Big Whitetail fan here. the hoof laser is a hangup of mine too. we knew that the stones were magic-y and fantastical but straight up shooting a glowing green laser out of her hoof takes me out of the comic a bit. the comic has fairly tame anthropomorphism (animals can't even cry unless effected by the bad) with nothing else dramatically unnatural and then.. suddenly she's fuckin Danny Phantom

First of all I fucking called it. All ronja had to do was say SOWWY And now she and Ferah are besties. IN JUST TWO FUCKING PANELS! Second of all, it always bothered me how Ferah didn't even BOTHER talking to Fjordor to change his mind and not report Kargo. She just fucking accepted his decision as the undisputed law. She KNOWS he has PTSD why didn't she stand up for him? If she gotta feel betrayed by anyone, it's by Fjordor. He CAN JUST NOT REPORT THEM!?
