The Red Studio" I learned a lot from the painters and art historians they spoke with and interviewed, as well as from them. One thing that really stuck out to me was the requirement to let oil paint to dry before making any adjustments to your artwork. This implies that as time passes, the artist will need to fully reflect on and think through the painting, changing how he views it. Many people also believe that a painting similar to his would be simple to replicate, however this is not the case. He faced a lot of criticism for a painting like "The Red Studio," which was revolutionary for its time. Today, however, artists from all over the world appreciate it, and it has inspired other painters to explore different artistic mediums. Overall, I much more thoroughly than anticipated appreciated the episode. And I appreciate that artists gave me some guidance on the creative process.

The man discusses how he uses color to express himself and how the world perceives it in the interview. When you combine the two, you get a really nice blending of two posits. He enjoys using color and how it interacts with other colors to enhance his artwork. He chooses three to four colors and carefully considers the impact each hue will have on the atmosphere and overall look of the piece. A poet who puts his nose in grass can perceive it as a forest, according to his famous remark. I find it to be quite lovely and insightful regarding perspective. Do less and disregard the need to do more is a recurring theme in all of his work.

This reading taught us about color and how it is created. We learned about color physics and how light reflected across surfaces creates color. We also learned about color wave length and frequency, as well as how each color represents something different. We also learned about the colors on the wheels and how they interact with one another. Then we learned about the twelve part color circles and how they are used in color design, as well as the 12 different hue colors and how mixing colors next to each other creates the middle color for transitions. I also learned about cold-warm properties (properties that opposed each other). We also learned about properties such as saturation, which is the purity of a color.
