My hyperfixations come and go, so I guess we'll see which stick around and which are fleeting. Hopefully my posts will at least reflect the way my brain ping-pongs between ideas.

I often wonder why so many of my story ideas are something along the lines of 'main character gets transported to new, magical world/planet' and then I open social media, look at our world outside,and realise oh, that's why

Daily musings

Have I been writing my fanfic wip recently, you may ask.

Why, no, I have not. For my mind has given me a gift; a new original idea that I must start now. There is much planning to do, and themes to write down before they fall from my brain never to return.

Don't worry... I'm sure I'll get back to the four wips eventually. They've not been abandoned, but put neatly in a pile ready for me to come back to once I grow tired of the new project. *rolls eyes so hard I get a headache*

TRUE writers suddenly get writing urges at 1am mid-doomscroll and proceed to ramble out the most incoherent plot into a new doc and wake up and then just. stare at it.
