My take on G3 Elissabat

(I've already made a redesign but decided to update this prior to her trademark being renewed recently)

My take on g3 Elissabat is that she is half korean and does a lot of kdramas (she's not an idol since the idol/singer status belongs to Catty)

Her design is heavily inspired by iconic kpop idol Wonyoung (especially during her group IVE's comeback with the hit song Love Dive) as I imagine G3 Eli would have the fame as her in the monster world (multiple projects and brand deals)

Her outfit has a lot of references towards the vampire heart back in g1 (especially the jewel on her chest), the big bat bow on her back is a throwback to the collector vampire heart draculaura as well.

Her body type will be the same as venus (but on a standard height) or just simply the glam body type (cleo).

Her hands will be black as to mimic gloves (like SSB draculaura and the entire Hauntlywood line) she will wear full tights as well. The "E" on her necklace is a reference to the late monarch Anne Boleyn, who wears a necklace with her signature "A" on it

My take on absolute superbat is Bruce as bottom. Like BIG WIFEY in animal kingdom where the husband mostly far smaller.

hey. do you ever think about dan being the first one to say gabe’s name, despite diana centering so much of herself around him? because for diana, it was never just about gabe himself; he was the son she lost, the life she could have had, the mental illness that governed her life, the child she could imagine but not have to care for. he was a symbol for all of that. but for dan, gabe was gabe: his son, not a symbol. he cared about diana, about natalie, about gabe, about his family. so he said gabe’s name because he still recognizes gabe’s identity, even when - to diana - he’s spiraled so far beyond.

My take on the "Jester manipulated Harlequin" theory.

Sooo, I think we've all seen this theory going around, the one about Jester manipulating/hypnotizing Harlequin into killing Columbina.

Now, I won't say I hold the absolute truth, I'm a mere player. But I don't think it's something as simple as "Jester did it because he's evil and didn't want to get his hands dirty", the characters from TFC are complex, which is a good thing, and they come in shades of grey.

I think the initial theory has merit, but the reasoning pushed forwards tends to be a tad bit simplistic/weak. So, here is what I think could have been the logic behind Jester's deeds : He had to make a choice to save as many members of the Circus as possible, all while dealing with being particularly weakened because he was feeding himself to Pierrot, and Columbina's imminent "relocation"... Which I think wouldn't have been good at all.

Columbina was seen as very pretty by humans, even though she was a monster. But she also was the weakest, and the lack of food probably made it worse. Yet she was the only one suggested for "relocation"... You probably can get some ideas as to what that would have meant. She would have been too weakened to save herself.

Jester probably knew what that meant too : a fate worse than death for her. He knew what needed to be done, but he knew that the others wouldn't want to kill her. The three closer people to Columbina at the time of her death were Pierrot, Harlequin, and Ticket Taker. Pierrot is usually the strongest, but he was in horrible shape at that time. Ticket Taker isn't known for his strength. The last closest person was Harlequin, amongst the strongest of the Circus, who was in better shape than Pierrot.

So, taking this into account, Jester could have hypnotized Harlequin into killing Columbina, as a "mercy kill", and a way to get more strength to break free. And none would have been the wiser at the time, hence why in their stories, Harlequin is the one who killed her... And in appearances, who would have thought otherwise?

But I don't think there was some malicious intent behind these actions: only a wish to save the found family with the "tools" given. We know that event traumatized everyone in the troupe. Everyone. If Jester had done this maliciously or without remorse, he wouldn't be traumatized. Alas, it was a series of unfortunate events, someone had to take charge, he did, after all, he is known for being skilled at survival.

you all understand that shane is not a planner right? like he doesn’t make plans, he is very much a straightforward we just keep doing what we’re doing kind of guy, a just keep getting pucks in nets kind of guy. that’s why the scene in the cottage where he tells ilya his plan for them is such a big deal, because shane doesn’t do that, and certainly has never expressed to ilya before any kind of hope for the future. but he loves ilya so much, and wants to be with him so bad, that in this one instance, he plans a way to make it happen. and ilya knows that this is out of character, and he understands what it means, and that is what finally breaks his walls down enough to say ily to shane.
