FAKE FILM MEME: a 30’s adaptation of Hamlet set in the circus (requested by just-another-pilot-down)

HAWKS AND HANDSAWS: After the death of the ringleader of Denmark’s finest travelling circus troop (Christoph Waltz), the ringleader’s brother, Claude (Terrance Stamp), quickly marries Trudy (Reese Witherspoon), his brother’s deceased wife. However tensions arise when the deceased ringleader’s son, Hamlet (Robert Pattinson) claims to see his father’s ghost and begins a relationship with Lia (Imogen Poots), the willowy, equestrian daughter of Paul (Micheal Shannon), a clown  and Claude’s right-hand man.

FAKE FILM MEME: Sophie Turner and Charlie Hunnam in a romantic (comedy) requested by gipsyydangerr

AUGUSTA'S PEAK - Anna (Sophie Turner) left Augusta's Peak, Pennsylvania for good three months after she graduated from high school. Armed with a BFA in grapic design and coffee-fueled ambition, she made a new life for herself in New York City four years later. Maybe it wasn't the life she had dreamed about when she was sixteen and doodling patterns into her notebook, but if Anna held it up as a measuring stick against Augusta's Peak, population 9,281, she knew which one came out on top every time. Apartment, check. Decent weather, check. Dates with people whose soiled Spiderman underwear she didn't see in preschool, check. But when grandfather- who raised her after her parents passed away- dies of a heart attack, Anna finds herself back in Augusta's Peak for the summer to manage his affairs. She also, inevitably, has to deal with Chris (Charlie Hunnam), the valedictorian of her high school class who now works as a mechanic in the local autoshop. If Chris’ battle with his own demons lead him to never leave Augusta’s Peak, well, he’d rather not talk about it. And if Anna had a hopeless crush on Chris in high school and made out with him that one time at a pool party senior year when they were both drunk, well, she has her own things she doesn't want to talk about.

BLUE, RED, AND GREY - Mal Lacan (Mia Wasikowska), a twentysomething grad student, up and left her dorm room six months ago leaving behind only a bud of bible pressed passiflora. Her father, Albert Lacan (Francois Cluzet), a failed academic, and her boyfriend Simon Cairney (Adam Driver), an aficionado of white wine, pot, and Sartre, spend their days aimlessly searching for her. Once a month both Albert and Simon receive an unmarked postcard from a different Irish city, though due to an implaceable sense of guilt, neither look too deeply into them or reach out to each other. A study in grief, identity, and self-discovery, Blue, Red, and Grey tells the story of acceptance as the Sisyphean path to happiness.
