Masterpost of Bakugou/Uraraka Interactions

I saw a lot of metas floating around for their fight scene, and specific manga pages, but I found individual content here and there that was never really included or compiled into a big overall post. I thought it might be fun for me to make something like this that, with my notes taken on the interactions, no matter how little or insignificant the moment is.
This only includes direct interactions (meaning just standing together is no good, they gotta say something to or about the other).
LIGHT NOVEL: Volume 2, Chapter 4, an all-girls night and the ladies talk about boys Ā / Ā Ā» LINK Ā« (translated)
The girls ask if you had to switch bodies with a boy, who would you want to be? Ochako says sheād want to be Bakugou.
When everyone is shocked, she saysĀ āYeah, during our fight at the sports festival, I was left completely defeated, but at that time I thought he was really strong, just once Iād like to experience what itās like to have that strength!ā

I wonāt go into super deep detail, we all know this one! But I do wanna break it up as I did all the other points.
He knew what her quirk was (not knowing the quirks of his other classmates), even if he didnāt know her name yet, implying heād kept an eye on her.Ā
Bakugou calls herĀ āroundfaceā at the beginning but after her most impressive attack, he uses her name,Ā āUrarakaā. From this point on he only refers to her as Uraraka, which is meaningful for Bakugouās character.
He defends her against their classmates; āWhat part of her was fragile?ā , āNothing frail about herā
Itās the first time we see Bakugou reach his limit to the point where his arm is shaking and throbbing, Uraraka is the first to successfully drive him to the edge of his power.Ā After the fight is over, heās shown thinking about the way she pushed his limit, gazing at the hand he used to blast away her meteor attack ( LINK )
Aizawa explains Bakugou judges his opponent based on their skill and advancement, not their gender, and him not going easy on Uraraka is a sign of respect / recognition.
The faces he makes after she faints, the lack of gloating or satisfaction (unlike his usual) in his win, is super moving. Many say he looks disappointed he couldnāt fight longer, as heād gotten excited to do so.
In the dub, instead ofĀ āroundfaceā it says āpink cheeksā which is a known charm point of Uraraka. I just wanted to mention that, as I thought it sounded super cute / flirty.

She can apparently can read his āBaku Rage Auraā
She states he wasĀ āso cool when we foughtā, explicitly admiring his sportsmanship with her during the Sports Festival
Uraraka easily talks to him about Deku when no one does
Even in his head, Bakugou calls her Uraraka (not roundface) - showing that despite how angry he is that sheād dare to talk to him about his treatment of Deku, that he still respects her enough regardless.
Actually ! In the original Japanese, he calls her āUrarakaā twice in this one conversation, once to her face ( LINK ) and the other time in his head.
DRAMA CD: Bakugou, Uraraka, Kirishima and Ashido talk about strategy before the UA Sports Festival / Ā Ā» LINK Ā« (translated)
This is before his fight with Uraraka at the festival, so essentially before he gains his true respects for her, thus heās calling her āroundfaceā and speaking to her just he would to any other studentā¦ rudely. (he speaks to Kirishima and Ashido in an equally disrespectful way).
She understands his use of nicknames immediately says to Ashido itās not that he canāt remember his classmates names, itās that he doesnāt want to (which he confirms seconds later). Ā
Uraraka (and Ashido) are taken with his confidence, which catches him off guard.
Sheās very eager to ask him questions and starts the trend the other 2 follow (āHey Bakugou, if youāre up against Tokoyami, how would you fight?ā), especially after he explains how the Sports Festival functions.
Similar to before their actual battle, he tells her to āGive up before you get hurt.ā
I thought itās important to note that given the characterisation (excessive ādieā & āiāll kill youās), I take it this CD was written by TOHO as opposed to Horikoshi himself.
ANIME & MANGA: minor interactions

During Bakugouās kidnapping, sheās the only one who thought about how he may feelĀ Ā Ā» LINK Ā« (anime sub). I actually have quite a few opinions on this moment, which you can read HERE if interested.
Urarakaās always shown paying attention to what Bakugou is doing, often before anyone else has the time to notice.Ā Ā» LINK Ā« (anime sub)
She recognised the way Deku began to jump like Bakugou firstĀ Ā Ā» LINK Ā« (translated manga), and reminded her classmates of that fact as wellĀ Ā» LINK Ā« (translated manga)
During the Training Camp arch in Chapter 78, she alongside Kirishima are the only ones to shout āBakugou!?ā in concern when they learn heās the target of the villains.Ā Ā Ā» LINK Ā« (translated manga). The anime replaced her with Iida (not sure why, my best guess being they didnāt wanna bring her seiyuu in for 1 line) but originally the concern was hers.
Uraraka goes to her intern with Gunhead as a result of her fight with Bakugou, wanting to get more of that fighting spirit Ā Ā» LINK Ā« (translated manga)
Uraraka, though for a different reason, still calls MidoriyaĀ āDekuā because of hearing Bakugou say itĀ Ā» LINK Ā« (translated manga)

In HA SMASH Aizawa had Bakugou write letters to his classmates. His letter to Uraraka says:Ā āTo the person who makes things float, Your quirk is strong. In order to make the best use of it, you should continue to focus on learning martial arts. However, there are times when you have to appear relax even if itās just an actā¦āĀ Ā» LINK Ā« (raw, page 4) , Ā Ā» LINK Ā« (translation). He genuinely recognises her power & gives a suggestion on how she could better herself which is something important to his character.
In the My Hero Academia: Two Heroes movie, when Uraraka is about to be attacked by robots, Bakugou comes in and blasts them away. (no link available at this time, but here is the SOURCE of the information)
