during the time inside Yuuji, Sukuna must have tried to traumatize the brat anytime he could. Like, he could randomly summon Yuuji in his innate domain and physically torture him, only to realize that physical pain couldn't break Yuuji. Then he resorted to manipulation or gaslighting instead. Especially after Shibuya, he must have whispered cruel words in Yuuji's head everyday about his "failure."

One of the reasons why SukuIta is my favorite Jjk ship is because no matter how many times Sukuna tries to break Yuji, he always survives and keeps fighting back. Never giving up despite Sukuna's challenges.

That's why I'm honestly very disappointed with the amount of fanfics out there where Yuji is portrayed as too naive, oblivious and sometimes too weak ( both physically and mentally ) person...

Wouldn't it be more interesting if Yuji is portrayed as someone who can cleverly survive Sukuna's psychological torturing even when his arrogance and smugness are literally insufferable? 💬

actually very funny sukuita idea wherein Yuuji has one of those 'making bentos for my husband~!' ytube channels and it becomes more and more apparent that cutie Yuuji's husband is a) richer than God and b) shady as all hell

you never see Yuuji's face, just his body & incredibly nice, expensive kitchen. at one point Sukuna creeps in and hugs Yuuji from behind, giving viewers a nice view of his heavily tattooed forearms and 6 figure watch. Yuuji captions it as "husband cameo!!!!!!"

when asked about it, Yuuji just says his husband is a "hard worker!" meanwhile, ruthless corporate executive/criminal Sukuna is enjoying his incredibly cute bentos while ruining lives.

might be a hot take:

the eclipse rape scene is fucking misogynistic, undoubtedly the worst moment in Berserk, not because it's meaningful or heart wrenching, but because it's straight out disgusting.

Just look at Guts' rape scene or Griffith post selling himself, the explicit details were avoided in favor of the in-depth character development. In contrast, Casca's scene was just pornography, and worse, after that, Miura decided to make her a potato -> no emotional study whatsoever. I read about an interview in which Miura said that he sometimes felt like Griffith and other times Guts. He never mentioned Casca, meaning he did not see himself in the character, he could not see from a woman's perspective, which explained why he wrote Casca so badly but the other two so well.

And oh how tired I am of the men complimenting Miura on the eclipse rape scene 🤢
