i had a fun and simple "collab" idea!

peculiarium is everywhere; same goes for this fandom (that is, if we all aren't secretly peculiar). i love the expansivness that this community has and respects. so, i think it would be fun if we each marked our peculiar placement, see how far and wide peculiarium truly goes.

Also do we know the chronological order to which Bentham has his legs broken? Was it before he saved(?) and then enslaved Mother Dust when he didn’t have access to medical treatment outside of whatever Caul lovingly let him have, or was it after when he could threaten Mother Dust to heal him so he didn’t have to go to the hospital because he’s lazy?

I sent this to my mutuals - I think I only have two of them so take this as my formal apology - because I wanted their individual attention about this joke I was very proud to have thought of. Tragically, in my sleep deprived state, I started crying (I’m not kidding) because my own joke was “cruel” and now I need everyone’s opinion (and also more attention because apparently I yearn for it): is sleep deprived me really mean and makes horribly dark jokes or is sleep deprived me just really sensitive?

this is actually going off of the question you got from 🇲🇽anon lol: do you think riggs intended for the series to turn into a hexology? or do you think his orginal plan was to stop at the first trilogy? while i fear it definitely makes sense to keep the story going (there was just so many things left unanswered and unfinished), i feel like the second trilogy is so messy and scrambled especially at some points, that i go back and forth on what riggs intentions were. maybe their actually is a clear answer riggs has stated before, i know you have seen many if not all of his interviews lol.

also, a question i got the other day that im genuinely curious to see what other people think: if you were to put olive under water, would she pop or float back up like a balloon or is her body density still the same as a normal human despite her abilities? it really got me thinking about this poor girls anatomy lol...

Actually, Riggs' intention was really just to make a trilogy, but since the universe was extremely expansive and the publisher still seemed interested in more books in that universe, he continued. And I agree with you, it's clear how disorganized the second trilogy is, AMOD was very ambitious, sepia and color photos, Clans, organizations of humans who hunt peculiars, a prophecy... Then half of that was discarded and the books have strange pacing...

The film sort of answers that question.... I imagine the same thing that happened to Emma in the movie would happen to Olive, but I think it's very unlikely that anything would happen to make Olive sink underwater. It would be like trying to sink a helium balloon; instead of bursting, it would fly away from the water. I see Olive as a balloon; I don't know exactly how her body works since she weighs -30 kilos.
