It’s extremely frustrating to me how Slay the Princess is one of the most inherently feminist games I’ve played, which is basically a litmus test to seeing if you can see this beautiful woman as a person even through the obstacles of your own personal desires and kinks. It basically asks the player to see if they are able to view this woman as human, and not just a vessel for their own fantasies.

… Y’all tell me why the entire fucking fandom failed this simple task besides, like, maybe five or so people. Like. Idk if it’s just because I’m asexual to hell and back, but it’s extremely saddening to see how little people actually view women the moment the very scent of kink comes along. We really need to have a conversation about how kink and sexuality doesn’t dehumanize or devalue women beyond the traits they envelop, and need to be coexistent with character development.
