This took awhile to finally finish for a lot of reasons. The main one being that classic "OH MY GOD MY LIFE IS MOVING FORWARD SO MUCH STOP!" but after getting some feedback from a friend and feeling motivated to get it done before the release of chapter 5 here it is! It's made to be light and friendly to newer Toon Boom animators, but if you do have any questions do shoot me a message here! Also a SPECIAL THANKS for: @smieska-draws For giving advice on my rigging questions, they are much much experienced in rigs than I ever will be that's for sure. @pinatadoodles For doing some animation testing, it helped a lot in trying to make it more user friendly. @alonzoarts For general advice for making Spamton more on model and more of a big shot.

Also my IRL friend Marcia who is a sane person who doesn't use social media much, but she came around my house and together we dug through the node view and gave it some final touches! THIS RIG IS NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE AND IS FOR FUN! Please let me know if anyone gets a chance to animate with it and has any feedback. For now, I can put this to rest for a little bit. Again, terribly sorry this took so long. ENJOY!

Making of Reblog

Much like my Spamton animation before I planned out the main story poses on my iPad. It’s a nice way to get ideas and keeps me away from my computer. Like I’ve said before, it’s hard to be on my computer after work hours. You just wanna get away from it.

Down side to this though is you don’t have instant playback of the audio, I would just play it in another tab now and again. When I imported the drawings into Toon Boom and started posing the rig I noticed some expressions were to strong, or some ideas didn’t really fit the rhythm of the dialogue as well as I would of liked.

It’s why in the long term it’s best to have that instant playback if you can, but drawing of the sofa away from a desk is toooo nice.
