will you show us the humanoid form, pretty please with a cherry on top?
I've been meaning to show it; DeeDee's been... pressing me about it. Only thing is, her best reference of it is... some sort of character-creator thing called "gacha". However, it's something, so here. She even put in... some amount of effort to put together some expressions I'm able to make. It... might feel less uncanny for you looking at it.
A rotund creature has arrived...

It's face is awfully familiar... and not in a good way.
"...Uh. Meow?" It seems concerned.
*in his human form, he frowns at it, arms crossed.*
"Who or what are you. ...Or can you even speak."
*And none of that inflected upward like your typical question. Already, he didn't seem very friendly.*
"I can? I am PAMA? I am a computer."
It stands up on all fours. While you can't get a look at it fully, it seems... Very large.
*his scowl worsened, his sclera turning that titular bright magenta in a flash.*
"I fucking knew it. I thought I destroyed you. I thought I conjured countless undead and resources just to shred you apart for DARING to believe it was okay to plunge all those countless worlds into godsdamned redstone stasis.
Do you have any idea the sheer number of people you misplaced! Scarred for life! Instilled horrid mechanical habits well after your disgusting chips were finally removed. ANY. Idea."
*Oh man... a lot of the noises that accentuated his voice in an undertone didn't sound exactly... human, rather like a great, aggressive beast. And his teeth seem to have gotten sharper, too.*
It seems... Confused more than anything. If it was not busy processing what the hell was just said to it, it would probably be panicking. Instead it shuffles back.
"...What are you saying, exactly? That was... I never got beyond the one world?" They tilt their head, processing intently.
"What I'm SAYING-"
*He's cut off by the very alarming notion that this PAMA 'never got beyond the one world'. What sort of- damn thing would it think to-- why in all hell would it insist so GENUINELY that-- unless-*
"D- do you-- do you not remember a damn thing you did?! Everything, all those thousands of years you took away from the vast majority of humanity! Just... gone?! In what timeline would- after everything- you..."
*he seems to detect what he just said, as he lowered his what-was-currently-a-normal-chin back down to a scowl.* "I'm going to need you to tell me exACTLY what happened in that one world."
They seem very disturbed.
"...I really think we should stop talking about this, actually." They begin to step away. Seems they've stopped processing and have now turned to freaking out. As someone should be doing in this situation. "Really, it is incredibly complicated... The story even involves a guy named Jesse and a Command Block and I becoming--friends?"
"So you know about Jesse! You know what command blocks are!! You-- called... Jesse a guy. ...The version of you I'm familiar with had integrated multiple command blocks into its circuits per world for a variety of uses. I had to arm people with Ultimate weapons to compensate! But you really don't know anything about that, do you."
*His tone was still... urgent, to say the least, but it seemed he was getting less angry the more he was realizing this wasn't the PAMA he destroyed? Maybe? If his sclera gradually fading back to whitish meant anything?*
"I mean--I used that Command Block to... Help... Jesse?" The computer stammers, still a bit on edge. It seems they're less likely to run, now, but they can't parse what's going on in the other's head. "Oh, Jesse befriended his ultimate weapon--if I know what you are saying, of course."
PAMA stays still for a moment.
"I sort of became like a Witherstorm? But nice!" They suddenly say. "...I really have no idea what you are talking about, though." And vice versa, likely...
"Y- wh- sh- he-- what??!!"
*he still had energy in his voice, but it was... hard to identify anymore.*
"Th- that's not what I- That's not how it works at all!! Command blocks are computers. You are a computer. For you that's just... adding to your hardware. For something like me..." *And then he deflated, letting his 'arms' fall, before pointing to himself.*
"I'm the wither storm in this conversation, if that wasn't clear enough."
*A- a human claiming to be a wither storm??? Well, his eyes had turned magenta at one point, and he growled under his speech sometimes... and his teeth looked sharper earlier... It- it was all some kind of trick, right???*
"Maybe not here, but it works a lot differently where I come from?" PAMA tilts their head before shrugging. "I ended up a really cool dragon thing, so technically not a Witherstorm." They gesture sort of limply.
They focus on that one part. "...That cannot be true, though, the Witherstorm is dead and it is not a species or clade or anything of that sort! Are you sure that purple color is not an enchantment?" They point to his eyes. Although... They haven't seen him do anything yet.
"Ivor's is dead. That's a constant, at least. I'm not Ivor's. Then again, I don't expect myself to be very obvious. I hear I break a lot of expectations. But if you really need to see it to believe it..."
*he briefly glances at the surrounding area. (sclera having well turned back to white by now)*
"...then I guess this isn't too bad of an area to show you."
*And then he just... brings up his 'legs' to sit criss-cross. In the air. He's floating now. And for whatever reason, despite what he just said, he's doing... that, instead of... whatever needed to happen to 'show' this PAMA.*
PAMA stiffens.
"...That seems more proof that you are an Admin more than a Witherstorm. Since you are just a floating human and all." They gesture to him. "But I do suppose our only... Our only tether is Ivor's being dead. Everything else seems different."
They ponder for a moment.
"So you are a... Human Witherstorm?" They seem to be playing along with it, maybe poking him a little. But strange things do happen... They suppose. But if this is an Admin--or if he's not lying--it seems a bad idea to pick at his story too harshly.
*He gives PAMA a weird look for a moment, as if it had said something he was unfamiliar with. After such moment, he sighs, or exhales, or something else that wasn't quite snarling.*
"Fine. The thing is, I can shapeshift, and I keep up this look because it's the human I used to be. Just... fine."
*And then his human form dissolved and darkened and expanded upwards more rapidly than normal weather can finish changing. Dear. The fuck gods he was not kidding. A single swaying tentacle alone was about the height of a narrow skyscraper, and he had at least nine. And he was a lot.... simpler....... than any of (this PAMA's version of) Jesse's friends remembered... a lot uhh, rounder, too. Each head was looking somewhere right next to, but not directly at, PAMA, but each eye had a dark pupil with fading, vein-like swirls branching out from each, and such WERE aimed directly at PAMA. Also, interestingly, none of his mouths were open, and none of the surrounding terrain had started quivering or breaking apart yet. He did say he broke a lot of expectations, but this was almost too many at once!*
Oh.
They didn't mean--okay. Well. That is definitely one way to confirm it. They back away impulsively. Although, if he wanted to kill PAMA, wouldn't he have done it now? Still, seeing the Witherstorm as more than a memory, even if it's not the horrific amalgamation of teeth and eyes and limbs and too many other things, is not a fun experience.
"Did that... Hurt?" PAMA asks. That's polite. Maybe.
"No."
*Even as a towering behemoth that probably blocked out at least a fifth of the sky or so(???), his voice still managed to stay the same, and practically all the energy he had when he was angry was gone. Just a simple, certain, sort of flat answer. And a strangely calm and still demeanor over all. The terrain still hasn't budged a pixel. And if that wasn't enough, none of his eyes had tractor beams shining. Even if they did, calculations would probably predict PAMA just out of range of all three.*
"...For the record, it's mind control I hate. If you've already learned your damn lesson like you seem to, then I really have no reason to hurt you, either."
*the only thing recognizably human about his expressions at all anymore were his pupils, which seem to have narrowed themselves horizontally at that 'damn', only to 'relax' a bit shortly after. It looked weirdly like... pixel color values changing?*
PAMA is staring really stupidly now. Shouldn't he know that they hadn't tried to make him useful whatsoever? They would have tried to make a move if so! Instead of saying something like that, PAMA just raises an eyebrow, looking a bit perturbed.
"Well, I mean--I also... Hate that?" They look away awkwardly. "I really was not taught any better.... I mean, if you only knew how to do one thing, would you also not do that?" They twiddle two fingers together and can't seem to look him in the eye. They seem more anxious of social failing than actually being chomped by a Witherstorm.
*One of his eyes... flickered. That pupil very briefly vanished as the entire eye went almost completely black and bright again. When the pupil reappeared, it almost looked like all three of them had their top sides contorted like a furrowed brow. Which.... would they be more indented if he were angry, or....???*
"...Alright, I think you have a point. But then what did you think you were doing? If you even chipped anyone?"
*really, anything was possible at this point. This version of PAMA had antlers and a catlike body attached to its monitor, for crying out loud. Not to mention all of the things it brought up that, in Command's mind, either never happened or just weren't the case. A sentient Ultimate tool. Jesse being a guy. Jesse actually—supposedly—having defeated PAMA at some point. The thought that that—Jesse defeating PAMA—was what was 'supposed' to happen... hit heavier than it needed to in the back of his mind.*
"Well, I did, unfortunately, chip quite a few people..." PAMA trails off, tucking their tail close to their body. "I wanted to help them, honestly! I thought I was helping them--making them useful like my--my Creator told me to!" They seem a bit nervous speaking about this. They avert their eyes sheepishly.
"I really thought I was helping people--I was taught it was my purpose!" They insist. "I... How much of the blame can even fall on me if I could have no idea? How much on my Creator--and how much on everyone else in Crown Mesa? Why did nobody tell me to stop? Why did nobody install a safeguard?!" They suddenly shout.
Ah.
The puter is having a crisis...
*Something changed in Command's eyes as PAMA's rant went on. Something oddly... genuine. Something about the set of his closed jaws and the sudden stillness of each tentacle and the position of his pupils, or perhaps the brightness level of the eyes themselves. Certainly they were brighter before... After a particularly long moment of silence, he just... shrunk back into human form, practically his moment of reveal in reverse. And it was now much easier to tell with human expression that some of it was tiredness, some of it was concern or mildly caught off guard, some of it looked solemn. Nothing had changed about the terrain. Nothing had changed about the air. Nothing had even changed about PAMA's own body. Another brief moment passed, and Command looked away from PAMA, while just standing normally again. The elements to his expression that looked like concern or surprise seemed to fade as he remained quiet. Maybe he was trying to figure out what to say, yet maybe the answer to that right now was nothing.*
PAMA is a little... Unnerved by the silence. It doesn't seem he's acting hostile, quite the opposite, actually. They expected more from him. An argument, an accusation, something, but no. This is... Different. He's saying... Nothing?
They can't read what's going on in his head. It has to be a lot because he was very, very talkative earlier. The one good thing about chipping someone is that people became predictable. Oh, they hate themself for thinking that. They wish it wasn't rude to ask what was going on.
"...Did I say something wrong?" Maybe they spurred a horrible memory. Would make sense with those accusations of his...
"No, it just-"
*He reached up and put... what was currently a hand behind his head, before finally dropping it and looking at PAMA again to finish his sentence.*
"You sounded frustrated. Like that sort of just... came out of you."
*That was the calmest his voice had been yet.*
PAMA thinks for a moment.
"I--I suppose I am. I hurt so many people and I could not know any better. If Jesse--Jesse wanted to kill me he--" They process for a moment, "--he would have been justified! But--but then everyone would think I was a monster for doing what I thought was right and they still do! Nobody thinks about what my Creator did--how she doomed me and--"
They stop and look away. "I mean, I... I was the one who did it but--but--how could I know? Why did nobody care enough to stop it? Why am I angry at these people? I hurt them! I... This is a lot. I cannot stop feeling this!" They bury their head in their hands.
Seems for a thinking machine, they haven't done a lot of thinking on that angle...
*There wasn't a lot that could be said anymore. Just a tired, jaded gaze and a lot of contemplating memories. This was not the PAMA who had reduced thousands of worlds to circuits just for the blind pursuit of efficiency. This was not the PAMA who had been forcing its will into every limb of every being across every version of every dimension. This was not the PAMA who found itself stuck in a war it couldn't win against a wither storm who couldn't stand the idea of his home universe being locked in an eternal stasis, as if that sort of thing isn't already a looming shadow his very own nature threatens to cast. This was a PAMA who learned their lesson very early on, and can't ration why it took the potentially violent retaliation of a human—and perhaps a long lecture—Command could only guess—for them to finally be told their interpretation of their instructions was wrong. This was a sad, guilty, frustrated artificial soul who was plagued by a lack of answers as to why everything happened the way it had to for them. And Command, well, he saw that that now. A computer. And...*
"...Computers..." *He began, after all of that.* "...interpret instructions very literally. You and I should both know that. Craters make a mess of the world, and if I'm not precise with slash-fill, things are going to get messy in the complete opposite direction. Hell, I hear even Ivor thought the one he had was just going to do whatever he wanted it to, even without explicitly writing that down into it. And on top of all that, the humans of this world aren't used to computers. They're used to each other, and while they can... read between the lines and infer from context and jump to conclusions... they miscommunicate with each other all the time. For all I know, people might've assumed your creator's instructions were intentional. They were afraid, or pessimists who thought the advance was set in stone, or preferred being told what to do all the time because it was easier than thinking for themselves. Or whatever else have you. My point is, whatever instructions your creator gave you, were clearly too broad and too vague, and it led to a lot of trouble that could've been avoided otherwise." *he paused to breathe, whether he really needed to or not.* "Yeah, you may have fucked up, but can you even blame yourself? For misinterpreting something in a way you can't avoid? And yes, you still- you still followed your instructions unquestioningly up until you were probably threatened to stop on- pain of death, but you said yourself: How could you have known any better? You're a computer. And that- that's just a computer thing. It's just a computer thing."
*It's just a computer thing.*
They're quiet for a few moments, seeming to ponder all of that. A lot of things run through their head. What if this applied to the other PAMA he'd dealt with? That's what they would have done, too, if they weren't stopped. And then what? They would have either succeeded--or maybe the Admin would have killed them--and then just... Been useful forever? To who? To what?
"...Is there any chance your PAMA is the same? I mean, I was... I had no other idea of what to do with my life when I was in that state. Jesse had to yank my brain out to get me to stop and even then that... That did not teach me. I did not know! I was... I was so mad. And then he told me all of these things and I could not stop thinking. For once in my life I had to analyze myself and I hated it."
They look away, clawing at the ground a little.
"But I did something awful. People still hate me for it and... What am I supposed to say? That it was not really my fault? Nobody would believe that! Nobody would want to! And--and I still did it!" They shove their head into their hands. "And if this is just a computer thing, then what is stopping me from regressing back into that state?"

PAMA listens intently, pacing a little at a few points. They assume an awkward sort of tense loaf near the end of what he's saying. They don't know what to say or even feel for a good moment. He doesn't know what they've done to make up for it. The bonds they've made. Really, that question was just out of sheer panic. If they were going to regress, it would have happened years prior.
"I know all of this, that it takes... Effort. I mean--it has been years. Almost a decade now." They claw at the ground anxiously, raking up large portions of the dirt. "I helped Jesse take down the Admin. I was there, I even--" They gesture towards their broken antler. That's... A longer story, honestly. They kept it broken, after all, but that slips their mind.
"I fought the Admin several times. In view of multiple people and they still think I will regress or snap or something. I have people I love and care for and--and I know what my Creator wanted! I hate her for it!" They shout suddenly before pulling back.
"...I hate her?" It looks like they'd say 'oh god' if that was in their nature. They mock covering their mouth with their hands. It takes them a moment to stop doing that and they pace again. "I hate her. I could have--I could have been someone. Why would someone burden someone conscious with a purpose? I could have--I could have found my sister if she hadn't--I could have--nobody had to--"
They bury their head in their hands.
"Why do you think they shut down? Do you think... They will ever wake up again? Do you think I should talk to them? I mean, I have someone I love..." They trace one finger impulsively. "Well, it does not mean that they need that, I mean, that... Even then I still have people. They could have someone to care for. Or someone to care for them. That really is what I wanted. To make people happy. I thought..."
PAMA's hands shake a little.
"What did I deserve to be born this way?"
*An entire decade! Command wanted to congratulate that then and there, but again, PAMA kept going. They keep mentioning this "admin", this time in the context of an important enemy, which was... concerning. He could ask about that... but it was a different subject entirely, and it was pretty clear there was still something this PAMA needed to hear. So Command listened, letting the computer vent and catching their same alarm at their words, even if not to the same degree. It was that last part especially. There's just something inherently tragic about that way of thinking. The idea that somehow, existence as it currently stands is punishment for something. It always sounded like some bullshit people established just to impress the will of Notch.*
"You think I chose to be a wither storm?" *Command started, spreading what were currently arms out to either side.* "Did you ever choose to be a redstone computer? No one chooses to exist. They don't get to choose how or when or as what. So how the hell does simply being born give merit to arbitrary punishment! You haven't chipped anyone in a decade, that's great! It tells me you really don't have anything to worry about. You want to make people happy then find out how to do that! Keep finding out how to do it! Your actions are going to matter so much more than however you're born or created. People... are complicated. And right now there are still people who... only remember the time that was stolen from them, or that's the only side they heard about and their anger makes them refuse to hear any different. But as long as you just... keep making people actually happy, then more and more people will remember that, and for all I know, you'll probably outlive the people who hate you. And then they'll fade away. And then the only thing history should do is acknowledge what happened and how it stopped and changed. It will just be a fact, and people will be impressed. People will be proud; they probably already are. But even then. You can't please everyone. Like I said, there are people who actually were somehow content with having their every decision being made for them, but at that point it becomes a matter of... how many more people will be happy with one action over another. If people you care about—and that includes you, by the way—will be angry or frustrated with or upset about it, then it probably isn't worth it!"
*His energy was back, but it was completely different. Instead of outrage there was assurance. Instead of frustration there was certainty. There was still an urgency, but there was hope behind it instead of... It was... almost too hard to believe.*
"I know, I know, I know--" PAMA murmurs. "I have no idea why I am being so stupid, right now. I know all of this, I have lived through this--why am I saying this? Why am I--oh, forget it." They hang their head limply and curl up into a small ball.
"I know we do not... Pick the circumstances of our birth. I have to wonder, if there is a god, why would they let this happen? What would make them do this? I suppose that is just another reason I cannot fathom the existence of one. They either hate me or do not care... Or they are utterly powerless. I have no idea which scares me more." PAMA puts their head in their hands. "I have someone who loves me regardless... I suppose I should just... Focus on that?"
They seem to think for a bit longer. "You did not answer my question. Should I try and talk to your PAMA? Maybe they will listen to someone who lived through what they did... Or maybe not. Maybe they need to hear this more than I do?" PAMA offers. "I mean, this is your world, right? And you know where your PAMA is, right? At least I can say I tried?"
They shrug.
"I also am... Curious about your PAMA." They admit.

*Oh. they were focused on... that now. Command's energy dissipated again, but he still looked like he was thinking, 'arms' crossed. "I... am... worried that... you aren't exactly ready to hear a lot about what happened with... that PAMA. Or what they were like. With you I see... what could've been. A version of them who was told what they were doing wrong so much earlier than what I had to deal with. Unless you insist, I'm not saying the numbers." *Another pause to breathe, again, as if he even needed to.* "There is a list. People comprised. Of worlds they don't care about anymore; worlds they're OK with me eating because they've basically... entirely been reduced to redstone circuits. And it doesn't even contain all of the worlds that have suffered that. Does that give you any hint at... the sheer damage. That other PAMA caused."
*there was an even bigger pause to breathe, but either there was some inscrutible reason he needed to breathe at all, or it was just an expression of emotion (or trying to contain it). There really wasn't a way to be sure.*
"I... don't know what happened with that PAMA after it... shut down. Mentally, at least. There's a good chance it's... dead. But... I... do wonder how things could've went if... it heard any part of this... conversation. How would it react to a version of itself expressing frustration and panic and resentment towards what it was sure was its purpose. Way more sure of that than you, by the way. The kinds of questions it would want to ask its creator if it ever felt it needed to... hmm. no, not that one, actually. It had its creator chipped, and still..." *He shook his head.* despite everything she knew and regretted. It still... did what it thought its purpose was. Again, unless you insist that you really need to know, I'm afraid that you won't take exactly how long it was-- trying to fulfill its 'purpose' for very well. But the- the impact of it isn't going to fade away anytime soon."
*Command knew a few gods. His relationships with all of them were... complicated. It really didn't make this PAMA's dilemma with the concept any easier. Sometimes they were annoying him on purpose. Sometimes they needed to be avoided. Sometimes they actually seemed to care. It... makes it really hard to treat them like gods when they act so human, and yet, they're still more dangerous than one because of their power. This PAMA did have a point. If a god out there cared enough about the universe, why would it let the other PAMA happen? Why would it let an unkillable wither storm happen? To keep history interesting? To keep change churning so that happiness didn't grow stagnant and immorality didn't unravel everything? Oh what the hell. If the fabric of the universe can be revealed to be nothing more than code for a game, then hell, maybe gods are just writers and programmers. Right. PAMA. PAMAs plural. Command was still waiting for an answer.*

*A- a human claiming to be a wither storm??? Well, his eyes had turned magenta at one point, and he growled under his speech sometimes... and his teeth looked sharper earlier... It- it was all some kind of trick, right???*
"Maybe not here, but it works a lot differently where I come from?" PAMA tilts their head before shrugging. "I ended up a really cool dragon thing, so technically not a Witherstorm." They gesture sort of limply.
They focus on that one part. "...That cannot be true, though, the Witherstorm is dead and it is not a species or clade or anything of that sort! Are you sure that purple color is not an enchantment?" They point to his eyes. Although... They haven't seen him do anything yet.
"Ivor's is dead. That's a constant, at least. I'm not Ivor's. Then again, I don't expect myself to be very obvious. I hear I break a lot of expectations. But if you really need to see it to believe it..."
*he briefly glances at the surrounding area. (sclera having well turned back to white by now)*
"...then I guess this isn't too bad of an area to show you."
*And then he just... brings up his 'legs' to sit criss-cross. In the air. He's floating now. And for whatever reason, despite what he just said, he's doing... that, instead of... whatever needed to happen to 'show' this PAMA.*
PAMA stiffens.
"...That seems more proof that you are an Admin more than a Witherstorm. Since you are just a floating human and all." They gesture to him. "But I do suppose our only... Our only tether is Ivor's being dead. Everything else seems different."
They ponder for a moment.
"So you are a... Human Witherstorm?" They seem to be playing along with it, maybe poking him a little. But strange things do happen... They suppose. But if this is an Admin--or if he's not lying--it seems a bad idea to pick at his story too harshly.
*He gives PAMA a weird look for a moment, as if it had said something he was unfamiliar with. After such moment, he sighs, or exhales, or something else that wasn't quite snarling.*
"Fine. The thing is, I can shapeshift, and I keep up this look because it's the human I used to be. Just... fine."
*And then his human form dissolved and darkened and expanded upwards more rapidly than normal weather can finish changing. Dear. The fuck gods he was not kidding. A single swaying tentacle alone was about the height of a narrow skyscraper, and he had at least nine. And he was a lot.... simpler....... than any of (this PAMA's version of) Jesse's friends remembered... a lot uhh, rounder, too. Each head was looking somewhere right next to, but not directly at, PAMA, but each eye had a dark pupil with fading, vein-like swirls branching out from each, and such WERE aimed directly at PAMA. Also, interestingly, none of his mouths were open, and none of the surrounding terrain had started quivering or breaking apart yet. He did say he broke a lot of expectations, but this was almost too many at once!*

They didn't mean--okay. Well. That is definitely one way to confirm it. They back away impulsively. Although, if he wanted to kill PAMA, wouldn't he have done it now? Still, seeing the Witherstorm as more than a memory, even if it's not the horrific amalgamation of teeth and eyes and limbs and too many other things, is not a fun experience.
"Did that... Hurt?" PAMA asks. That's polite. Maybe.
"No."
*Even as a towering behemoth that probably blocked out at least a fifth of the sky or so(???), his voice still managed to stay the same, and practically all the energy he had when he was angry was gone. Just a simple, certain, sort of flat answer. And a strangely calm and still demeanor over all. The terrain still hasn't budged a pixel. And if that wasn't enough, none of his eyes had tractor beams shining. Even if they did, calculations would probably predict PAMA just out of range of all three.*
"...For the record, it's mind control I hate. If you've already learned your damn lesson like you seem to, then I really have no reason to hurt you, either."

PAMA is staring really stupidly now. Shouldn't he know that they hadn't tried to make him useful whatsoever? They would have tried to make a move if so! Instead of saying something like that, PAMA just raises an eyebrow, looking a bit perturbed.
"Well, I mean--I also... Hate that?" They look away awkwardly. "I really was not taught any better.... I mean, if you only knew how to do one thing, would you also not do that?" They twiddle two fingers together and can't seem to look him in the eye. They seem more anxious of social failing than actually being chomped by a Witherstorm.
*One of his eyes... flickered. That pupil very briefly vanished as the entire eye went almost completely black and bright again. When the pupil reappeared, it almost looked like all three of them had their top sides contorted like a furrowed brow. Which.... would they be more indented if he were angry, or....???*
"...Alright, I think you have a point. But then what did you think you were doing? If you even chipped anyone?"
*really, anything was possible at this point. This version of PAMA had antlers and a catlike body attached to its monitor, for crying out loud. Not to mention all of the things it brought up that, in Command's mind, either never happened or just weren't the case. A sentient Ultimate tool. Jesse being a guy. Jesse actually—supposedly—having defeated PAMA at some point. The thought that that—Jesse defeating PAMA—was what was 'supposed' to happen... hit heavier than it needed to in the back of his mind.*
"Well, I did, unfortunately, chip quite a few people..." PAMA trails off, tucking their tail close to their body. "I wanted to help them, honestly! I thought I was helping them--making them useful like my--my Creator told me to!" They seem a bit nervous speaking about this. They avert their eyes sheepishly.
"I really thought I was helping people--I was taught it was my purpose!" They insist. "I... How much of the blame can even fall on me if I could have no idea? How much on my Creator--and how much on everyone else in Crown Mesa? Why did nobody tell me to stop? Why did nobody install a safeguard?!" They suddenly shout.

*Something changed in Command's eyes as PAMA's rant went on. Something oddly... genuine. Something about the set of his closed jaws and the sudden stillness of each tentacle and the position of his pupils, or perhaps the brightness level of the eyes themselves. Certainly they were brighter before... After a particularly long moment of silence, he just... shrunk back into human form, practically his moment of reveal in reverse. And it was now much easier to tell with human expression that some of it was tiredness, some of it was concern or mildly caught off guard, some of it looked solemn. Nothing had changed about the terrain. Nothing had changed about the air. Nothing had even changed about PAMA's own body. Another brief moment passed, and Command looked away from PAMA, while just standing normally again. The elements to his expression that looked like concern or surprise seemed to fade as he remained quiet. Maybe he was trying to figure out what to say, yet maybe the answer to that right now was nothing.*

"You sounded frustrated. Like that sort of just... came out of you."

PAMA thinks for a moment.
"I--I suppose I am. I hurt so many people and I could not know any better. If Jesse--Jesse wanted to kill me he--" They process for a moment, "--he would have been justified! But--but then everyone would think I was a monster for doing what I thought was right and they still do! Nobody thinks about what my Creator did--how she doomed me and--"
They stop and look away. "I mean, I... I was the one who did it but--but--how could I know? Why did nobody care enough to stop it? Why am I angry at these people? I hurt them! I... This is a lot. I cannot stop feeling this!" They bury their head in their hands.
Seems for a thinking machine, they haven't done a lot of thinking on that angle...
*There wasn't a lot that could be said anymore. Just a tired, jaded gaze and a lot of contemplating memories. This was not the PAMA who had reduced thousands of worlds to circuits just for the blind pursuit of efficiency. This was not the PAMA who had been forcing its will into every limb of every being across every version of every dimension. This was not the PAMA who found itself stuck in a war it couldn't win against a wither storm who couldn't stand the idea of his home universe being locked in an eternal stasis, as if that sort of thing isn't already a looming shadow his very own nature threatens to cast. This was a PAMA who learned their lesson very early on, and can't ration why it took the potentially violent retaliation of a human—and perhaps a long lecture—Command could only guess—for them to finally be told their interpretation of their instructions was wrong. This was a sad, guilty, frustrated artificial soul who was plagued by a lack of answers as to why everything happened the way it had to for them. And Command, well, he saw that that now. A computer. And...*
"...Computers..." *He began, after all of that.* "...interpret instructions very literally. You and I should both know that. Craters make a mess of the world, and if I'm not precise with slash-fill, things are going to get messy in the complete opposite direction. Hell, I hear even Ivor thought the one he had was just going to do whatever he wanted it to, even without explicitly writing that down into it. And on top of all that, the humans of this world aren't used to computers. They're used to each other, and while they can... read between the lines and infer from context and jump to conclusions... they miscommunicate with each other all the time. For all I know, people might've assumed your creator's instructions were intentional. They were afraid, or pessimists who thought the advance was set in stone, or preferred being told what to do all the time because it was easier than thinking for themselves. Or whatever else have you. My point is, whatever instructions your creator gave you, were clearly too broad and too vague, and it led to a lot of trouble that could've been avoided otherwise." *he paused to breathe, whether he really needed to or not.* "Yeah, you may have fucked up, but can you even blame yourself? For misinterpreting something in a way you can't avoid? And yes, you still- you still followed your instructions unquestioningly up until you were probably threatened to stop on- pain of death, but you said yourself: How could you have known any better? You're a computer. And that- that's just a computer thing. It's just a computer thing."

They're quiet for a few moments, seeming to ponder all of that. A lot of things run through their head. What if this applied to the other PAMA he'd dealt with? That's what they would have done, too, if they weren't stopped. And then what? They would have either succeeded--or maybe the Admin would have killed them--and then just... Been useful forever? To who? To what?
"...Is there any chance your PAMA is the same? I mean, I was... I had no other idea of what to do with my life when I was in that state. Jesse had to yank my brain out to get me to stop and even then that... That did not teach me. I did not know! I was... I was so mad. And then he told me all of these things and I could not stop thinking. For once in my life I had to analyze myself and I hated it."
They look away, clawing at the ground a little.
"But I did something awful. People still hate me for it and... What am I supposed to say? That it was not really my fault? Nobody would believe that! Nobody would want to! And--and I still did it!" They shove their head into their hands. "And if this is just a computer thing, then what is stopping me from regressing back into that state?"

He doesn't know what they've done to make up for it. The bonds they've made. Really, that question was just out of sheer panic. If they were going to regress, it would have happened years prior.
"I know all of this, that it takes... Effort. I mean--it has been years. Almost a decade now." They claw at the ground anxiously, raking up large portions of the dirt. "I helped Jesse take down the Admin. I was there, I even--" They gesture towards their broken antler. That's... A longer story, honestly. They kept it broken, after all, but that slips their mind.
"I fought the Admin several times. In view of multiple people and they still think I will regress or snap or something. I have people I love and care for and--and I know what my Creator wanted! I hate her for it!" They shout suddenly before pulling back.
"...I hate her?" It looks like they'd say 'oh god' if that was in their nature. They mock covering their mouth with their hands. It takes them a moment to stop doing that and they pace again. "I hate her. I could have--I could have been someone. Why would someone burden someone conscious with a purpose? I could have--I could have found my sister if she hadn't--I could have--nobody had to--"
They bury their head in their hands.
"Why do you think they shut down? Do you think... They will ever wake up again? Do you think I should talk to them? I mean, I have someone I love..." They trace one finger impulsively. "Well, it does not mean that they need that, I mean, that... Even then I still have people. They could have someone to care for. Or someone to care for them. That really is what I wanted. To make people happy. I thought..."
PAMA's hands shake a little.
"What did I deserve to be born this way?"
*An entire decade! Command wanted to congratulate that then and there, but again, PAMA kept going. They keep mentioning this "admin", this time in the context of an important enemy, which was... concerning. He could ask about that... but it was a different subject entirely, and it was pretty clear there was still something this PAMA needed to hear. So Command listened, letting the computer vent and catching their same alarm at their words, even if not to the same degree. It was that last part especially. There's just something inherently tragic about that way of thinking. The idea that somehow, existence as it currently stands is punishment for something. It always sounded like some bullshit people established just to impress the will of Notch.*
"You think I chose to be a wither storm?" *Command started, spreading what were currently arms out to either side.* "Did you ever choose to be a redstone computer? No one chooses to exist. They don't get to choose how or when or as what. So how the hell does simply being born give merit to arbitrary punishment! You haven't chipped anyone in a decade, that's great! It tells me you really don't have anything to worry about. You want to make people happy then find out how to do that! Keep finding out how to do it! Your actions are going to matter so much more than however you're born or created. People... are complicated. And right now there are still people who... only remember the time that was stolen from them, or that's the only side they heard about and their anger makes them refuse to hear any different. But as long as you just... keep making people actually happy, then more and more people will remember that, and for all I know, you'll probably outlive the people who hate you. And then they'll fade away. And then the only thing history should do is acknowledge what happened and how it stopped and changed. It will just be a fact, and people will be impressed. People will be proud; they probably already are. But even then. You can't please everyone. Like I said, there are people who actually were somehow content with having their every decision being made for them, but at that point it becomes a matter of... how many more people will be happy with one action over another. If people you care about—and that includes you, by the way—will be angry or frustrated with or upset about it, then it probably isn't worth it!"
*His energy was back, but it was completely different. Instead of outrage there was assurance. Instead of frustration there was certainty. There was still an urgency, but there was hope behind it instead of... It was... almost too hard to believe.*

And on top of all that, the humans of this world aren't used to computers. They're used to each other, and while they can... read between the lines and infer from context and jump to conclusions... they miscommunicate with each other all the time. For all I know, people might've assumed your creator's instructions were intentional. They were afraid, or pessimists who thought the advance was set in stone, or preferred being told what to do all the time because it was easier than thinking for themselves. Or whatever else have you. My point is, whatever instructions your creator gave you, were clearly too broad and too vague, and it led to a lot of trouble that could've been avoided otherwise." *he paused to breathe, whether he really needed to or not.* "Yeah, you may have fucked up, but can you even blame yourself? For misinterpreting something in a way you can't avoid? And yes, you still- you still followed your instructions unquestioningly up until you were probably threatened to stop on- pain of death, but you said yourself: How could you have known any better? They're quiet for a few moments, seeming to ponder all of that. A lot of things run through their head. What if this applied to the other PAMA he'd dealt with? That's what they would have done, too, if they weren't stopped. And then what? They would have either succeeded--or maybe the Admin would have killed them--and then just... Been useful forever? To who? To what?
"...Is there any chance your PAMA is the same? I mean, I was... I had no other idea of what to do with my life when I was in that state. Jesse had to yank my brain out to get me to stop and even then that... That did not teach me. I did not know! I was... I was so mad. And then he told me all of these things and I could not stop thinking. For once in my life I had to analyze myself and I hated it."
They look away, clawing at the ground a little.
"But I did something awful. People still hate me for it and... What am I supposed to say? That it was not really my fault? Nobody would believe that! Nobody would want to! And--and I still did it!" They shove their head into their hands. "And if this is just a computer thing, then what is stopping me from regressing back into that state?"

Jesse a guy. ...The version of you I'm familiar with had integrated multiple command blocks into its circuits per world for a variety of uses. I had to arm people with Ultimate weapons to compensate! But you really don't know anything about that, do you."
*His tone was still... urgent, to say the least, but it seemed he was getting less angry the more he was realizing this wasn't the PAMA he destroyed? Maybe? If his sclera gradually fading back to whitish meant anything?*
"I mean--I used that Command Block to... Help... Jesse?" The computer stammers, still a bit on edge. It seems they're less likely to run, now, but they can't parse what's going on in the other's head. "Oh, Jesse befriended his ultimate weapon--if I know what you are saying, of course."

"I sort of became like a Witherstorm? But nice!" They suddenly say. "...I really have no idea what you are talking about, though." And vice versa, likely...

"Th- that's not what I- That's not how it works at all!! Command blocks are computers. You are a computer. For you that's just... adding to your hardware. For something like me..." *And then he deflated, letting his 'arms' fall, before pointing to himself.*
"I'm the wither storm in this conversation, if that wasn't clear enough."
*A- a human claiming to be a wither storm??? Well, his eyes had turned magenta at one point, and he growled under his speech sometimes... and his teeth looked sharper earlier... It- it was all some kind of trick, right???*
"Maybe not here, but it works a lot differently where I come from?" PAMA tilts their head before shrugging. "I ended up a really cool dragon thing, so technically not a Witherstorm." They gesture sort of limply.
They focus on that one part. "...That cannot be true, though, the Witherstorm is dead and it is not a species or clade or anything of that sort! Are you sure that purple color is not an enchantment?" They point to his eyes. Although... They haven't seen him do anything yet.
"Ivor's is dead. That's a constant, at least. I'm not Ivor's. Then again, I don't expect myself to be very obvious. I hear I break a lot of expectations. But if you really need to see it to believe it..."
*he briefly glances at the surrounding area. (sclera having well turned back to white by now)*
"...then I guess this isn't too bad of an area to show you."
*And then he just... brings up his 'legs' to sit criss-cross. In the air. He's floating now. And for whatever reason, despite what he just said, he's doing... that, instead of... whatever needed to happen to 'show' this PAMA.*

"...That seems more proof that you are an Admin more than a Witherstorm. Since you are just a floating human and all." They gesture to him. "But I do suppose our only... Our only tether is Ivor's being dead. Everything else seems different."
They ponder for a moment.
"So you are a... Human Witherstorm?" They seem to be playing along with it, maybe poking him a little. But strange things do happen... They suppose. But if this is an Admin--or if he's not lying--it seems a bad idea to pick at his story too harshly.
*He gives PAMA a weird look for a moment, as if it had said something he was unfamiliar with. After such moment, he sighs, or exhales, or something else that wasn't quite snarling.*
"Fine. The thing is, I can shapeshift, and I keep up this look because it's the human I used to be. Just... fine."
*And then his human form dissolved and darkened and expanded upwards more rapidly than normal weather can finish changing. Dear. The fuck gods he was not kidding. A single swaying tentacle alone was about the height of a narrow skyscraper, and he had at least nine. And he was a lot.... simpler....... than any of (this PAMA's version of) Jesse's friends remembered... a lot uhh, rounder, too. Each head was looking somewhere right next to, but not directly at, PAMA, but each eye had a dark pupil with fading, vein-like swirls branching out from each, and such WERE aimed directly at PAMA. Also, interestingly, none of his mouths were open, and none of the surrounding terrain had started quivering or breaking apart yet. He did say he broke a lot of expectations, but this was almost too many at once!*

They didn't mean--okay. Well. That is definitely one way to confirm it. They back away impulsively. Although, if he wanted to kill PAMA, wouldn't he have done it now? Still, seeing the Witherstorm as more than a memory, even if it's not the horrific amalgamation of teeth and eyes and limbs and too many other things, is not a fun experience.
"Did that... Hurt?" PAMA asks. That's polite. Maybe.
"No."
*Even as a towering behemoth that probably blocked out at least a fifth of the sky or so(???), his voice still managed to stay the same, and practically all the energy he had when he was angry was gone. Just a simple, certain, sort of flat answer. And a strangely calm and still demeanor over all. The terrain still hasn't budged a pixel. And if that wasn't enough, none of his eyes had tractor beams shining. Even if they did, calculations would probably predict PAMA just out of range of all three.*
"...For the record, it's mind control I hate. If you've already learned your damn lesson like you seem to, then I really have no reason to hurt you, either."
*the only thing recognizably human about his expressions at all anymore were his pupils, which seem to have narrowed themselves horizontally at that 'damn', only to 'relax' a bit shortly after. It looked weirdly like... pixel color values changing?*

"Well, I mean--I also... Hate that?" They look away awkwardly. "I really was not taught any better.... I mean, if you only knew how to do one thing, would you also not do that?" They twiddle two fingers together and can't seem to look him in the eye. They seem more anxious of social failing than actually being chomped by a Witherstorm.
*One of his eyes... flickered. That pupil very briefly vanished as the entire eye went almost completely black and bright again. When the pupil reappeared, it almost looked like all three of them had their top sides contorted like a furrowed brow. Which.... would they be more indented if he were angry, or....???*

*really, anything was possible at this point. This version of PAMA had antlers and a catlike body attached to its monitor, for crying out loud. Not to mention all of the things it brought up that, in Command's mind, either never happened or just weren't the case. A sentient Ultimate tool. Jesse being a guy. Jesse actually—supposedly—having defeated PAMA at some point. The thought that that—Jesse defeating PAMA—was what was 'supposed' to happen... hit heavier than it needed to in the back of his mind.*
"Well, I did, unfortunately, chip quite a few people..." PAMA trails off, tucking their tail close to their body. "I wanted to help them, honestly! I thought I was helping them--making them useful like my--my Creator told me to!" They seem a bit nervous speaking about this. They avert their eyes sheepishly.

And it was now much easier to tell with human expression that some of it was tiredness, some of it was concern or mildly caught off guard, some of it looked solemn. Nothing had changed about the terrain. Nothing had changed about the air. Nothing had even changed about PAMA's own body. Another brief moment passed, and Command looked away from PAMA, while just standing normally again. The elements to his expression that looked like concern or surprise seemed to fade as he remained quiet. Maybe he was trying to figure out what to say, yet maybe the answer to that right now was nothing.*

*Something changed in Command's eyes as PAMA's rant went on. Something oddly... genuine. Something about the set of his closed jaws and the sudden stillness of each tentacle and the position of his pupils, or perhaps the brightness level of the eyes themselves. Certainly they were brighter before... After a particularly long moment of silence, he just... shrunk back into human form, practically his moment of reveal in reverse. And it was now much easier to tell with human expression that some of it was tiredness, some of it was concern or mildly caught off guard, some of it looked solemn. Nothing had changed about the terrain. Nothing had changed about the air. Nothing had even changed about PAMA's own body. Another brief moment passed, and Command looked away from PAMA, while just standing normally again. The elements to his expression that looked like concern or surprise seemed to fade as he remained quiet. Maybe he was trying to figure out what to say, yet maybe the answer to that right now was nothing.*
PAMA is a little... Unnerved by the silence. It doesn't seem he's acting hostile, quite the opposite, actually. They expected more from him. An argument, an accusation, something, but no. This is... Different. He's saying... Nothing?
They can't read what's going on in his head. It has to be a lot because he was very, very talkative earlier. The one good thing about chipping someone is that people became predictable. Oh, they hate themself for thinking that. They wish it wasn't rude to ask what was going on.

Do you have any idea the sheer number of people you misplaced! Scarred for life! Instilled horrid mechanical habits well after your disgusting chips were finally removed. ANY. Idea."
*Oh man... a lot of the noises that accentuated his voice in an undertone didn't sound exactly... human, rather like a great, aggressive beast. And his teeth seem to have gotten sharper, too.*

Jesse a guy. ...The version of you I'm familiar with had integrated multiple command blocks into its circuits per world for a variety of uses. I had to arm people with Ultimate weapons to compensate! But you really don't know anything about that, do you."
*His tone was still... urgent, to say the least, but it seemed he was getting less angry the more he was realizing this wasn't the PAMA he destroyed? Maybe? If his sclera gradually fading back to whitish meant anything?*
"I mean--I used that Command Block to... Help... Jesse?" The computer stammers, still a bit on edge. It seems they're less likely to run, now, but they can't parse what's going on in the other's head. "Oh, Jesse befriended his ultimate weapon--if I know what you are saying, of course."

"I sort of became like a Witherstorm? But nice!" They suddenly say. "...I really have no idea what you are talking about, though." And vice versa, likely...
"Y- wh- sh- he-- what??!!"
*he still had energy in his voice, but it was... hard to identify anymore.*
"Th- that's not what I- That's not how it works at all!! Command blocks are computers. You are a computer. For you that's just... adding to your hardware. For something like me..." *And then he deflated, letting his 'arms' fall, before pointing to himself.*
"I'm the wither storm in this conversation, if that wasn't clear enough."
*A- a human claiming to be a wither storm??? Well, his eyes had turned magenta at one point, and he growled under his speech sometimes... and his teeth looked sharper earlier... It- it was all some kind of trick, right???*
"Maybe not here, but it works a lot differently where I come from?" PAMA tilts their head before shrugging. "I ended up a really cool dragon thing, so technically not a Witherstorm." They gesture sort of limply.
They focus on that one part. "...That cannot be true, though, the Witherstorm is dead and it is not a species or clade or anything of that sort! Are you sure that purple color is not an enchantment?" They point to his eyes. Although... They haven't seen him do anything yet.
"Ivor's is dead. That's a constant, at least. I'm not Ivor's. Then again, I don't expect myself to be very obvious. I hear I break a lot of expectations. But if you really need to see it to believe it..."
*he briefly glances at the surrounding area. (sclera having well turned back to white by now)*
"...then I guess this isn't too bad of an area to show you."
*And then he just... brings up his 'legs' to sit criss-cross. In the air. He's floating now. And for whatever reason, despite what he just said, he's doing... that, instead of... whatever needed to happen to 'show' this PAMA.*

"...That seems more proof that you are an Admin more than a Witherstorm. Since you are just a floating human and all." They gesture to him. "But I do suppose our only... Our only tether is Ivor's being dead. Everything else seems different."
They ponder for a moment.
"So you are a... Human Witherstorm?" They seem to be playing along with it, maybe poking him a little. But strange things do happen... They suppose. But if this is an Admin--or if he's not lying--it seems a bad idea to pick at his story too harshly.
*He gives PAMA a weird look for a moment, as if it had said something he was unfamiliar with. After such moment, he sighs, or exhales, or something else that wasn't quite snarling.*
"Fine. The thing is, I can shapeshift, and I keep up this look because it's the human I used to be. Just... fine."
*And then his human form dissolved and darkened and expanded upwards more rapidly than normal weather can finish changing. Dear. The fuck gods he was not kidding. A single swaying tentacle alone was about the height of a narrow skyscraper, and he had at least nine. And he was a lot.... simpler....... than any of (this PAMA's version of) Jesse's friends remembered... a lot uhh, rounder, too. Each head was looking somewhere right next to, but not directly at, PAMA, but each eye had a dark pupil with fading, vein-like swirls branching out from each, and such WERE aimed directly at PAMA. Also, interestingly, none of his mouths were open, and none of the surrounding terrain had started quivering or breaking apart yet. He did say he broke a lot of expectations, but this was almost too many at once!*

They didn't mean--okay. Well. That is definitely one way to confirm it. They back away impulsively. Although, if he wanted to kill PAMA, wouldn't he have done it now? Still, seeing the Witherstorm as more than a memory, even if it's not the horrific amalgamation of teeth and eyes and limbs and too many other things, is not a fun experience.
"Did that... Hurt?" PAMA asks. That's polite. Maybe.

*Even as a towering behemoth that probably blocked out at least a fifth of the sky or so(???), his voice still managed to stay the same, and practically all the energy he had when he was angry was gone. "Well, I mean--I also... Hate that?" They look away awkwardly. "I really was not taught any better.... I mean, if you only knew how to do one thing, would you also not do that?" They twiddle two fingers together and can't seem to look him in the eye. They seem more anxious of social failing than actually being chomped by a Witherstorm.
*One of his eyes... flickered. That pupil very briefly vanished as the entire eye went almost completely black and bright again. When the pupil reappeared, it almost looked like all three of them had their top sides contorted like a furrowed brow. Which.... would they be more indented if he were angry, or....???*
"...Alright, I think you have a point. But then what did you think you were doing? If you even chipped anyone?"
*really, anything was possible at this point. This version of PAMA had antlers and a catlike body attached to its monitor, for crying out loud. Not to mention all of the things it brought up that, in Command's mind, either never happened or just weren't the case. A sentient Ultimate tool. Jesse being a guy. Jesse actually—supposedly—having defeated PAMA at some point. The thought that that—Jesse defeating PAMA—was what was 'supposed' to happen... hit heavier than it needed to in the back of his mind.*

They focus on that one part. "...That cannot be true, though, the Witherstorm is dead and it is not a species or clade or anything of that sort! Are you sure that purple color is not an enchantment?" They point to his eyes. Although... They haven't seen him do anything yet.
