Have you ever met another soul That can set yours ablaze? Not with pain and sadness But with spirit and blitheness. 

A soul so bright and pure That everything else melts away Filling a body with song and dance Leaving a mind inspired with delight.

If you’re new to this blog, or just haven’t stopped by in a while...

Well, first off welcome / welcome back!

What this blog is for

I post a range of things to this blog, mostly poetry, film scripts and my latest attempts at digital art. I also occasionally post acrylic painting, watercolour painting and photography. Very rarely I’ll also post covers of songs (Bass or guitar) and original short films/video work. 

Films get posted a lot rarer as they’re very expensive to produce to a decent quality and I don’t have the kind of money to rent equipment and pay cast and crew, and can’t get them for free like I could when I was a student. Going forward, it may only be films that I’ve worked on as part of the crew where I have permission to share them.

I don’t post every day, sometimes not every week. Everything I do post is my own work though. Almost everything is completely original content, minus some art of pre-established characters such as the latest piece, Deadpool. 

Ultimately, this is just a way for me to keep all my creative endeavours in one place that’s easier to share with other people.

Interaction and requests

I absolutely encourage reblogs of anything I post that you like and any feedback if you have any. I’m not a professional in any of the mediums I work in so I’m still learning the best way to do things. I especially appreciate sharing of my original content more. I am open to asks as well as messages for this. 

I can’t take commissions due to living on disability benefits (any extra income becomes a complicated issue) but I do take requests for art and maybe sometimes poetry and film scripts. Since these aren’t paid pieces you won’t get them done immediately and I will refuse if I don’t want to do it. Send me a message about it if you do want me to do something.

If you want me to work on something that will later be used commercially, for instance a film script, you have to be completely upfront with me about it. Something can be sorted out through conversation.

Please don’t remove captions or any of my details from any piece I’ve made. Don’t share any content of mine without visible credit/sourcing. All rights to my own content stays with me unless otherwise discussed.

So this is my second piece I’ve ever done on my Wacom tablet, so I’m still learning how to actually do things digitally. 

The last one was just for whatever, I’m not sure if it actually works or not. A few people think it does but I’m really unsure.

Happiness

Happiness can be a strange thing It looks different on all of us From singing and dancing To smiles and laughter.

For some it's sunshine Enjoying a brightly lit day A warming sun An absence of darkness.

For some it's companions Of the four legged kind Adorable pets of all sizes Appreciating closeness no matter who it may be.

For others it's fantasy Getting lost in other worlds Exploring beyond our limits Finding ourselves in each world.

Yet more have different places To find what makes them sing For all of us are different Yet we all crave the same thing.
