Not too long ago, there were some major bouts of infighting over who did what. Around that time, I wasĀ ābannedā from a certain story. Yeah, Iām talking about @thejiltedones. I destroyed potential relationships.
I created ColorWorld to create an environment that is welcoming, and collaborative for many.
However, I was thinking about things too differently. Hell, I was even aiming too high, too fast. More importantly, I tried assuming control instead of focusing on my own shit. Yeah, I was being a control freak. Iāll admit it right there.
All of that made a few fans, and a few people I looked up to, turn away. BluebottleFlyer, one of my good friends, said exactly that. I am ambitious, but maybe I was too ambitious.
Iāve decided to close the chapter on what I was trying to do with @feigeroman @rockinfoxjake @glorie-daze and others. It wasnāt really worth it to continue forward with everything. It was already difficult to maintain a shared universe, let alone start one.
Iām dissolving the partnership. ColorWorld as I thought it would be...is no more. Iām also severing ties with everyone, and all the others should do the same.
My mother wants me to make designs of the Twins, to be used on merch. I initially said no, but Craig reminded me that I created them to be intentionally toyetic. Hell, the Twins, Fae of Avalon, Bunny and Bear, Dragon Mages...are all pretty tailor-made to be toyetic. Who wouldnāt want a plush of Bunny? :P
Those four I mentioned could be their own individual franchises.
Also, as for certain groups and pages, and Wikis? Theyāre going to be deleted. Especially the Wikis. Like Elizabeth said -Ā āby fans, for fans.ā And we barely had any.
I am starting over and knuckling down to work. And it will take time to make it all happen.
