Now that social networking is such a huge part of our lives (and thus culture), shouldn’t we ensure that we are spelling correctly?
It is interesting, because spoken word is not as analyzed, in regards to how the speaker may spell the word they are speaking. But when we post things actually on our social networks, it shows more in regards to how we spell things.
How perfect is this in regards to how our society has become?
I mean, it does make sense. That is, the actual wording itself. However, I think of this a bit further as to how we’ve become so expectant of text, we must precept our calls with a text.
How true is this.
Take one look at any major post on Facebook and read the comments. It’s awful.
My husband and I struggle with the impulse to make our kids grow up how we did (always outside), but we didn’t have technology like they do these days. We want to keep them social, but sometimes social does mean playing on their kindles, as they are connected to their friends elsewhere.

Social networks helps stressed and depressed cope.
If you really stop and think about it- how easy is this to actually understand? It seems we spend so much time (as a society) bemoaning how awful social networking is, as it “will make you stressed and depressed”- but what if you are already stressed and depressed?

How ‘social’ is ‘social networking?
How interesting is this? For me, this topic is incredibly interesting.
I was very happy to see this post- it takes into account that those who are shy/lonely can use social networking as a leg up on life.
