Sorry for being dead lol

I’ve been crazy busy this week starting school again as well as a couple other obligations I’ve had, so I don’t really have a lot of complete art as of right now.

I forget to post a lot because I’m not really a big fan of the PC version of Tumblr and the “blog” I have on my phone is just a burner account that I use to lurk on (same goes for my pretty much dead Reddit account.) It’s just a lot of work and IDK if it is just me but I have to like, MENTALLY prepare myself to post stuff.

I do want to be more active though. Since I have nothing really special at the moment, I’ll be posting WIPS, sketches, and basically stuff that’s just been sitting in my computer collecting dust. Some of it looks okay, some of it doesn’t, it’s just to fill the void. It’ll also show some of the other fandoms I’m in (for better or for worse, lol.)

If anyone has a suggestion they want me to do, if I find the time and actually remember to check when I come back on here, I’ll see what I can do. I wouldn’t say I have art block, it’s more like “concepts that are way above my skill level and I demand perfection out of myself so I don’t do it out of fear of failure,” or something like that.

“Painting” test part 1/?

So I came across a YT video that showed a coloring technique that I just fell in love with, that mimics that comicbook-esque style I’m super fond of. My main focus this time around was just the face, but next time I’ll work on the clothes too. This wasn’t my first attempt, but this was my first attempt with a darker skin tone because the tutorial didn’t really go into it and I wanted to practice. Also I just wanted an excuse to draw Sombra.   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apologies for the pixelation/poor resolution, I sketch like, microscopically and enlarge it for the lineart, but I didn’t do that since this was just me practicing . Once I get with my new schedule and find the time for it I’ll make an actually well-drawn and rendered piece.

Last thing since the last time I posted something about Overwatch I forgot to mention it, I don’t approve of Blizzard whatsoever and won’t financially support them. I’ll still enjoy Overwatch and the community, though.
