I wanna try a new restaurant at SM City’s expansion area, and decided to eat here! The name is so familiar coz I think I saw this restaurant before when my family and I checked in at Chalet Hotel by L’Fisher in Bacolod CIty so I guess its a sign that I should try it out this time!

“Churros with chocolate dip”

It looks delicious but when I tried it, uhmmm not really that good. hehe :)

Yumminess rate: 5/10

“Chocolate Mad Crunch”

The waitress recommended this cake because according to her its one of their best seller. So I gave it a try and yeah! I guess its delish but not that “closing-my-eyes-and-feels-like-I’m-in heaven” kind of moment.

Yumminess rate: 7/10

“Mocha cream cronut” ( crossant + donut = cronuts)

Yumminess rate: 7/10

“Mackerel Pasta”

I love this dish but too much olive oil for me! hihi Its a little salty and spicy just the right amount of mackerel and parmesan cheese.

Yumminess rate: 9/10

“C’s Burger”

It comes with potato wedges and lettuce drizzled with vinegar and soy sauce. I like the burger patties coz its not too greasy and not overcooked so its kinda juicy. Just perfect! I recommend this one guys! Its a must try!

The Pastry Shop Of Bobs (Robinsons Mall Bacolod City)

This restaurant is one of my fave places to eat when I visit Bacolod City.

Fresh Fruit Punch (with real fruit chunks)

Yumminess rate: 10/10

Baby Backribs w/ rice and veggies

The ribs are tender and loaded with flavor but I like it more if it has more sauce.

Yumminess rate: 10/10

Tuna Fettuccine (the noodles are overcooked and too cheessssy!,so I don’t like it that much) :)

Yumminess rate: 7/10

But all in all I still enjoyed my meal. If you’re planning to visit robinsons mall bacolod, you need to try this restaurant! And they also have different cakes, breads etc. I need to try the desserts next time. ;)

“SULU GARDEN RESTAURANT” Miag-ao, Iloilo, Philippines

One boring unproductive day, while surfing the net and looking for Japanese inspired restaurants. I found SULU GARDEN RESTAURANT (www.sulugarden.com) just an hour drive from the city, so I decided to give a try on a hot lazy sunday noon.

This is near the entrance of the restaurant with a little koi pond and stepping stones all the way up to the “Japanese Style Tea House”, the tables are low and you need to sit on the floor don’t worry because they provide pillows for extra comfort.

This ares is under the trellis and perfect for couples. But I don’t recommend eating here at 12 noon because its too hot!

After all the fuss I settled under the talisay tree because its way more cooler here. Thank to all the trees around me :) Plus I have a beautiful view of the creek.

And the spanish era stone bridge :)

The other way leads to the the University of the Philippines mini forest. :)

First up is the “Shrimp Tempura” (95php 4 pcs.) Yumminess rate: 8/10

Sulu Special Maki (145php 8 pcs.) Yumminess rate: 9/10

Beef Teridon (105.00 php) Yumminess rate: 7/10

Cool Off (mango, banana and orange) This is my fave so I’ll give it a perfect 10, because its very refreshing for only 95 pesos! :)

Classic California Maki (145.00 php 8pcs.) Yumminess rate: 6/10.

After eating lunch I checked out the round red door at the back of the restaurant which reminds me of the Japanese flag. There’s also a small garden of herbs and other plants. :)
