Aftermath

After the incident relating to Eggman’s super weapon and the chaos emerald, Chai became a mobian sheep. Through many testing and analyzing, no one can really explain how this transformation was possible.

Even though Chai started out looking like a baby mobian after the evolution egg faded, they quickly grew and aged into an approximate 11 year old in a few months. Tails believes it could be related to the weird conversion between chao and mobian years and now should age normally.

Appearance

Chai’s hair did start to grow longer dramatically as they aged and refused to cut it. Wanting to let Chai be able to express themself, Sonic tried his hardest to maintain it but failed horribly. Thankfully Amy and Rouge offered to help and made the braided style they love.

Amy also offered her older clothing that she kept stored in boxes. She found a crop top shirt she got from a chao festivial in Station Square, long leg warmers she got a few winters ago, and old shoes she only worn 3 times.

Rouge offered to provide makeup to compete the look since Chai had express many times in the past of how much they loved Rouge’s style.

Sonic and Shadow

Chai doesn’t refer Sonic and Shadow as their dads/parents but more like parental guardians/caretakers since they were originally a pet. Chai does call Sonic “Blue” “Faker” and “Hedgehog” (heavily influenced by Shadow) and does call Shadow “Shad” and “Faker” (heavily influenced by Sonic).

Chailyn’s personally is a bit between Sonic and Shadow’s because of their neutral alignment. They did spend a good amount of time with them when they were a chao and it still influences them even after the transformation. They are energetic and quick on their feet but they need time to be alone to recharge. They are highly competitive and can get a little too aggressive but they can recognize when to back down. They are loving and kind but can be blunt sometimes.

Abilities

Chai is a power type character because of their strong horns. They are able to roll up in a ball and smash Eggman’s robot with a good headbutt. They’ve done many wrestling and sparing matches with Knuckles to really build it up.

They can even transfer back into a chao form! Much to everyone’s surprise. Tails speculates that the “evolution state” only made it possible for Chai to switch between both versions. Except this time Chai’s chao form is adult instead of baby. When Chai does switch back into a chao, they are able to talk like they normally would as a mobian, instead of only chao talk.

Finally at the end! At least for “book one.” I would love to continue more on the comic but I’m running out of time and stamina.

In the next post I’m going to provide the character sheet and references and a brief explanation on what happens next. In the next comic segments I might do the visuals for it.
