Fueled in part by my rather blatant allergic reaction to most pointless social scenarios, such as the bar scene. Are we talking an actual dingy sports bar, or the kind of upscale establishments I tend to scope out when I am seducing investment bankers?”

Colton scoffed, but with an amused grin. "Don't worry, dollface, I'll be the one doing all the interacting. I will leave you to the plotting. I'm better at the actions than the planning anyway." He considered her question a moment, racking his brain for an idea. "Upscale establishments? I can't say I'm familiar. Do tell."

“I am pleased to hear of your ‘corruption’ of religious women,” a bemused eye roll followed her words. “People are ignorant as fuck more often than not, Colt. I apologize for not frothing at the mouth when it comes to interacting with most of them. As fun as it may be to have people turn to run from you with their tail between their legs, I tend to weigh out that enjoyment with my general irritability.”

"You say corruption, I say enlightenment." Colton remained unaffected by her response. "The ignorant ones are all the more fun to fuck with. Might as well channel that annoyance into something entertaining, at least. Otherwise, there's just no outlet."

It was more so in terms of her incessant brain dead blabbering.” A shrug easily followed, decorating her shoulders with the nonchalant gesture. “Shots. Aimlessly tossing money on a bar counter. What is not to like? That is, other than other people whom also align the barside.”

"But that doesn't make her much different than most people, now does it? I welcome the opportunity to be the one scaring away." He grinned mischeviously. "I dated this church girl once. She was not a fan - until I got done with her, that is." Colt chuckled, shaking his head at her in pure amusement. "You and your anti-social attitude. Are you telling me you don't enjoy scaring people off?"

“I get the feeling she is more of the stands outside your place watching you for seven hours straight versus has access to your records, kind of stalker. Either way, she could be fun. Stage a murder. Frame her. Scar her for life,” Jayde shrugged– as if this was a perfectly average scheme to suggest. “I will ignore the rest of your quaint attempt to wound my ego, because you mentioned shots.”

"In my experience, they are usually one in the same. Either way, stalkers don't scare me. Plus that barista was kind of cute." He rubbed his chin at her suggestion, considering the options. "But now that you mention it, I could have a little fun with her. I can make a list of how to ruin her life and narrow down the choices." Colt shook his head. "I don't think your ego is capable of damage. But you should know, shots are my go-to."
