What the Ever-Loving Fuck??
Alright @staff, @support, what gives?? All of a sudden, Iām having to wade through a feed thatās nearly halfĀ āRecommendedā orĀ āPromotedā posts & blogs that have NOTHING to do with ANYTHING Iāve ever liked, posted, reposted, tagged, or followed. The same 3 or 4Ā āRecommendedā posts have been popping into my feed CONTINUOUSLY for literally WEEKS (MONTHS, even) even though I tag them asĀ āThis post sucksā every single GD time. Ads are bad enough, though I get that thatās your revenue stream (though even ad frequency has increased to the point of high-level annoyance)...but this new stream of completely irrelevant spam, is above & beyond any kind of reasonable advertising. I canāt get through a half-dozen posts from folks I follow without then having to scroll past a half dozen posts about Pokemon or fashion or Reyās empty soul or whatever other crap pops in there. I donāt want to see what your idiotic algorithms think I might like. I donāt need your recommendations for blogs you think I might like. I donāt care about posts a followerās followerās great aunt Bertha liked. If I tell your system a post sucks, I DONāT WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN! Like most of your users, Iād imagine, I want to see posts from the blogs I follow, period, full stop. FIX IT!!!
