Sheffield put so much thought into something as simple as a handshake. Serph had to be shown what a handshake was by a child.
Because I remember the artist (前田 浩孝) who did the qds covers from their work on otome games, I end up imagining some really horrible scenarios sometimes.
Would an otome game featuring cannibalistic demon people sell?
I like qds but every time I see the cover art I can't help but think "what are they wearing??"
...but then I remember what they wear in the games and I realize that maybe it isn't that much weirder.

Since I've been talking a lot here I'll give a warning and an apology now: I suffer from both "forgets everything that was just said" disease and "keeps talking" disease. I don't mean to make things awkward by misunderstanding things or by going on talking. I try my best to pay attention. Anyway, it's alright to tell me when I make a mistake. I just want to talk about the game and see other people talk about the game. I won't bring this up again since it's not related to what really matters...
Digital cannibals with candy colored hair
Has anyone copied the scripts (jp and en) of ddsat and ddsat2? I'm working on the first game, but I realize now that someone has probably already done it. I wanted it to be easier to compare versions.
The second master guide is very helpful for this because it has all the extra dialogue outside the dungeons and shows when new dialogue is added. There's still the cutscenes and the dialogue inside the dungeons but hopefully that shouldn't be too hard. I'd still want someone to make sure there isn't anything missing or any typos if I do continue.
Unfortunately, there isn't anything like that for ddsat2. So that will probably take... a really long time.
Rewatching wargames. One of the guys at the beginning says something like he knew someone who grew plants and would chant "om mani padme hum" all night to them. All I can think of is digital devil saga...
The same thing happened with bible verses. The first thing I think of has almost nothing to do with the bible.
I'll defend myself about this one and say that the movie IS about a computer that does war simulations.
If Sera and Serph were less fused as Seraph, would they have two heads?
Not serious but it is funny to think about. Would Heat be nicer to the Sera head?
I couldn't remember what Cielo says he listens to in the English version.... turns out he just talks about dancing! Why?!
Originally he says latin house...
I know there are changes to the characters like...
spoilers for dds2
Because of the music stuff from earlier, now I'm curious — has anyone made any digital devil saga themed playlists? I see other fans of other games make them
Comment about Lupa's theme being Western-like:
Comment about ddsat (1) music being made with late 60s and 70s era in mind.
Comments about the blues style songs. Funny since Heat actually says something about listening to blues in the game (metal in en version)
Mention of Santana. Example of his music here
Meguro Comment From Column:
Meguro Comments on Tracks:
Muladhara
Svadhisthana
Sahasrara
Japanese Heat dialogue:
It's going to bother me forever that parts of the site seem to be missing...
Unused area for ddsat called "下層廃墟"
Source

Apparently Kaneko has a twitter account now and he's been answering a lot of questions about character and demon designs...
I hope someone asks about ddsat. So far I haven't seen anything.
