When Sun Oh kissed Jojo and her name was removed from Hye Yeong’s people who might like you, I was like what the actual fuck nooo how can one kiss just change everything her and Hye Yeong have but PLOT TWIST her name went from might like you to loves you and he just couldn’t see because of her shield.

idc that majority of the fandom hates Season 2 of Love Alarm because of the JoJo/Hye Yeong ship sailing, but wow did I adore Episode 4 exactly for that reason! because among the ending of that episode (which I will post about it within a day or two), THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PARTS OF THE ENTIRE SERIES.

[SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY]

When that viral video of JoJo walking away from Sun Oh dropped and JoJo seemingly disappeared, Hye Yeong searched for her in all HER FAMILIAR PLACES (first at her college and then at her work place near where she lived)

He knew that she ran away-- but it didn't occur to him that she did run away...

TO HIS PLACE! SHE RAN TO HIM!

And ngl I had initially thought that she ran to his place because THAT WAS HER SAFE SPACE (with him!)... and on some level yes, but OMG her actual reason for going to him after that video blew up was so much better!

His concern. His well-being. She ran TO HIM because SHE WAS WORRIED ABOUT HIM and not herself!

Her younger self would have run away once things got hard. But she loves Hye Yeong so much that instead of worrying about the pain of that video might cause her, she placed HIS PAIN ahead of her own! Something that Hye Yeong has done since day one and before they started dating!

Even more beautiful considering that was the exact same reason why Hye Yeong was searching for her earlier before he found her at his place!

During a confrontation between himself and Sun Oh, Hye Yeong made it abundantly clear that he could care less about the video itself [and the possibility of losing JoJo back to Sun Oh] and more about JoJo's well-being BECAUSE of the viral video!

I just-- gosh I love that for both of them! I can't believe I had ever feared their love story would have ended badly when Episode 4 gave me these moments.
