I don't think I'm still watching HOTD.

Everything that happened in the final chapter was a turning point. I always knew they were unlikely to have a happy ending, but I think that the people in charge of the production of the series are being cruel.

As many people in the fandom, I didn't like Game of Thrones, but because of the many edits and tiktok about Daemon and Rhaenyra, alone or as a couple, I started watching the series. I understand that for many it is not the purpose of the show, but I also think that if they have scenes recorded, they should show them. I don't think it's fair for Matt or Emma to have to explain their performances because the things that make sense of the scenes aren't there or was intended by the actors.

Maybe I'm to soft, but there were so many small details that could be exploited and that were simply left for the people who paid enough attention. Like Daemon wiping his tears as he walked over to Rhaenyra to tell her about Luke, and all the corporeality in her when she realizes.

This was the chapter that showed that in reality, Daemon always loved Rhaenyra when he asked for her hand in 1x04, not the throne.

So I choose to believe in the universe that Rhaenyra was able to live a long life with him, that they were able to have more children, and be happy together.

No Nettle, no premature death. Just them.
