Helloooooo! I’m on a bit of a hiatus right now, since I’ve been very busy. It’ll be a little while until I can properly rp again, but I will be returning, this won’t be like the last times my blog was on break.

He clapped his hands together, the key jingling from his right ring finger as he did. Regardless of the success or failure of this test, the results would at least give him more answers, so with that, he slotted the key into the lock of the closet.

“Ah, wonderful! I promise this should only take a moment…”

"Taka, baby, loooook." Nabita holds up a small plush Monokuma, with a matching pink-and-white one themed after her own outfit. "Aren't they cute?! they look just like us!"

He tilted his head, eyes round red orbs as he stared at them.

"Hm? Where did you find that plushie? I don't remember making it... Though it is cute."

He paused, giving him a look that seemed like a warning. Internally, though, he was feeling a sense of panic. He couldn't let him leave, not until he tested this. Regardless of how ridiculous it sounded, he had to try. Things could only operate so long without him.

"Tch- Look, I don't want to be here as much as you do. But I need to try this."

He scoffed, fishing into his pocket once more. His key was just for these occasions, potentially even for this world's locks. It seemed to work the last time.

"Well, suppose we'll never get in there..."

He scoffed at his words, pointing to the door. This other him was being so difficult… he could get how this didn’t make sense, but he may as well try. He has things to do…

“Look, this is where I came to this- different world with a different me. My school doesn’t even look the same as this one.”

When they reached the closet, he turned around again, arms crossed and tapping his foot. The idea that he just popped out into a different world was preposterous, but this clearly wasn’t “his Hope’s Peak”. That had to be the explanation.

“This closet is what brought me here, so I can only assume that it’s how I’m supposed to get back, but I didn’t meet the criteria of the last time and how I was brought here because I was alone.”

He glowered at him, turning on his heels as he began walking back down the hall again towards the closet. It was like he expected him to follow, confirmed by his words.

“Follow me before I make you.”

"Whatever makes you happy, Taka." She sighed, turning herself so that her chest was flush against his. "That's all I want."

He nods, smiling.

"Well, I can assure you that I will succeed, and we will be happy."

Taking notice of the other, and having exhausted all other options, he stops, fists tight but intention not discernable, all one could tell he was he was upset.

"You. I need you so I can figure out what's happening here."

Time passed, and from the corner of his eye, as the class was ending, he saw the other Ishimaru pass the door, a look of annoyance on his face as he strode angrily and rapidly through the hall.

It only took a few minutes for him to grow annoyed. This wasn't right. That closet- that was where he suddenly appeared here. Was that some kind of- Well, he didn't know the term. Whatever this was, a convoluted prank or some kind of weird hallucination, he didn't know, but he would be damned if he was going to be stuck here. With that, he turned on his heel, walking out of the room hurriedly.

She coos, leaning into his gentle touch. "Mmh. Doesn't it get tiring running it, baby? You could use a break every so often."

He hummed softly, eyes closed as he twirled a strand of her hair around his gloved finger.

"Hm, no, for the sake of despair I must continue. It is my life, you know this."

She mindlessly picks at her nails as she rambles on. "Oh, I was thinkin' about you all day, but I didn't wanna bother you. You're such a busy guy, y'know?"

He nodded, fingers intertwined in her hair, playing with the short, pink strands.

"One could say that. This game isn't exactly easy to run, let alone be a part of."

She happily grins, taking her place in his arms with her head nestled in his chest. (I love the nickname 🥹) "Thank you~"

He smiled, holding her close with a soft sigh.

"But of course, my dear."

She scoots herself closer to him. "C'mon, Taka, I don't bite. Promise."

Sighing, he held out an arm for her, head tilted to the side.

"Very well. Come here, Nana."

This was very clearly wrong, in his mind. He knew for a fact how much time has passed, and this was far earlier than it was supposed to be. He recognized the lesson, too. Whatever was happening had something to do with himself and this other variation, whom he lifted his gaze to lock with.
