my name is rae i use any pronouns and i am just a teenager ☝️ he doesnt have a name call him whatever. i call him stupid idiot shithead and he has no idea he doesnt care

i adopted him in late 2022 as a compromise because my mom hates cats and i hate dogs. i had researched rabbits before but hadnt fully settled into the idea until he literally fell into our lap through a friend of ours who couldnt keep him anymore (allergies)

hes 3 i think, turning 4 next year?

hes a standard chinchilla, which confuses everybody i talk to when they ask about his breed.

his favorite foods are cilantro and blueberries 🫐

i put my cereal down on my end table and turned my back for one second to close my bedroom door and he jumped on my bed and ate a cheerio right out of the bowl. ok.

ok so the lady we got him from talked to my mom today and admitted that she was mistaken: she acquired him BEFORE covid lol so hes actually 5 or 6. she cant remember if he was born in 2019 or 2020 and she hasnt gotten back to me specifically yet lmfao. bro fooled me i fully thought he was only a year old when i got him

we splurged on a new enclosure because the old one was um rotting and was really difficult to clean. my back hurts a lot less now :-)
