The broomstick servicing kit was standard, nothing fancy, but she needed at least one thing Colette was guaranteed to like. She sure as hell wasn’t going to be known as the lame secret santa. The second was a little better, a box of small vials; replenishing potion, burning bitterroot balm, draught of peace, and an invigoration draught.

Louis arranged with the house elves to deliver his little boxed gift to Colette after he’d left for break, with just a card baring ‘Happy Christmas’ and his name. He knew she’d know the colors, and the gold star would give away the telltale symbol of her favorite team.
