It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Much has happened behind the scenes, Tsupro has been pumping out exciting announcements for the future like Shin Ultraman and the Marvel collaboration, and hey Ultraman Taiga’s just recently ended.

Today, we have some news for you.

After some deliberation with the group, we of Color Timer has decided to take down all of our Ultraman releases, both R/B and Taiga.

By the time you’ve read this post, our archives for these two shows will be wiped out.

But why take them down?

With Tsupro’s plans of localizing much of the Ultra series available, we feel it’s best we take a step back and let them handle the rest. I understand some of you might be disappointed with the step we’re taking, but with the creators being dead set on making the Ultra series accessible for everyone, we feel it would be better for you to try to support them as much as possible.

We of Color Timer Subs would like to thank you for your support in our Ultra-related projects. It was really fun (making shirt puns) while it lasted. And we wish you a happy holidays!

Will you still be doing subs for the Tri-Squad Voice Drama? I don't know if they will be adding subs for that anytime soon.

One of our fellow translators is actively working on a select number of voice dramas. We will only post .srt files for that.

Taiga releases on temporary hold

In light of the recent discovery of all episodes of Ultraman Taiga (just eps 2~9) being no longer region locked and is available to those outside of Asia, Color Timer Subs will be hold off releases temporarily until further notice. We’re still following our policy so we apologize for any inconvenience to those expecting releases!

However it’s also a good chance for you to watch the shows legally! Please show your support to Tsuburaya Productions and their releases on YouTube by liking and commenting their videos! Subscribe their channel too for future releases! Thanks!

To be fair, I honestly prefer you guys taking forever on these Taiga subs rather than you posting them weekly. You take care of yourselves now and don’t try to rush. I can wait. Just keep being awesome in the meantime, ok?

We’re still working on Taiga, albeit slowly. We’re just a small group, and sometimes life just happens when you least expect it you know. :)

To give you some status update: Episodes 3 and 4 are already being translated, and is currently on hold for QCing.

Ultraman Series to Receive Global Expansion - The Tokusatsu Network

Tsuburaya Productions recently held a Malaysian press conference, where they announced the global future for the Ultraman series. In a recent ruling by the United States District Court, Tsuburaya Productions won its bid to be the sole intellectual property owner of Ultraman. President of Tsuburaya, Masayuki Nagatake, announced that this has led them to focus on …

“Ultraman Taiga, will become available worldwide in 2020.”

Tsuburaya Production announces ULTRA GALAXY FIGHT to be released exclusively on Youtube on Sept. 29

The mini series will be directed by Koichi Sakamoto (Mega Monster Battle The Movie, Ultraman Ginga S, Ultraman Geed, etc), and will be featuring all the New Generation Heroes from Ultraman Ginga to Ultraman Taiga. Ultrawoman Grigio and Ultraman Zero will also be making an appearance.

The story will take place in between the R/B movie and Taiga episode 1, and it involves the appearance of X Darkness, Geed Darkness, Ultra Dark Killer's first appearance, Dark Lugiel, Etelgar, and more.

The series is set for a worldwide release (yes, it'll be in English!), and new episodes will be uploaded every Sunday at 10am (Japan Time).

That’s right, we get these questions a lot, so we may as well address them on here!

Q: Will you sub _____?

We’ll probably consider, but we can’t make promises. We can only confirm once we make an announcement post about it.

Q: Why is _____ taking so long? When will you release _____?

For official Youtube releases from TsuPro, our policy is to share the subs a week after the previous episode release (For example, we release Episode 1 once Episode 2 has premiered both on-air and on Youtube.) We’d rather want TsuPro’s online releases to gain traction to those who have access, as it’s a good way to support them.

Other than that, we want to take our time and offer at least a decent quality in our translations when released. We’re doing this in our spare time and for free just so you know!

Q: Will you release episodes in other video resolutions? (eg. 720p or lower)

We’re only provided with whatever raws there are available, and we’ll stick to it in the meantime.

Q: I want to help out in your work in some way! What should I do?

For now, we’ll ask you all to check on typos and errors along the way so that we can update with new versions in the future. When you do find any just let us know! And please provide timestamps so it’d be easier to track!

Any idea where to watch the rb movie?

At the moment, there’s a Chinese dub and sub ripped from a Chinese streaming site floating around the internet. I’m not sure where you can get it though.

The official home video release however isn’t out yet, and might be out around next month or so. So you’ll have to wait a bit longer, sorry!
