Robin held the sword up to the opened first, allowing the man to have it. With that out of the way, he was able to take hold of his legs once again and stand up straight. Much better.
Kuroh Yatogami though? “Robin Estrella.” the Serpent Bearer gave his own name in exchange. With a deep inhale, he starts making his way back towards home.
Clouds were gathering in the sky, darkening… one could feel it in the air, it was going to rain. Hopefully it would hold off until they’re actually in the Serpent Bearer’s home but— it’s not looking promising.
Conversation… conversation… this quietness is weird. “What… do you think about rain…? Do you like it…?”
His entire body was weak-- including his hands and fingers. But Kuroh had just enough resolve to clench a hold around the swords hilt. It slotted into his palm, and a small huff of breath escaped him. Relief perhaps?
“Thank you for helping me, Robin Estrella,” he managed before slipping into silence. His mind teetered between that strange fever, and his disbelief at this seemingly pure act of kindness from a complete stranger.
The talk of rain pulled him back to the present plain of existence. The other boy’s voice like a clap of thunder in his ears. That odd sharp loud and simultaneous distance as it reached his fevered brain.
“I like it in the Spring time,” he said softly, mouth nuzzled against Robin’s shoulder.
