This season in Umpires of America
Home runs ruled fair/and in play /or foul when actually it's a pretty obvious homerun. ::cough:: Andrew Benitendi ::cough cough:: Losing track of balls and strikes during live play. Pausing live play to call home office to check. Balls and Strikes. Or shall I say whatever the ump feels like should happen. Integrity of balls and strikes after the sixth inning. Impacting the game in a noticeable way with their underperforming or selfish shenanigans. Also as a side note can I mention how much I hate the increased arrogance of the umpires since replay was installed? Just because you have a system to check wrong calls doesn't mean the system itself is actually working right. When they call NY they're calling more people in their union, more umpires, to make an "unbiased" call. I call bullsh-t. Should I go on?
