I’ve been working on my MomoHaru analysis and I thought I’d dedicate a post detailing how my format is going to work so people know what parts to look out for and the likes. I just want to state here that I am 100% open for discussion, public or private. As long as it is a proper argument with a valid point and not just someone screaming ship hate/love at me. Lastly, I tend to dislike a lot of things because I am incredibly critical which is why I am stating my personal opinion separate from my objective analysis. There will be parts of a character/ship that I can like/respect whilst still disliking the ship/character.
I accept requests for character analysis and relationship analysis. I mentioned ‘ship’ in the lower section of this post but I will also analyse relationships from a platonic or antagonistic view point as well if you so desire. Just state whether you want romantic/platonic/antagonistic.
CHARACTER ANALYSIS
I will first state my opinion on them as a person and them as a character.
Then I will talk about their contribution to the overall plot. What it would’ve been like without them; what they brought to the table that other characters wouldn’t; their overall importance.
After that, I will delve into their platonic, antagonistic and romantic relationships. I will talk about the dynamics that I liked/thought worked well and the dynamics that I didn’t.
Finally, I will talk about their personal journy throughout the fiction and what I thought of their character arc in general. Ending with a summary of my favourite quotes from that charcter.
SHIP ANALYSIS
I will first state my personal opinion on the ship.
Then I will split up the characters within the ship and talk about them individually. This allows me to talk about the character’s opinion on each other and what they would gain from the relationship. I will also analyse their personal situations, past grievances, inner turmoils etc.
Next, I will talk about their interactions within canon and any extra content. I will split it up into what I percieve as romantic, platonic, suggestive, antagonistic and emotionless. I will talk about their dynamic and how well they compliment each other.
Afterwards, I will talk about the ship outside of the media. What I would view their future to be if they were a couple. I will talk about the implications on the other characters that this relationship would have.
so lately I’ve been dealing with the worst case of writer’s block that I’ve ever had lmao. I tried to alleviate the situation by just not forcing it and kind of just avoiding writing for a while but nothing has come to the surface. So, I have decided that the way through my writer’s block is to take a step back from the one-shot stuff and do some writing for my favourite topic.
CHARACTER ANALYSATION & SHIP ANALYSATION
I will probably start off by analysing some of the characters and their relationhsips from Danganronpa. I will be taking requests from that fandom and others as well. Feel free to request a character to analyse, an anime, a movie or a platonic/romantic relationship. I’m really ecited for this and I hope y’all will be too!!
as much as I’m excited for something new from Cheritz, I am kinda worried that it’s not going to be my thing. From the likes of “no bad ends” and the e-boyfriend style game, it seems that Cheritz is going in a completely different direction.
although this IS Cheritz, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up pulling the rug from underneath us. even if it ends up being something I don’t like, I’m sure it’ll still be an amazing
1, favourite character? that’s a tie between Jumin and Yoosung. They both have such good development arcs? They were written really nicely. I love them a lot. I COULD EXPLAIN IN LOTS MORE DETAIL if you want! Just send another ask, :0.
4, favourite chat background? I think the glitchiness and the cracked screen you get when Saeran takes over the messenger is really cool.
16, favourite after ending? Yoosung’s. It felt a lot more real than the others? And it was so satisfying to see him actually achieve his goals and be who he wants to be.

After my last entrepreneurial expedition fell through, I came to realize that I needed to accept where my strengths and passions lie. Writing. So, I’ve cleared some time up so I can explore this. I’m almost eighteen and I really need to start getting serious, ‘cause damn is schooling expensive. I’m going to start uploading more and more writing. I’m going to do drabbles, multi-chaptered fics and requests. I’m going to continue with mystic messenger, but also expand more into danganronpa, a few other fandoms, and original content as well. (heck, I’ll probably write for any fandom you want if you give me time to get into it, haha)
I’m going to be participating in @choitwins-week so feel free to wait until then to properly gauge my content frequency. Although, I plan to do daily content consistently as soon as I get some traction. Which brings me to this, I have started a patreon so I can properly fulfil my passion. SPOILER WARNING: Light spoilers for Ray Route (not good/normal end) && heavy spoilers for Bad Relationship End 2
This is based on BRE2 and my own personal theories.
This wasn’t how it was supposed to end. They’d mused many times that it felt like a movie. The hackers, the cult, the incredibly attractive men and women. They’d work through the obsession, the abuse and the mental torture; they’d leave with their heart full. MC would reunite the brothers, get everyone the help they needed and live happily ever after. . .
That was until they were locked in a cell, with Saeran towering over them. Huh? Weren’t they passed the abuse? Was this just a cover so they could escape together? Why were words so hard to form? An aching bounced through their head, scrambling every single thought into a nonsensical mess.
“Saeran?” Their voice came out croaky and hoarse. It sounded similar to the way Saeran sounded right after taking. . . No. No way. There was no way he would’ve let that happen. “. . .Here. Drink this. It’s a sleeping med. Take it, and take a nap for just a little while.” MC didn’t have the mental strength to decline or to ask what he said before. Their fingers brushed against each other as MC took the liquid, desperate for something to soothe their raw throat. Saeran reacted to the physical contact in a way that did nothing to calm their nerves; he flinched.
Drinking the liquid was magical. It was comparable to ambrosia. Every sip coated their throat with a velvet lining of sweetness. They could drink it forever and still crave more. Unfortunately, it lasted no more than a few seconds before they felt their eyelids grow heavy.
As soon as they forced their eyelids opened, they slammed them shut once more. The bright yellow-tinted lights were too much for a pounding headache. Why did their head hurt so much? What did Saeran do to--! Wait! Slowly, but forcibly, they opened their eyes once more. Once again, MC found themselves sleeping in a bed that wasn’t theirs. Only this time, they didn’t remember how they got there. Standing up slowly, they made their way over to their phone to message Saeran, or V, or even Rika at this point, and ask what the hell was going on.
Aha! A chatroom.
YOOSUNG*: “Failed my midterms fml”
What? Midterms were still two months away! This was getting more than a little concerning... They began to type a reply but an influx of messages caused the chatroom to go flying. Deciding to wait for a lull in the conversation, MC didn’t say anything. That was until they began questioning who they were. ‘They don’t recognise me? I have the same username and the same picture! What is going on? This has got to be a joke right? Is it a test to see if I’ll play along?’
EMCEE: Can someone please|
EMCEE: Guys, I don’t|
EMCEE: Hello???|
EMCEE: “Hello..”
The response to their simple greeting was alarming. The RFA continued to go back and forth with conspiracy theories, tension and talks about Rika. It wasn’t until “Rika’s apartment” that MC started to pay close attention. Why on earth would Rika want them at her apartment? For now, they needed to play it cool. Whatever Rika wanted would soon be revealed, for now MC just had to work on uncovering secrets without getting everyone suspicious.
As long as Saeran is okay, everything will be fine. Being at Rika’s apartment was not going to stop them from their happy ending. No way in hell.

33- my first route was actually Seven’s? I already heard a lot about the game and heard there was a deeper mystery involved, so after failing the common route (because,,, Jumin) I went straight for Seven’s and got the good end.
34- My first impression of the game would be described as “pleasantly surprised.” I hadn’t had an ounce of interest in the romance genre of anything, but upon playing through the first few days, I quickly fell for all of the quirks of the characters.
40- I started playing it a while ago. I don’t know if I can pinpoint exactly but near the end of 2016 maybe? I’ve been playing it for longer than a year at least ^^.
Same here! I thought it was gonna be a snoozefest at first since I wasn’t really into text-heavy games like visual novels/dating sims at that point in time (although now I am into text-heavy stuff thanks to Doki Doki Literature Club), and I was also like “meh, romance…I could take it or leave it” (I never cared about otome games before that and I felt kinda lame for playing one at first), but boy am I glad I stuck with it! The intricate plot and fantastic characterization is amazing. 👌🏻
And I got the Good End on my first try of Seven’s route too :D I’ve gotten the Good End on my first try for all the routes I’ve done so far (which is only Yoosung, Seven, and Jumin). I plan to do Zen’s route next, and then Ray’s Route c: Gotta stock up on hourglasses first tho~
Yeah, I can definitely agree with you there. I wouldn’t have dreamed writing an actual fanfic of an otome game back then, but since then I’ve played soo many visual novels. My favourite otome being Cheritz’s very own Nameless: TOYMR. Cheritz is a pretty great company overall and their characters are just fantastic.
Hah, same here. Although, I am a heavy completionist so I spent a lot of money getting all the endings.
