âTohâ âBeâ?â âBohâ âBahâ is a full conversation in italian
literally what in the hell does this mean
It would be something along the lines of:
Person A:âLook whoâs there!â Person B:âSo?â (Implied: How is it going?) Person A:âI donât knowâ And at this point Person B makes a noise to express their disapproval of the vague answer.
.
those posts like "i wish platonic 'i love yous' were socially acceptable đ" are so bizarre to me like...do your friends not say i love you?? are yall okay???
italians be like: yeah we have a word for platonic love but what if i just promise you eternal *love* love instead and then call you a skunk?
The French made their own word to say computer but couldn't make a word to say weekend???? What kind of dumbassery:///
Alternate universe where I literally just to go to school forever (for free) so I can just learn about art and literature and history and languages for 100 years. No job skills. No credit requirements. No student loans. Just learning.
(for @cadernodaju) coucou tout le monde! Â Basically this is an outline of what basic grammar/vocabulary you should know at each CEFR level, but as a disclaimer I would like to note that I am not fluent in the French language. Everything from C1-C2 is what Iâve heard speakers say they study at that level, it is not from experience since I am only at around a B2 myself. Also, this is but a brief outline for REVIEW, if you are studying any of these French levels for the first time I reccommend you visit my more in depth french posts here (x) (x) or my posts/french tag

a 2-years age gap is not abusive. a relationship between a 17 years old and a 19 years old is perfectly normal. stop being shitty to strangers

Things that need to stop - non Italians please read
- The romanticization of mafia. Seriously, stop it. Stop with your âmafia!characterâ, âmafia auâ and all that shit. You wouldnât do a âku klux klan auâ so fucking stop that.
- Thinking that Italy is⊠stuck in the 20s? Like, when my best friend went to the US they asked her if we have computers. An example:
- Also on this topic, the imagery of Italy as a countryside where all we do is drink wine while viewing the sunset wearing long dresses.. likeâŠ.. that Italy literally does not exist.
- Pony and Bologna do not fucking rhyme. Youâre just mispronouncing (by a lot) Bologna.
- Spaghetti is plural, the singular is spaghetto. âSpaghetti noodlesâ makes no sense (itâs like chai tea).
- Alfredo sauce is not italian. Neither is chicken broccoli pasta or 99% of the âitalianâ stuff you cook. Nope, we donât have mac and cheese, and if you ask for a âpepperoniâ pizza in Italy youâre going to get bell peppers.
- Italians arenât poc. I donât even want to explain this.
- About this, racism works differently in Europe than the states. In Italy some of the âracesâ that face the worst discrimination are people from east Europe. All of them are usually paler than most italians, and they have blue or green eyes and blonde hair. And they still get discriminated.
- We donât kiss people in the cheeks as a greeting. We just barely touch the cheeks together (sometimes they donât even touch) while making a kissing sound. Also usually a man and a woman just shake hands.
