Sakura being a soft spot for Sasuke #239173

Sakura asks Sasuke if he’s in pain in a very gentle voice and Sasuke responds with a quiet “no,” despite physically and palpably exhausted. You see her following reassurance is so full of care and gentle that Sasuke’s face just lets down his tough front and loosens up instead of arguing or snapping. Because she’s so worried for him and cares so much, he answers with just a soft “right.”

He’s so much more calmer and soft with Sakura honestly. It was only when he remembered what the other guy said about him that his expression changed and invited vengefulness again.

 Also I watched it in both English and Japanese dubs, and Sasuke’s voice still has the same softness and effect.

Added: he was still trying to act strong saying “no it doesn’t [hurt]” Like even though you could hear the exhaustion in his voice, Sakura’s emphatic care, assurance and smile is what made him drop the front next
