Has anyone else noticed that youtube has been implementing sneaky little tricks in order to keep us on the app longer.

Like when you're scrolling on your homepage the little navigation bar disappears so that if you want to go to your notifications or your profile you have to scroll back up. -forceing you to spend longer on the app than you would have if the bar was like it used to be.

Or when the full title of a video only displays when you tap on the video and then tap on the description. -meaning if you want the title to a video you have to be on the app longer than you used to.

The combination of thumbnails being bigger, half the videos youtube shows are shorts, the shitton of random ass posts, means you have to scroll more to have access to the same amount of content.
