Name : Jack Smith

Age : 40, born on 23rd April

Ethnicity : Half-Russian Half-American

Looks : He is 2.15 meters tall (7 feet in freedom units) and he is a muscular guy. He has big eyebags and red rimmed eyes and because of that he has lines on his face. His eyes are brown and his hair is almost snowy white. He always wears white gloves and long clothes. When he doesn't wears long clothes he is always covered in bandages except his throat and head. He has some very old finger-shaped bruises around his throat.

MBTI : INTJ

Sexuality : Demiromantic , Apothisexual and Panromantic.

Gender : Intersex and male, he/him

Callsign : Mint, because he can always make fresh starts and he always smells like mint for no reason.

Nickname : War Machine, because he is always brutal in the field.

Origin : He was in the US Army as a commander, in those times there was a contract between US and UK, so he was re-assigned to UK in TF141. He begged so hard to not come to the UK but no use. He somehow doesn't has any information on his files, it seems like US is hiding him and his informations. First, TF141 hesitated a lot but they got used to him eventually...

Personality : Emotionless, blank, very blunt, makes dry humour a lot (though sometimes it isn't funny), tries to get along with everyone. Nobody has seen a spark or a flicker of emotion from him (Yet). He doesn't shows anything. He also never swears, if he does it's usually censored in a funny way. Under all this he is a big ol' softie for everyone.

Illnesses : Insomnia, Hyper-vigilance, Autophagia, Hyperacusis and Social Anxiety.

Fears : Haphephobia (fear of touch), Claustrophobia (Fear of small places) and Nyctophobia (Fear of dark).

[Dagger runs into some rookies who are whispering and standing right outside. Dagger looks inside Mints office and sees the mess of a man. He gently knocks on the door frame before letting himself in and gently closing the door so no one could see into his office anymore.]

“Mint…what happened…?”

[Dagger doesn’t sound upset and he doesn’t get too close, giving Mint space.]

Mimt finally stopped biting his hands, took a paper and wrote something on it, showing it to Dagger. His gloves still red :

Nothing, I'm just being dramatic.

[Dagger pulls his med kit out.]

“tell me what’s really wrong please….I can help if you’ll let me”

...Mint wrote : "It is really just my weird mind being dramatic. Seriously. I have autophagia and the blood on my hands is because of it."

”ahhh…that makes sense…would you let me clean and re-wrap your hands? I won’t if you don’t want me too but I don’t want it to get infected or anything…”

Mint sighed and pulled his gloves and then the bandages under it. His hands looked... pretty horrible. They were pretty calloused, a bit purple/black over some points like it had been burned and there were bite marks. They were bleeding.

He held out his hands, looking away. It was clear he didn't liked his hands.

”alright, it’s okay, I’ll be gentle yeah?”

[Dagger very gently start wiping away the blood before he disinfects the wounds on his hands. He begins wrapping them back up afterwards.]

“There we go…that’s better…”

Mint shrugged and wrote : Thx.

A pause

He wrote : I am writing because I can't talk, because my voice is hoarse.

“That’s alright…Is there a reason your voice is worse than it normally is…? Are you sick maybe?”

[Dagger sat down]

Mint nodded.

He wrote : my vocal cords are a bit broken and even in a small sickness my voice goes hoarse.

“Ahh…I presume that does mean you’re sick…do you have a fever…?”

[Dagger was digging in his bag again]

Mint shook his head.

He wrote : It's basic flu, nothing more.

Mint sighed... quietly? He wrote: My condition is from birth, so it doesn't get better even if I try with meds. So I'm just silent now.

Mint wrote : It's been 2 hours since I last ate and like 30 minutes since I last drank.

Mint sighed quietly again, he lifted his hands in surrender.

Clover is sitting around a bunch of panicking recruits with a head injury! How will you handle the situation?

Clover laid on the ground staring up at the ceiling in a daze. Did the ceiling always spin like that? There was a low throb in the back of her head that pierced into her eyes. Causing her to squint as she tried to register what had just happened. She was teaching a class and training recruits on operating the L111A1.

God why did that stupid weapon have so many ones in it?..

Training recruits...

Right...

They went through the basic steps of disassembly and reassembly. As well as the basic information of the weapon, range, when to use, how to use, etc.

Everything had been going well... A few hiccups from the recruits here and there but nothing manageable. She had informed them to pack everything up and get ready to transport to the shooting range.

She blinked and suddenly everything went black for a moment before she opened her eyes and was staring at the ceiling. Worried and scared faces looking down at her as panicked voices shouted out. She couldn't quite make out what exactly they were saying though as she tried to squint through the throb of pain and procced to slowly sit up. There were startled and panicked gasps as one of the recruits tried to urge her to lay back down.

"Sergeant you should lay back down y-youre-"

"Fucking... Shut up, all of you. Will you all stop running around like chickens with their heads cut off?"

Clover groaned as she sat up to only feel all the blood suddenly rush from her head making the world spin even worse for a moment. She steadied herself immediately as she whinced and held her head. That's when she felt the sticky hot slick coating her hand. Pulling her hand away she stared at it to see the bright red that now covered it.

Ah...

Now she remembers...

One of the recruits had wanted to show off how strong he was... Decided to luge the piece of metal up his shoulder and swing it around to show off... It went flying out of his grip, spinning out before the heavy end smacked her square in the back of her head and neck.

"One of yous... Go fucking get me someone that can fix this mess..."

She mumbled pressing her hand back to the gash on her head as she sat there groaning in annoyance.

What a way to start the day.

Mint saw most of it. And he was stunned.

He immediately rushed to Clover's side, pulled out his glove from his right hand and pressed it against her head in mechanical precision. His right hand (now bandaged) holding her head in a slight angle to help the blood stop.

He looked at the recruits and told them to get a medic while he slowly pressed her body from her shoulders to a nearby wall to keep her sitting still against a wall. His hands slow and steady most of the time. He was still pressing his glove to her head.

He sighed.

"Oh my god, these recruits..."

A pause

"How are you feeling? Dizzy, nauseous, lightheaded or nothing?'

Clover looked up and immediately tensed up upon seeing who it was. Her brows furrowed into a scowl as she was maneuvered to sit against the wall. Whole time she continuously tried to bat him away.

"Fucking christ- sir respectfully fuck off."

Clover grunted feeling the throb in her head causing her to squint.

"I'm fine, been through worse."

She grunts as she attempts to push his arm away with her pointer finger. Suprisingly doing everything to minimize touching him while also trying to get him the hell away.

Mint stared at his hand (now bloodied and the glove was bloodied too.) and then to Clover.

"...you're bleeding pretty much. Are you sure that you are fine? If you ask me, you are not. So just let me help you."

He pressed the glove a bit more closely, he was still holding her head to the side gently.

"I can see the pain on your face, ya know."

She once more attempted to push him away with a finger.

"이 돌대가리야." (You thick skulled idiot)

She cursed at him.

"The pains coming from the damn headache coming on and my pure annoyance that you're bothering to help me. My muscles are just spasming as a reaction. The actual injury itself doesnt hurt."

She grunts in annoyance.

"It's only bleeding so much because it's my head. Fucking... Move your hand away already you're getting fucking dirty."

Mint huffed and pulled his hands away, standing up. He took a look at his bloodied gloves and then to Clover.

"I will follow you to the infirmary then, you probably can't walk with that blood loss."

A pause

"And I know korean, that was rude."

"바보, 멍청이, 돌대가리, 병신 새끼, 개새끼."

Clover cursed him out in a monotoned sarcasm as she looked at him unamused.

"너 때문에 나 완전 돌아 버린다."

She huffed looked away. Her hand moving to press against the injury to stem fhe bleeding herself.

"It's not that bad. I can handle myself. Fucking, just watch the recruits for me."

She grumbled as she slowly got up, using the wall to steady herself before standing up straight.

"Private Johnson!"

Clover barked out in annoyance. A nervous younger man piped up and jogged over to her.

"Yes Sergeant?"

They stood stiffly at parade rest as Clover narrowed her eyes impossinly more at the recruit.

"Start pushing. Don't stop pushing until I'm back."

She grumbled.

"Yes Sergeant!"

He squeaked before getting down and began doing pushups in place.

He rolled his eyes.

"Fine fine! But go medical duhh."

...He looked at her, still concerned.

"And stop swearing near me."

"You just roll your eyes at me? What are ya a teenage girl?"

She raised a brow before her eye twitched again. Slowly she began squinting her eyes into a near glare. Her jaw clenched tightly as she felt the waves of throbs pulse through her skull.

"Write me up if you want sir. Imma curse all I want."

She grumbled in annoyance as she let out a low groan. Slowly taking her steps to move past Mint as she continued to hold her head.

"What a shit day..."

Even though Clover protested, he went to the infirmary with her.

Now Mint was sitting on a chair in the infirmary while Clover laid on one of the beds. He was reading a book and looking at her once in a while.

Clover sat on the examination table hunched over. Her arms resting on her knees as she allowed the medic to look over the gash in her head. Her eyes were closed but she could hear the occasional sounds of pages turning.

"Sir."

Clover spoke with a hint of irritation in her voice.

"What in the world are you doing here?"

She slowly opened her eyes and glanced at him with narrowed eyes. Watching him leisurely read a book as she was getting patched up.

Mint closed the book and looked at her.

"Making sure you get proper care, since you're stubborn."

He looked crossed his arms.

"Besides I have nothing to do for the day."

[Dagger runs into some rookies who are whispering and standing right outside. Dagger looks inside Mints office and sees the mess of a man. He gently knocks on the door frame before letting himself in and gently closing the door so no one could see into his office anymore.]

“Mint…what happened…?”

[Dagger doesn’t sound upset and he doesn’t get too close, giving Mint space.]

Mimt finally stopped biting his hands, took a paper and wrote something on it, showing it to Dagger. His gloves still red :

Nothing, I'm just being dramatic.

“Mhmmmm….doesnt look like it to me. Respectfully sir, you look like you got hit by a train.”

[Dagger pulls his med kit out.]

“tell me what’s really wrong please….I can help if you’ll let me”

...Mint wrote : "It is really just my weird mind being dramatic. Seriously. I have autophagia and the blood on my hands is because of it."

”ahhh…that makes sense…would you let me clean and re-wrap your hands? I won’t if you don’t want me too but I don’t want it to get infected or anything…”

Mint sighed and pulled his gloves and then the bandages under it. His hands looked... pretty horrible. They were pretty calloused, a bit purple/black over some points like it had been burned and there were bite marks. They were bleeding.

He held out his hands, looking away. It was clear he didn't liked his hands.

”alright, it’s okay, I’ll be gentle yeah?”

[Dagger very gently start wiping away the blood before he disinfects the wounds on his hands. He begins wrapping them back up afterwards.]

“There we go…that’s better…”

Mint shrugged and wrote : Thx.

A pause

He wrote : I am writing because I can't talk, because my voice is hoarse.

“That’s alright…Is there a reason your voice is worse than it normally is…? Are you sick maybe?”

[Dagger sat down]

Mint nodded.

He wrote : my vocal cords are a bit broken and even in a small sickness my voice goes hoarse.

[Dagger was digging in his bag again]

Mint took a few steps backwards before realizing that it's dagger and holding him from his wrist, holding him straight and letting go. He studied him for a moment.

"...are you fine?"

“Oh my god I’m so sorry sir—“

[Dagger whined, once he’s back up he can really see the state Daggers in, he’s bloody even if it isn’t his own blood and he’s trembling]

“I’m so sorry sir I’m a mess I just got back from a mission and—“

Aye, calm down. It's fine. Just get cleaned quickly

[Dagger sighed, he looked a little wobbly and pale where he was stood.]

[Daggers voice is more hushed than usual, he trying not to upset Mint in the same way he would try to not upset his old team.]

”I wasn’t ready to get back on the field and I freaked the fuck out, I can’t keep food down and I feel light headed— I can’t get the blood off my hands either…”

[Dagger actually lets how he’s feeling out for once but looks like he immediately regrets it.]

[Dagger freezes up for just a moment]

“I…I’d appreciate that…please-…”

Yeah, lets go and sit down to the infirmary. I'll help ya clean up

[Dagger follows mint to the infirmary, sitting down on an empty bed and scratching at some of the dried blood on his hand that was irritating the skin under it.]

Mint rummaged through the cabinets and found some supplies and a cloth. He gave them to Dagger.

Here, these clean blood almost perfectly. I hope you're not injured.

“Mhm…”

[Dagger started wiping his arms off, scrubbing hard at his skin]

“I don’t think I’m injured….my skins just irritated and I have a headache…”

Mint pulled out some ibuprofen ftom a cabinet and poured water. He put them to the coffee table next to him.

[Dagger finished getting the blood he could off of him before taking the ibuprofen and chugging the water as quick as he could.]

“Thank you, sir..”

"...you're welcome."

A pause

"You look shaken though, wanna talk?"

dagger-the-medic

“I…I watched someone I used to know get shot, that’s all…”

[Daggers staring at the floor.]

Mint paused for a moment and then...

Hugged him.

dagger-the-medic

[Dagger hugged back silently, right then he broke, crying as quietly as he could]

“I- I don’t know why I’m this worked up— they weren’t even a good person—“

Mint held him in his arms.

It's okay, I know the feeling. You don't need to explain snything to me.

He patted his back and held him closer.

[Dagger clung to Mint, sobbing and shaking but at least he felt safe. After about 25 minutes of sobbing Dagger had exhausted himself, now just weakly clinging to Mint]

Mint patted his back again,

You're safe here

dagger-the-medic

”mhm…I’m…im so tired…”

[Daggers body was sagging against Mint, his eyelids heavy]

Mint sighed.

You can sleep.

”mm…mhn…”

[Daggers out like a light, just barely holding onto Mint still.]

Mint held him gently but strongly. He stood like that for a while. And then he slowly cradled dagger in his arms.
