate wish of being scolded. With Elki, she had no fear of a mother or father punishing her for running around in the forest, no elder to shun her away from experimenting life with another species, & especially no husband to simply show her off like a prize.
With Elki, everything was different.
Collette had taken her hunts & previous attempts at learning about the one he called Gaia quite seriously, but never left his company for the morning without having a race around the Lakes or performing a fun prank. & so, with this wolf, this man, sprawled underneath of her, toned flesh pressed against her own, Collette could only smile.
“Perhaps if you were not tracking me the entire time I would have been able to find us something decent, sir,” she expressed sarcastically, hair tickling his shoulders as she propped herself against Elki’s chest. Collette could feel his heart vibrating through her skin, the thump was steady & held a particular rhythm to it that she enjoyed greatly. It was a constant expression of the life he held deep within him, of the amazing & otherwise fragile soul that streamed through his veins like a river. Perhaps at one time Collette would have been jealous of not being able to elicit a heartbeat to remind her own self of the life she was still capable of living, yet laying in the grass in the middle of the forest with Elki was proof enough that Collette was experimenting something wonderful, & unforgettable.
Casually the vampire played with the ends of Elki’s hair, twirling them around her slender fingers & watching as they unravelled themselves to fall back into place. She wondered how the pair had truly managed weeks together in solitude, with both races keen on knowing where the two young supernaturals were & what they were up to at all times, it was a wonder why they had not been caught. Collette had become increasingly good at producing white lies to her elders as to not emit the smell of her actual lie to them, & if they were prodding around too much about her disappearances, which had to occur at least once maybe twice a week, the girl would throw a fit & close off her mind to curious friends. The rolling of eyes & waving of hands in a ‘shooing’ motion were slowly becoming a commonplace amongst her home with her elders. It should have concerned a young future queen; instead it drove her fuel to do as she wished whenever she pleased, & Collette did just that.
Besides, at that point & time, with the intense growth in relationship between the wolf & the vampire & the increase of certain tensions between them, Collette wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
Collette pressed her lips against Elki’s forehead, inhaling his scent as she did so & sighing. “Thank you,” she said to him & then shifted herself to lay her head in the crook of his neck. His skin was soft & she could only breathe him in once more. “You need to stop smelling so good,”
Collette & Elki || My Beautiful Rescue
Collette stood peacefully in the center of Hallowed Oak, boots planted loosly against the soft soil, arms hanging by her sides, sapphire irises closed against the pitch black night. Her honey blonde strands rested in waves against her shoulders, a thin brown leather band circled the circumference of her head, locking the mane in place. A worn bow was gripped in slender fingers of her right hand & a handmade intricate arrow was in the other. A gentle breeze swayed the tips of her loose hair against her cheeks, wrapping them around the upper half of her frame in steady motions.
Her senses were alert. Instead of strained ears Collette allowed them to simply remain open & natural, taking in the faint whisper of padded footsteps of nearby squirrels or the fluttering of the wings of insects looming about. The intake of breathe through her nostrils was also relaxed, yet keen in determining the scents of that around her; an owl above her searching the night for dinner & Elki who hid somewhere in the brush surrounding her.
A small & coy smile emerged from her plush lips at the smell of his distinct fragrance. She had been back to Trinity Lakes, traveling still from Monir City, a handful of nights over the weeks to see the boy as promised. Elki had begun their training in a professional manner, teaching her the basic things he had come to learn about life in the forest at first. & although his preaching about different plant life & animal tracks were entertaining, Collette wished to experiment with the interesting bow he had presented to her upon their first meeting. Hunting was something Collette never had to face in her life in England & thus far in Athoria. She knew that with the senses of her specie her hunts could be executed with her bare hands & sharp insisors, with swift feet & aggressive strength, yet she yearned for the power that emitted from such a weapon he posessed.
Tonight, Elki had allowed Collette to use his bow, a masterful item in which she could tell held grave sentimental value to him. It felt odd at first, carrying a weapon that was used by a specie that had been so engraved in her mind as devilish. Yet Collette adjusted to it fairly well, the wood of the bow seemed to mesh with her perfectly, & when she had pulled back the string with the arrow latched securly in it for the first time, she had imploded her target dead on. A natural bowman, & Collette was proud.
Elki had sent her off to bring him back an animal for the night, a feast in which they both could enjoy. However, with enhanced senses Collette could smell him nearby, perhaps watching her for critique or amusement. It made her giddy, & small butterflies wrapped themselves around her stomach in a sincere way as she remembered the handful of interlocking lips they sometimes shared still since their more heated moment in the lake.
In a swift motion Collette raised the elder bow of his, placing the arrow diligently within its string & pivoted on her feet, aiming the arrow at a batch of trees behind her. The arrow released from its hold, flashing through the air with delicate speed & struck the trunk of a large tree, the stone of the arrowhead lodging itself deep within its smooth bark.
“I know you’re there!” she yelled playfully to him, knowing that the arrow rested close to Elki’s hidden form. Collette’s small laugh drifted through the thin air of the Hallowed Oak, echoing off of the branches & fading into the sky.
Bitch I'm fabulous.
Collette & Charles || Paying The Devil To Dance
With every word, Charles’ evil grin grew wider and more horrifying. Anything that he wanted. Closing his eyes he began to imagine the wide scope of possibilities, everything from skinning the pelt from this four legged weakling to yanking each sharp tooth from the gum, one by one. He shook in excitement, feeling his hair raise as the chills coursed under his skin. It had been quite a long time since he had been given full control in a job and he intended to make full use of this once in a life time opportunity. This would be an experience that neither Charles nor Rebecca would ever hope to forget. Nodding his head with far too much pleasure, he walked to the far wall of the dungeon and lifted a heavy sickle in his grip. He ran his finger down the sharp curve in a seductive manner, keeping his eyes trained on Collette as the sharp point dug into his finger.
“Mmm, I love it when you talk business.” A line of bright blood dripped over his rough hand and down his wrist as he slowly stepped forward, “The way you cling to the illusion of control.” Stopping only several feet from his employer he lifted his finger to his lips, tasting the strangely familiar sensation of his own blood on his tongue. “It’s adorable.”
With a flash in his red eyes, Charles turned and drove the sickle through the dead mans waist and out the other side. His hip tore away from the upper half of his body, hanging slack on one end while farther up the cut tendons and muscles fought to support the dead weight. Pinkish intestines slipped out of the open cavity with a sickening squish and hit the stone cold floor to splatter gore at the murderer’s feet. Charles stood back up straight and flicked the weapon, shaking the blood from its edge and onto the exquisite dress and cheek of Collette.
“It’s a shame you had to kill him, this would have been fun to listen to. Oh well, I suppose I can take my frustration out on your friend Rebecca. I always did have a thing for torturing animals.”
He joked along with Collette but Charles was no fool, a werewolf was not a creature to take lightly. Especially one involved with Vargulf. Dominant pack animals were in tuned with their violent primal side, much as Charles was with his own. This would prove to be a unique experience for him, being brought to challenge a woman who was fully capable of protecting herself. Nothing like the sweet innocence he had grown so fond of. But if there was anything Charles liked more than destroying the pure essence of a young lady it was a woman who could hold her own in a fight. It was what had drawn him to Collette initially what with her fiery attitude and brute strength. But Collette was easily conquered with seduction and his ability to pass right through her if he so desired. It would be interesting to see what surprises this Rebecca Anske would bring his way.
Collette’s assertion when it came to the ways of her inner creature were always rectified in a place like her dungeons. Vampires were supposed to be vile underneath of all the glamour & royalty; Collette made sure of that. In order to run De la Nuit in the most effective way the outer appearances of the clan must seem lush & posh, full of vampires that valued the richer things in their immortal life without worrying about the casualties outside her manor walls. Yet underneath of it all, Collette’s spies & warriors such as Tate & Jean lingered in the background, waiting to strick up her army against anything that came between Collette & her desires. Her dungeons were proof of that; proof of the insanity that could muster out of Collette’s brilliant mind when dealing with culprits of any sort or any race. & with her prisoners guts spewing from the clean cut that Charles endured, Collette breathed in the stench of death as if it were an old friend.
In a way, it surely was.
She hoped Charles understood the risks with this werewolf. Rebecca was rumored to not be a pushover, regardless of her size, & if Elki trusted her with his life then of course she were probably nothing less than the greatest warrior he owned. It bothered her, more than anyone besides an old friend in the countryside could understand, to know that Elki had followers that would die for him. She always wished he had turned out different.
“Glad you think I’m so adorable,” she snickered, poking at the dotted red prints that Charles had slain onto her fancy dress. She smudged them against the fabric, leaving trails of crimson in patterns against her form. “It’s a deal then, my love. Let me know when you finish doing whatever it is you decide to do to her. Oh, & just one more thing,”
Collette stepped towards her now present employee, taking one of his large hands into her own cold. Coated in blood, Collette traced her sharp nail against her skin, over his long fingers & staining her own flesh a matching shade of delicious red. She brushed her lips over his bloodied palm, dotting it with seductive & light kisses that made her inside leap with arousal.
“You’re so tempting, did you know that? Everything about you…”
With lips that were red once more like her earlier feeding, Collette hovered over the phantoms wrist, breathing in his scent & the blood that flowed through his supernatural veins. Charles was a creature of pure instinct, something to be valued for & taken advantage of. He would be her escape when necessary, she decided, & Collette wouldn’t mind letting him take his own adventure out on her. Besides, two beautiful beings such as themselves ought to be naughty together. It would be such a waste otherwise.
“The smell of your skin alone…” her thoughts were alost incoherent against her own skull, & with dashing blue eyes that radiated a dangerous emotion of lust she met his own. “Just come back soon, okay? Or I might start your payment without you,”
I wanna sink my teeth into skin I can see through

Smashed Into Pieces || Collette & Bradin
Sometimes there were moments in life that seemed unreal. As if the situation taking place right before your eyes was simply a fucked up dream, a spell casted from a powerful witch to make vivid nightmares come true, or an array of hallucinations due to repressed feelings and mishandled problems from the past. Bradin could control most things in his life, whether that be a painting gone wrong or not charging a customer for a canceled appointment. He could deal with a few drunks giving Iris a hard time in Thirst without going out on a bloody rampage afterwards, and he could even take care of his own needs when it came to remembering his dead family and the pain that followed after every memorie swam through his mind on his loneliest nights in the shop.
He could not, however, figure out if this absolutely stunning and breathtaking woman was actually sucking the blood dry from Greogry so delicately that Bradin was almost hypnotized. She could have been, for all he knew at that moment, a product of his imagination, to have popped out of no where and taken an interest in watching Bradin potentially breaking down to commit murder with his own hands.
But even as Bradin stood there watching, bloodied hands in his pockets as he witnessed the life drain from Gregory’s face, and how she was so clean with her vampirism that the entire act seemed like a dance of art. He imagined painting such a feeling, with deeps blues and grey, with charcoal blacks and electric whites swirling together in an abyss of circles too chaotic to muster.
Maybe he should have been nauseous at the sight of a dead human being drained to a ghostly pale white just feet from where he stood. Maybe he should have felt guilt or remorse for condoning Greogry to such a unnatural death, especially by the specie in Athoria that he just so happen to dislike the most.
Collette. It was smooth and vivacious, entrancing and entitled and Bradin could not help but watch as her tongue darted against the long fangs that protruded from her gums. Regardless of her pale features, her skin was that of perfection, and with Gregory officially out of the way and with the distraction of almost killing him himself taken care of, the mortal man took gracious seconds to look this specie over.
“I’m not quite sure if witnessing someone being murdererd was on my to do list for tonight, Collette, but you are right in a strange way. Perhaps it was something I needed…I’m not sure. There was a good chance I would have killed him myself,”
Hazel eyes scanned her body noticeably without an intention to hide his gaze. Why would he? If Collette were to kill him then she might as well get it over with, and at least know how nice she looked beforehand. It was dangerous and stupid, Bradin knew this, but vampires were products of luxury, for the most part. A nice compliment and a lustful grin would go a long way, especially to someone of such high standards as the tight and fine dress she wore displayed. It was cut low, dipping down at the crease of her breast to hide an asset that Bradin was sure that, no matter the specie, could drive him wild.
It was all silly things to think of, though, especially at a time like that.
“My name is Bradin, and considering you just completed my apparent plans for the night, a nice pint of brandy and a handful of cigarettes will prove to be the rest of my evening,”
He wanted to smile, to laugh out loud at the ridiculousness that this night had been presented. He wanted to double over and shake his head over and over again, to get the image of Gregory’s last gleam of hope in his eyes out of his head and fall asleep, forget about the dead body laying next to them and wake up to a clean slate.
“We should do something with him, Collette. Night Haven is friendly to supernaturals as long as they don’t leave a mess,”
Her skin tingled, as if mountains of utter desire & weeks without having any sort of man, whether immortal or not, was about to start clouding delicate visions towards the ultimate goal that Collette had planned for the evening. She was supposed to see Emery then head back home to her haven, to her mansion in Monir without worrying her guards or missing too much action from her councils. Just outside of the village, waiting for her return from the Frost residence, was her intricate carriage & some of her members, eager to take their queen back home to De la Nuit & away from the side of the country she more or less least traveled to nowadays. Even after Michael had departed from the clan to start his business with Thirst in the village, Collette had gave him his space. Also, considering he had found another vampire whore to call his companion, Collette preferred the wealthier part of the country anyway.
Needless to say, Night Haven wasn’t somewhere she visited too often. Yet with the flicker of interest resting inside of his eyes, Collette imagined that this man was a resident as well, & that he probably hadn’t seen action like that in some time.
Even if she were wrong, Collette was hypnotized by the dark green orbs that scanned her body regardless. It was brave of him to act in such a manner around a creature like her, even if he didn’t know of her true strength & age, & the potential threat that she held over his life was that much more of a turn on for a lustful queen.
“I have others to take care of the mess. I wouldn’t get my hands dirty off of scum like him if my life depended on it,” she said to him & gave a loud sigh as her fangs retracted back into her gums. “I think you wish for company tonight, no? I see the lack of fear in your eyes…are you not scared of me?”
She moved to face him in a flash, standing so close to his chest that they barely grazed each others touch. Close up he smelled of the brandy in which he spoke of, the warmth of it circulating his mortal veins like a river & entrancing Collette’s bloodthirsty demeanor into a frenzy. A sharp fingernail traced against his demanding jawline, pricking at the scruff against his cheeks & finally outlining a set of lips that were erotically fascinating. She liked how he was a little older than most men she physically enjoyed in Athoria, for the young immortal ones were still strong & aged. But no, this man…he was alluring & struggled, with a burdon so heavy that Collette could feel it leaning heavy upon sturdy shoulders. He was damaged & the emotions that radiated from his human soul reflected that of both curiosity & sin.
But still, fear was no where to be found.
“You haven’t given me an answer yet, Bradin. I could find out, you know, easily in fact. But I’m sure you don’t want me to take a trip through your mind so early in our relationship, do you?” she smiled, “So what do you say we spend some time together tonight?”
Collette ran her hands up his arms, feeling his cold skin through his attire due to the colder season in Athoria & found herself biting at her lip once again, a part of her embarrassed from the handful of questions she had asked this man in a matter of minutes. Still, it felt oddly comfortable, & Collette decided to hold on to that for the time being.
Smashed Into Pieces || Collette & Bradin
“You’re a vampire,”
The statement was dumbly exhaled from cautious lips and Bradin breathed in extremely deep. He wasn’t sure if he felt exacerbated by the site of such a beauitful woman in the form of his most hated specie or if he was relieved to be freed from the disastrous decision of killing Gregory himself. Blood dripped from the sharp fangs of this mysterious woman as her grin tickled at a sensitive spot inside of his chest. Those eyes…they were mesmerizing and the brightest blue that Bradin had ever seen. They were hypnotic, even amiss a blood thirsty state of mind while holding Gregory hostage against the wall.
“What does it matter what I want? In the end you will do as you wish; all of your kind are the same like that. Mostly arrogant and self-righteous, from what I’ve gathered. You aren’t my first run in with a pair of fangs, m’lady. So why don’t you just do whatever it is that you do best,”
Bradin’s voice remained decently steady and lacked the normal sarcasm that laced his own words most of the times, his natural defense mechanism. Vampires were a specie that the mortal had unfortunately had more than enough contact with, probably more than any average Athorian…he was lucky to still be alive, after all, and he knew that all too well. It agitated him to no end knowing that there would always be a more dominate creature than himself. But such was life, he concluded. This woman was no different than Michael or Emery, or Calvin or Clove when it came down to it. Bradin was surprised there wasn’t a war between those of similar species, particularly the vampires. With their self-proclaimed grace and higher standards, shouldn’t they all want to be in charge at some point?
It was an interesting thought and Bradin decided to ponder on it later. Gregory’s eyes silently begged Bradin for his protection and safety, yet Bradin was having a hard time at giving a fuck all of a sudden.
He shrugged and crossed his arms across his chest, his own hazel eyes latching onto those brilliant orbs of the woman. “Gregory is a nuisance and an asshole, but I wouldn’t want to wish death upon anyone. At least I don’t think,” he paused for a moment, recalling the horrid feelings of absolute destruction that he had wanted to bestow upon Gregory just moments before. They still bubbled somewhere underneath of his skin, taunting him to release some sort of unmorality.
Bradin’s lips curled into a cocky grin. “Come on then, entertain a mortal,”
A smile grew pompously against Collette’s lips as she first kept her gaze on the mortal some steps away then graciously moved them to meet the eyes of her current prisoner being forced up against the wall, feet dangling below him & small whimpers escaping his throat. His face was distorted from the beatings that had been bestowed upon him by this man & the blood that seeped through the open wounds was luscious. The fragrance of ale was enough for Collette to comply to the wishes of her entertainer.
“My pleasure,”
The palm of her hand uppercutted the mans chin to send his head slamming backwards into the brick & she held it there tightly. The pulsing vein on the side of his neck exposed itself to the blood thirsty queen, a naturally diligent & decently proper woman of the night with only moments like these to be given as an exception. She wasn’t sure if her actions were to purposely impress this mortal requesting her to kill the drunken man or if her need for a ravenous expedition of her character to be deflated, but regardless Collette was not complaining about appeasing to her animalistic side.
Her pupils grew to a monstrous size against icy blue orbs. She could physically feel his sporadic heartbeat beat rhythmically into her own as heightened senses engulfed his fear. It was lovely, deliciously satisfying to enduce such disturbance against a specie weaker than herself.
Sharp, pointed & deadly incisors pierced the skin above the vein in his neck, sinking deep into a designated spot against his artery. The blood flow was easy to control with Collette’s many experiences over the past thousand years & she drank so profoundly & exotically that not a single spill was divulged from his double incision. It tasted riveting; she could never deny the fulfillment of the freshest batch of human blood & for it to be laced with that of his alcoholic beverages consumed that night Collette was in a make-believe heaven.
She moaned, pressing against the man as she drained him easily & quickly, soaking up the moment, as it was rare, until the heartbeat that was once heard pounding through her ears faded slowly to a dull rasp. & with the disappearance of his breath against the cool night, Collette pulled from wounds on his neck with a deep, satisfying sigh.
The man fell to the ground like a limp animal, collapsing onto his side with eyes still open. Collette casually licked the blood from her long fangs as the gaze between her & the handsome man ignited once more. He was standing firm, stiff even but with an expressionless face that Collette found inviting. Curiousty in both her own mortal & vampyric life had always been a weakness of hers, & tonight was no different.
She smiled & brushed still perfect blonde curls out of her face. With being completely full & with her hunger urge taking a small hiatus for the time being, the sudden desire to throw this man up against a wall in a heated & controlled burst of dangerous lust was churning within her instinct. Besides, a man that attractive had to have so much to offer in that department, mortal or not. Collette bit at her lip with pointed teeth.
“Tell me that didn’t turn you on,” she semi-laughed, head shaking slightly & mystical eyes still locked with his own deep hazel. “You seem decently unaffected. Perhaps this sort of thing is just the escape you were hoping to accomplish,” she stepped over the body of the dead man as if he were a simple throw rug, & took long strides towards her stranger. “I’m Collette, by the way. & it looks like you are just as bored as I am. What else did you plan on getting into tonight?”
Smashed Into Pieces || Collette & Bradin
It was exactly one minute that Bradin stood there blinking at the most beauitful woman he had ever seen in his life. One minute and Bradin’s chest heaved up and down slowly and noticeably as he stood with bloodied fists of his own dripping down the handle of the knife in his hands. One minute and Gregory’s moans beneath him on the dirt were nothing more than an echo against Bradin’s ears, something that seemed far away and unimportant. One minute and Bradin’s hazel eyes latched onto the clearest blue, bright crystals that, against a dark night, glimmered mysteriously and exotically.
His immediate reaction of surprisal was disintegrated after that long minute of contemplation. Although every part of him wished to know why such a breathtaking woman of obvious higher social status was lingering unguarded in a back ally of Night Haven, Bradin assumed that it could wait.
Breaking his contact from the entrancement of the woman, Bradin gazed back down at Gregory. He was a bloody pulp, with a face that was split open in every direction and liquid that seeped from every orifice. It was a wonder that Bradin could extract such damage to another person but that feeling of hatred that rested angriliy inside of his stomach was not planning on making an exit anytime soon. It begged the mortal to finish the job, to entertain this woman as she requested.
Yet Bradin could only stand, with fists shaking slightly as the moral decision to leave Gregory alone to bleed in the ally and simply walk away, or to put his fate in his own hands and slit his throat without regret.
The knife dropped from Bradin’s hand. “I can’t,” and he stepped away, the strange feeling of cowardliness resting now upon his stern shoulders. Would he ever be more than a simple human being in Athoria? Or would he forever be just a painter, a good man who drank a little too much at times…the man who lost everything, including who he was, in the fire four years ago. Would he ever seek revenge?
“Go, Gregory. Next time I won’t stop,”
She was not surprised nor disappointed, in fact the queen of vampires crossed her arms across her front & offered an intriguing glance at the mortal before her. Her eyebrows raised, as if to say, ‘are you sure?’, & once the one named Gregory fumbled his way up from the ground & staggered away from the pair, Collette rolled her eyes playfully.
“Well that was no fun. You know he will probably come after you again. Perhaps you should let me finish him off, hm? I wouldn’t want to see anything happen to your handsome face…”
The smirk remained fixated on red lips as Collette, in the literal blink of an eye, had grabbed an already damaged Gregory by the front of his jacket & slammed him hard against an opposing brick wall halfway down the ally. She lifted him easily by his collar, his feet dangled just above the ground, & Collette blinked a pair of icy blue eyes up at the man as if she were observing a genuine piece of artwork or something fascinating in general.
“You smell delicious,” fangs retracted from her upper gums as Collette’s mouth opened to reveal the monstrous incisors, the fresh smell of the alcohol lingering deep within the open wounds of Gregory as his legs flailed in every direction beneath him, perhaps in an attempt to kick the vampire holding him hostage, but to no avail.
“Just let me go! I just want to go home!” he panicked, the mortals eyes stinging with the tears of shock & disbelief as Collette’s grasp against his attire tightened.
It had been a long time, too long maybe, that Collette’s own inner creatures were allowed to roam free. She was old enough to tame every single urge, to sustain from giving into petty desires of her hunger or lust, or particularly her anger. Hunting was not something she participated in any longer, especially not after her several day expedition with Illythra out in the countryside, & her predator instincts were locked deep within her chest. Collette was not one to kill merciless any longer, without a liable reason…but many things had changed as of recent.
“Why don’t I just ask your friend here?” she teased, pushing him further into the wall, sneering up at him with sarcastic venom dripping from her tongue. “He obviously wants you dead. You obviously don’t deserve to live. So what shall it be, mortal? Do you need a lady to finish the job for you?” her eyes flickered over to the man, a flirtatious grin remaining plastered against her face.
Smashed Into Pieces || Collette & Bradin
Bradin’s heart started to flutter in his chest as he followed this man off of the main street down the center of Night Haven and towards a cluster of other old, worn brick buildings that eventually lead to the edge of the village. He had been in his share of fights before; having to defend what was his plenty of times, whether that had been his work, shop, or even his family once upon a time. But never had Bradin acted on his ravenous urge to physically destroy, and murder, another person whenever those strange feelings would surface.
So even as the human strolled decently close behind the man, known as Gregory, with hands in his pockets and his shoulders rolled forward in a dangerous looking stalk, the drunkard was far too out of it to notice.
Gregory sang merrily to himself as he stumbled onwards, words that made absolutly no sense escaping disgusting lips. Bradin breathed in deep as he walked by an ally between two brick buildings, and just as Gregory was passing by the gap, Bradin’s hands gripped his shoulders and violently threw him into the ally with any amount of strength he could muster up.
Gregory fell and cursed loudly, his voice directed of annoyance and anger. He crawled further into the ally before, by some miracle, finding his way to his feet. A large finger pointed at Bradin, eyes glaring menacingly at the human as Bradin further approached him.
He would be lying if he said he wasn’t in the least bit worried that Gregory, even in his complete drunken stupor, had the advantage of size towards Bradin but in that moment he could not care. Rage built inside of him as every single memory from his past flooded through his mind; taunting him with the fact that Bradin was not strong enough to save his family, that he had let them die and never brought closure to their name.
Gregory spewed words but Bradin did not hear them. Instead his ears rang with the crackling of the fire from his old home in which his family had been burned. They rang with the ridiculously annoying words that escaped Gregorry’s lips every night at Thirst. They rang with the sound of Bradin’s fist making an incredible impact against the drunken mans face and snapping of bones and the spilling of teeth against the ground at his feet.
Gregory fell backwards and Bradin crawled on top of him, smashing his fist into his face repeatedly without any sense of mercy or regret. With each collision a vision of his past broke free from his memories, erupting the feelings of malice and disgust that Bradin thought of himself from the life he had chosen to live. He did not want this man to live. He wanted to rip everything away from him like somebody had ripped his family away from Bradin four years prior. He was chosing to be selfish and uncaring, and as Bradin stood from the bloodied man beneath him he could only inhale deep breaths of sick satisfaction.
The drunk stifled a moan against the ground; body completly coated in his own blood, eyes rolling about, and face unrecognizable. He was still alive, and Bradin stood above him with a heaving chest. His hands went to the knife that was always strapped against his waist and flicked it open. The small sound was enough for Gregory to eye it from his broken stature on the ground.
“Please don’t,” he choked on his blood, the liquid gurgling from the corners of his lips. “Please…I’m sorry…”
Oh the smell of mortal blood; divine and disgustingly fantastic against enhanced senses. It teased at the hunger urges inside of an elder body even to that day, the want to shove the attractive man off of the helpless frame of the drunkard on the ground & lap at the blood protruding from the crevasses on his face was tempting. If she could have a taste before he died then the blood would be worth sucking dry from underneath of his skin, & perhaps she’d be able to gather a small taste of the ale he had consumed moments or hours prior. How she missed the taste of cheap alcohol…
Collette could only watch in both admiration & entrancement as she watched this man slam fist after fist against broken cheekbones & shattered eye sockets. She wondered what in the world could posses such wonderfully sadistic feelings to erupt in mortal men to cause the humans to act out the way they sometimes did around the country. With other supernaturals Collette understood completely; sometimes they did not have a choice as the transformation from man to specie collected unseen & unknown forces to seep into their minds. But what was it that caused mortal man to turn into something evil, something intriguing to an old queen that, while watching this man unleash a fury, was unraveling a demonic attractiveness of her own.
He didn’t hear her approaching from behind him, perhaps wrapped up in whatever it was that was possesing his mind at that moment while he reached for his knife. Collette held a simple grin against red lips as she continued for the bloody pair, catching his uneven & wispy breathe that emitted from his chest & how the emotions that radiated off of his body were of pure revenge.
Revenge? Interesting.
She wanted to watch him kill the drunk; she wanted to see the flicker of hatred in his eyes when he slid the blade across his throat only to be further coated in the crimson that would spray from the incision. She wanted to know if he could actually do it or not, for if he could kill a man simply out of a revenge being a mortal who knew what other repressed emotions he was hiding underneath of that pretty skin, & how incredibly useful they could be to her.
“Well go on,”
The mans eyes reflected surprise as Collette simply stepped around the drunk to stand near his top nonchalantly, as if she naturally belonged there. The drunk on the ground squirmed in disapproval yet Collette’s gaze was more attracted to the scruffy man standing over him with the knife. “This is what you wanted, wasn’t it? This is why you followed him. Come on, entertain me. I love to watch the life fade from their eyes,”
Collette & Charles || Paying The Devil To Dance
“Oh. So you are giving me permission, Miss Markham?”
Abandoning his whip to fall carelessly on the floor, Charles’ red eyes trailed over the woman’s body. Taking his time to wander over her curves. Any man who could look over the beauty that stood lustfully before him and feel no attraction to her clearly was not right in his head. With her round hips, tiny waist, and perfectly sculpted breasts her body was comparable to a fictional goddess, not bad for an old woman. And though Collette did not meet his standards when it came to “the perfect woman” he could not deny that he felt some form of lust after her, a sentiment he shared with most men he assumed.
“That takes out half the fun.”
The phantom slowly approached the woman, eyes everywhere but her own, to roughly run his hands up her hips, pulling the skirt of her dress up a bit as he leaned against her. Pushing her back into the wall he wrapped his arms around her waist and forced her against him, his bright red eyes looking deep into her blues with a frightening yet enticing smirk. Only just brushing their lips together he licked what bloody residue had been left over on her lips off of his, digging his nails into her smooth skin. Charles’ grin widened and he merged his cells into hers, taking a step froward as he phased the lower half of his body into the soulless vampire.
“You’ve always wanted me inside of you, haven’t you Collette? Tell me, is it everything you imagined?”
With a light laugh the man took several steps back with a Cheshire grin, slipping his hands in his pockets while he playfully sauntered around the dungeon listening to the melody of tortured screams and cries for mercy. Such a lovely sound. It made him regret not coming to Collette’s play date sooner. Leaning up against the wall behind the dying prisoner, Charles glanced over the open wounds decorating his near mutilated back, nodding in approval.
“Alright, alright. Work before play, you tyrant. So what’s this job? Do I get to kill someone? Torture? Threaten? Your wish is my command milady.”
It was perhaps, throughout the many years that Collette had graced Athoria & its men with her natural beauty & even more flourishing attitude when it came to how she preferred to be treated amongst males of higher standards, the first real & honest tease that she had ever encountered. & it wasn’t fair, yet it made Collette grin with a girlish smirk of her own in response to Charles’s body pressed seductively inside hers & the her pale skin tingled with the secretion of lust that her urges were so graciously handing to her. It was oddly acceptable, for Charles to be treating her as though she were a simple piece of eye candy & friendly face to have a nice chat with, & it only made Collette want him that much more.
She imagined what it would feel like, to have the dominating man looming overtop of her, rubbing at the places on her body that would make her cry out in sheer delight & fascination; to throw her around a bit & maybe she’d even let him play his own game of torture against flesh that was more than able to take the beatings. Charles was probably perfectly sculpted, with creases against his chest & arms in all the right places, & with a husky voice consumed with his own lust that would breathe against her ear words that were dirty & ravaging.
Well, what else was she supposed to think about at a moment like that?
Collette stayed pressed against the wall even when her desired moved away once more, more or less obviously flustered with her own sadistic & erotic smile grazing perfect lips. Fangs retracted back to their rightful place against her gums & Collette watched as Charles gazed over her handiwork with the tortured in the middle of the room.
“Tyrant? Whatever would give you that impression,” she said sarcastically, hands moving to her dress to tug it back to its rightful place against slender legs. “I’ve given you much work in the past, dear Charles, & I’ve always appreciated both your haste & durability when completing your chosen target. This will be no different, of course, except I don’t care what you do with it. Kill it, torture it, have your way with it, keep it as a slave…I just want it to know its place in this hierarchy of our species & to know that De la Nuit is above them. Eventually I’ll need the message to get back to their leader, one way or another, but its life I do not care about regardless,”
Collette walked forward to her captive, picking up his chin with her finger & gazing through his eyes as if she could see into his soul. “You’ve suffered enough today don’t you think?” & with a blink of an eye, Collette snapped his neck easily, & wiped her palms together nonchalantly.
“Her name is Rebecca Anske, a warrior of Vargulf,”
Collette & Charles || Paying The Devil To Dance
A light grin played over Charles’ lips as the vampire forced him back against the wall. To some, being in a position where a fanged beast loomed hungrily over ones body would have been cause for concern. Collette’s haunting blue eyes and blood stained lips might have frightened the mortals and minions of Athoria but to Charles this woman was no more threat than a delicate flower standing in the path of a great storm. Having a female in any high standing position, especially one that called for commanding orders, was a laughable matter to the sexist phantom who saw woman more as property and a way to release his physical and sexual frustrations. Though if there had been any member of this inferior gender to gain the slightest amount of respect from the incredibly biased and egotistical phantom, it had been Collette.
With the uptight and always prideful queen prancing around as if she owned the country, Charles’ made it a point to knock her down a peg every chance that he saw. Not only was this a way to assert his own dominance but anything that he could do to irritate or taunt the woman brought him a little too much pleasure. His antics always brought out the worst in the woman and pushing her to her breaking point gave him a great sense of achievement. Though this task was never easily accomplished. Her will power had proven exceptional in comparison to that of his most recent would be employer, the thought alone generating a light chuckle.
Charles leaned forward, lightly brushing his lips against hers. Eyes of red closed and his lips softly caressed their way over her smooth cheek as he went to whisper breathlessly against her ear. “Tease you? Why, whatever do you mean Collette?”
Dramatically shrugging his shoulders as if he had no idea what she was referring to, the phantom released himself from her grasp and began to mindlessly inspect one of the metallic torture devices. His way of feeding into the illusion that he had zero interest in the vampire, it was all part of this strange game they had created so long ago. Unfortunately for her, he knew that she was enthralled by him and promptly used such knowledge to torture the desperate woman. Knowing that she was only one command away from dropping to her knees to beg. After all, who could possibly resist such a god like specimen?
“I’m assuming that you’ve called me for something more than to simply bask in the glow of my good looks and charming personality.”
The phantom turned to the self proclaimed leader and ran the length of the whip through his hands with an evil grin, cracking it against the metal device he had been inspecting only moments prior. “Or does her royal highness simply need to be punished?”
Those wonderfully erotic & most difficult controlled urges, that even an elder specie of Collette’s stature could struggle with, raced through empty veins of dead blood &, if it were possible, brightened the cheeks of pale skin against her face. She watched with enticed blue eyes, sparkling with a natural lust that secreted easily, as Charles moved about the room in which her hostage remained hanging now almost lifelessly from the ceiling. The phantom was, perhaps, the most gorgeous man she had ever crossed paths with; & that was saying something, having been married in a past life & practically betrothed to Michael for a handful of centuries.
But no, Charles was different in a more seductive way. His shoulders were completely squared & he was tall, with a long torso that Collette only imaged to be a perfect display of how the male body should look. She watched as he moved, the swiftness in his short steps reflecting his experience as a hunter & how the corners of full lips were consistently curled into the most cockiest grin Collette had ever seen. She imaged tracing his jaw with her nail & down a dominant neck, digging at the tender skin there & spilling the tiniest bit of his blood.
Collette’s skin tingled as she had turned to watch her company & ran her thumb against her own lips, catching her dripping red substance & licking it with a matching red tongue. Men hadn’t exactly been a part of Collette’s plans as of recently, since Calvin in particular, & she had been okay with that. Her committee were bothering her about other affairs in Athoria & De la Nuit’s actions towards them, affairs that needed to be addressed apparently.
It was mostly about where King Athor had run off too.
Since Asa had conveniently invited Collette to her fighting event (something that Collette knew had an underlying intention when it came to see who was who in Athoria in relation to their matching kindreds), the queen herself was on a newer mission. It involved a specie completely opposite of her own, & one that she hadn’t associated with in about a century.
“Oh I need to be punished, alright,”
She wished Charles wasn’t so distracting from, like he had noted, the real reason why she had summoned the murderer. His skin alone was inviting to sink threatening teeth into & that smirk of his wasn’t helping to calm the lust that soared through Collette like fire.
“I have something for you to do for me, if you don’t mind. I’ll pay you what I normally do & if you’re lucky, maybe you can get something a little extra afterwards,” Collette leaned her back against the wall & with one finger twirled a delicate piece of blonde around it. “Then you can take your sadistic, dominating, & fascinating release out on me,”
Smashed Into Pieces || Collette & Bradin
It had started over something extremely redundant.
The drunk men from Thirst poured onto the streets of Night Haven after Iris had served the last drinks and stumbled about, profanities spewing from their lips. It made Bradin laugh. He stood outside against the brick building with a smoke between his lips watching the scene unravel before him, the literal kicks in the bottoms of the men by Iris’s boot and the final closing of the tavern door. It was very late into the night and the small village was mostly asleep save the single men that had no wives to rush home to or the ones that did and simply did not care less of their state. Bradin chuckled, his own body only slightly tipsy from his consumption of ale that night, with one boot against the brick and the smoke making fun circles around his handsome face.
Bradin recognized one man, the loudest one, as the most annoying member of Night Haven and wished he would be quiet. The drunken sways and the arms wrapped around each others shoulders was amusing for a while but eventually Bradin’s nerves were testing the human to act upon random urges to attack something. It wasn’t the drunk and it wasn’t the fact that, even though his man deserved to have it handed to him every once in a while, was a pain in Athoria’s ass. In fact, Bradin had no idea what it was or where it came from that, at times, made the man feel angry the way he did about certain people…
Repressed memories rendering his present day emotions, perhaps. Or maybe he just enjoyed beating people to a bloody pulp every now and again.
Bradin watched as three of the men made their way from Thirst near the front gates of Night Haven and down the middle of the main road leading further into the village. He pushed himself from the wall, cigarette pressed between two fingers and hazel eyes sporting that of a stalking being. He wondered what it would feel like to be able to rip that man’s head off, to watch as his breathe was suddenly taken from him so harshly that his expression remained implanted on his face when he died. Surely Bradin would be doing Athoria a favor; to have the woman of Night Haven free of sleazy comments that escaped his chapped lips whenever he got the chance and for Iris to be left alone to do her job at Thirst without having to watch over her shoulder to make sure he wasn’t stealing her tip money.
The human wasn’t sure where the thoughts were coming from but it hadn’t been anything new. He recalled feeling that way before a select few times, usually around the anniversary of his wife and girls deaths, but he had always managed to surpress those emotions into a piece of art in order to protect his own safety and sanity.
Tonight would be different. Tonight Bradin would give into the ungodly amount of pain that he had always wished to create upon this man without guilt or remorse, and especially without getting caught.
Collette’s time spent at The Frost Residence in Night Haven had been longer than intended, yet it was completely necessary & the queen had both gathered information that she had required & learned some that had not been anticipated. As she walked from the cluster of nicer homes that lingered in one section of the village Collette lost herself in thought. Emery Frost had exploited much to her about Michael, about his lack of appearence since being back from England & how he had not even been around Thirst as much. Collette hadn’t been trying to snoop around her ex-lovers life, especially not after his harsh words not too long ago at her home, but it had slipped from the young progeny’s lips as if he had been waiting to spill it to somebody that he trusted.
Steps echoed through a deadly silent town as the shops were closed & the houses were dark with sleeping beings. Collette did not enjoy how distraught Emery had been, especially after knowing that Casper had completed his glamoured duties that were bestowed upon him. & even though Collette did not wish to know the tragedy that had fallen upon Emery’s shoulders because of it, the elder vampire still felt highly responsible.
She was thrilled to discover, however, that he was willing to participe in the event that the Draugr were holding very soon. It would be good for him, for all of them, to watch the youngest warrior in the competition fight until the end. Perhaps Michael would be able to see just how much Emery deserved to be praised, & how his beast was easily contained without the help of some magic potion.
Then again, Chandra was not one to be wrong in such matters.
With a frown Collette hurried along, steps eager to enter the safety of the Hallowed Oak & rush towards Brailston where she’d most likely stay for the next day. With empty streets the obnoxiously loud voices of a handful of drunk men were easily obtained through enhanced senses, & as Collette rounded a corner to enter the main part of the village she spotted three of them singing merrily down the middle of the road. They swayed & laughed, pushed each other & spit when they talked. It was disgusting; some mortal men were just too ghastly to even try to understand.
With her dark dress Collette blended into the shadows of the bricks buildings easily, although golden locks were easily seen against a pitch black night. Her hand grazed the brick structures as she walked, eyes narrowed to amused slits as she watched these men stumble about.
Even as they staggered by Collette stifled a laugh, happy that Thirst had at least had some interesting business that night & that poor Iris was probably stressed out from it. It was also then that Collette caught sight of another man following behind the drunks a handful of paces, his demeanor tall & features set in a very primitive glare. She watched further as two of the men continued to trip down the main road. The third turned down another, waving messy goodbyes to his friends as he did so & without the intonation that he was being stalked.
Intrigued now at the scene unravelling & with her own cheeky grin upon ruby lips, Collette stepped from her shadows silently & followed the last set of men herself.
Collette & Charles || Paying The Devil To Dance
With one hand hidden in his pocket and the other trailing along against the rough interior of the cave like passage, Charles whistled out the tune to a child’s rhyme. His unique voice bounced back and forth through the hall, echoing strangely with an ominous tone. A horrific sight for anyone to behold in such a dismal area, even more so considering where it was he was headed. His steps were confident in the dark passage, easily gliding over loose footholds and rocks set out to trip those who did not mind their step. Red eyes stared straight ahead into the darkness, not bothering to search the ground ahead of him for he had traveled the path often enough to know his way around the troublesome little obstacles.
A tortured scream rang out in the distance, the residual cry escaping through the tunnels and passed the mans ear. Stopping in mid whistle, Charles halted his movements and tilted his head to better hear the fading sounds of the pained man. A terrifying grin parted his lips, revealing his white teeth which snapped together in play at the transfixing noise. With a new found bounce in his step, Charles practically skipped through the tunnels. His foot falls carelessly splashing into puddles formed from the dripping stone walls as he found his way to the center of of De La Nuit’s dungeons. He stood in the middle of the tall room, allowing his eyelids to flutter closed at the hypnotic sounds of pain and fear which wafted in through the wide network of halls that led off even deeper into the earth. Each hall led the way to metal cells and screaming prisoners, each crying out in fear, hunger, and pain.
Such a beautiful sound. Charles tilted his head back and listened to the symphony of torture. Each scream and moan a contributing note to the orchestra that played in the mind of the disturbed man. He wore the smile of a school boy, enjoying the not so subtle scent of blood, death, and destruction. Shaking his head with a pleasant sigh, Charles pulled himself back to his current mission and phased through the east wall. He traveled easily through the different cells and chambers of torture until he found that woman he had been searching for. His eyes trailed over her well defined back as she swung her instrument of torture across the face of what Charles saw to be a lucky man. The phantom licked his lips, feeling the chills of her victims screams flow through him and shuddered.
Collette was always stunning, especially when provoked into a state of anger or vengeance. Whenever Charles brought about a frown or scowl on her pretty little face it filled the man with satisfaction and intrigue, for he knew just what the woman was capable of and in Charles’ sick mind what should have registered as fear or self preservation brought up quite a different emotion. Lust, excitement, interesting arrays of feeling from from guilt or the dreaded boredom that taunted him ever so often. The phantom smirked and watched as the “classy” female gave into her blood lust, sinking her fangs sloppily into the neck of the squirming waste and greedily lapping up the nourishing crimson. Charles rolled his eyes at the woman with the smirk still in place and brought himself to stand just behind her, leaning his tall body over her to whisper into her ear while grabbing the whip from her hands.
“I thought I might find you here.”
Cracking the whip at his side Charles trailed the heavy material up Collette’s hip, roughly following the curves of her body.
“How about I teach you how to use this properly?” He spoke with a deep harsh voice, more of a command than an actual question.
“Oh, please do,”
Charles’s body behind her own was not only familiar but something Collette enjoyed in a sadistic & profound sexual way. Regardless of being a queen & playing the snotty part to hundreds of her kin, her own excitement in that manner stemmed mostly around the need to be controlled. It was her internal erotic & sensual urges with those that made her insides leap that caused Collette’s fondness of having an acquaintance like Charles Ridgeway, the murderous & utterly delicious looking phantom, at her beckoning call to be praised.
Of course, his arrival to make an appearance after being summoned was generally on his terms, but he always showed, nonetheless. They all usually did.
Within the second Collette had turned against his light touch, shoved the phantom back against the far wall & wrapped delicate fingers around his stern neck. Crimson from her tortured mortal dripped from still exposed fangs & shining blue eyes blinked up at Charles’s reds with admiration.
“It’s good to see you too, finally,” she mused in a playful manner, her other hand swiftly twirling the pieces of dark hair against the side of his head. Charles had always fascinated Collette. Even when the man was just a human & was leaving his killings all over Athoria without a care in the world as to what he had become before lucifer even gave him another chance at life, Collette was a secret admirer. In a way it had always been nice discovering that it was not just the supernaturals of the earth that had ridiculous tendencies to kill mercilessly, & it was also amusing to watch the humans of her country become flustered at the fact that the killer had been just a man.
Regardless, befriending the handsome murderer was something Collette would not regret. & his handiwork since becoming a phantom only allowed him to partake in his sadistic urges with even more means of entertainment.
“I love how you stay so handsome. Can’t I just keep you in my pocket for the rest of my glorious immortal life?” Collette grinned, lips finding their way overtop of his, hovering gently. Their relationship had always been something to cherish; it was interesting in its own distinct way, & Collette knew that if only the phantom were of her specie she’d be head over heels for the murderer. Unfortunately, his lack of a matching pair of fangs left a fine barrier towards her urges for him in the longer sense, & what remained was a very respected, & yearning, friendship. ”Come on, don’t tease a girl,”
