After many hours of fidgeting and waiting, the Colour Fantastica Big Cartel Store is ready and running! We thank everybody for your amazing patience :) We have copies of the book, of course, but we also have some other goodies such as some snazzy gift cards based off the cover designs of each of the individual chapters from the anthology. Do check it out ♪

We have now begun shipping of your books and rewards!

After wracking our brains for the best possible and lightest packaging solutions, we discovered that we still couldn't escape massive postage costs for each case, more than what we had calculated for. So to remedy this we are opting for Sea Mail for most overseas pledgers.

The ETA for these parcels will be about 2-3 months, but we made packaging and protection of the books our top priority, so they are well padded for the most comfortable journey.

SHIPPING DELEGATIONS: Vikki is taking care of all International rewards and all tiers $50 and above. These will be sent out from Melbourne, VIC. Eri is taking care of most rewards within Australia, and they will be sent out from Canberra, ACT.

<strong>IMPORTANT NOTE: There are a few people whom we still have not received survey responses/addresses from. If you are one of these people we will be contacting you with a reminder but we will not be able to ship your reward until we have the correct information.</strong>

If you could let us know once you have received your rewards, that would be great! Otherwise, look forward to your packages and thanks once more for making this all happen!

Saturday March 7th started off a little bit rainy, but by the afternoon and launch time we had some glorious Melbourne autumn weather. The night before had Vikki and Eri picking up some beautiful prints and cards printed by Classic Press (Kickstarter rewards and merchandise), and the morning was spent with the Sydney artists signing copies of the books for our Kickstarter backer copies.

We had a phenomenal turn out, and we appreciate each and everyone of you who came, had a chat to us, bought a copy of the anthology, and lent us your support. The day would not have been as memorable and fun without your presence :)

Thanks to Jeremy and Rachel for creating these gorgeous and tasty cakes with the Colour Fantastica logo on it. Thanks to the Fair Footsore for being such a fantastic venue with amazing food. Thanks to Boondog Photography for taking some of these wonderful photos!

To coincide with my buggering off to Japan for a month on Monday (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!) I’m running a month long probably one time only celebration of my new minicomic Dopplerganger! 

Until I get back on the 6th of April, if you order the 13pg + illustrations full colour sci fi lady B6 minicomic I’ll also sketch an ink an original bookplate to send with it! These will be done while I’m in Japan, making them extra special!

If you’re super lucky and picked up an early copy at FoTP, let me know and I’ll send you your own bookplate as thanks!

I’m really, really proud of this comic - it stretched so many things for me and was a real challenge and joy. I hope to keep making more that make me this happy!

Dearest Supporters, we hope you've been well! Big announcement!

LAUNCH DAY IS UPON US! We've managed to secure a most lovely venue - The Fair Foodstore, and organised drinks and food catering for the event. Books will be available for purchase*/pick-up and the event will run SATURDAY MARCH 7th from 4:30PM to 6:30PM.

All the artists will be in attendance (except Alisha Jade, who is unable to make it, but has still contributed to book signings). Drop by for a chance to meet & greet us and grab a copy of the book!

There is a Facebook Event Page outlining details of the launch. The website will also be updated with details. As mentioned, all backers are welcome to attend if they are able to, keep in mind that the venue will fit around 40-50 people comfortably and in the event there is an overflow, entry will be prioritised to VIPs/backers from the higher to lower tiers pledged.

We had a big Melbourne working bee in the city on a 38 degree Sunday! Team CF is now up in stock by a couple hundred glorious badges, and so many books with glorious bonus sketches for our high tier Kickstarter backers! Thanks Rebecca Hayes for the photo and the report :)

We've had a few questions come our way recently, so it seemed like a good time to make an FAQ. Here's a modest little FAQ we put together on our website, colourfantastica.com. If you have any other questions, shoot us a question through the Kickstarter, Facebook, Twitter, or indeed, this tumblr (we wouldn’t recommend leaving comments in the comments section of the page, because we get so much spam through the comments box we tend to delete pending comments without reading them ;_;)

So guess what's arrived?? The shipment of books have just come in!! All our bits and pieces for preparing the shipment to our Kickstarter backers are also slowly trickling in, so it's going to be a busy month or so leading up to the launch! 

And to say nothing of the books themselves! Pretty darn cool, if we don't say so ourselves.

A super-quick trip from Canberra to Sydney and back, managed to meet up with the Sydney artists Nadia, Sai, and Sam so they could give feedback on the sample book! (Sheree had work, so we couldn't meet up, boo.) Crazy amounts of travelling and everyone dashing to and fro, but so worth it. Currently updates are being made on the sample book. Stay tuned...

Hey guys! I’m opening preorders for a second print run of my Oxley and Zacria art book, Higher Love. I sold copies of this at SMASH this year, but I know a lot of people overseas were interested in obtaining a copy too!

Higher Love is 28pp + 4pp matte cello cover, full colour. $22usd each, available on my newly opened storenvy here!

Preorders will be open until the 23rd of November, 2014. Shipping of orders will begin in the first week of December 2014!

OH MY GOSH!

My printer is super amazingly spectacular and had my book printed way earlier than I thought, WOOO! This means PREORDERS BABY!

The VERY LIMITED preorder is up now at my store, the book features 27 original illustrations in copics over 20 full colour pages, and is hand stapled with love! The preorder will come with an artist ink sketch inside and will last until December 1st <3

I’m so proud of this artbook - it feels like my work has really improved this year and it turned out so beautifully!

It doesn’t have any fanart inside, but as always if you’re a Vasiliy Fet fan just pop ‘Fet’ in the buyer’s message and I’ll throw a Fetzine in for you as well!
