@ladypfenix let's meet in the middle with my favorite Bingqiu sleeping position headcanon: Shen Qingqiu cradles Luo Binghe's head to his chest in his sleep, with all of Luo Binghe's sleeper-build weight on top of him. This accomplishes a few things, e.g.,

Binghe gets held with the reassurance that Shen Qingqiu's alive

Shen Qingqiu has to wake Binghe if he needs to get up before him

Luo Binghe can get up without bothering Shen Qingqiu too much to make him breakfast before the sun has even risen

Its a win-win, and it soothes both of their issues wonderfully

In my gentle opinion, if one wants to stick Binghe on a martial-focused peak, it shouldn't be Bai Zhan.

Completely aside from that I don't think Binghe has the personality or desire to scale Bai Zhan and learn by being beaten up (he's been beaten up enough in his life, hasn't he?), there's ALSO that bit in the Airplane extras when Shang Qinghua says it's "natural" that the Bai Zhai disciples are going out of their way to beat up Binghe. So he'd reasonably be bullied/beaten up even more if he was a Bai Zhan disciple.

Wan Jian is right there!

Sure, they're clearly the sword artificer peak for the whole sect, but that's by implication from the text - what Shen Qingqiu tells us explicitly about Wan Jian is that it has produced many excellent swordsmen. So reasonably Wan Jian is THE sword cultivator peak, and thus a martial-focused peak, even if you can have sword cultivators on Bai Zhan too (like Liu Qingge).

I think, on some level, that Shen Yuan is like enrichment for Airplane Bro's enclosure. I think Airplane Bro kind of fucking LOVES having this guy around. Like, I do think their relationship is nuanced, weird and full of contradictions and not always good for them, but I also think that some chaotic part of Shang Qinghua honestly likes having his #1 hater weirdo running around completely fucking up his world.

Shen Qingqiu, grabbing Shang Qinghua by the shoulders: "Why didn't anyone TELL ME that Binghe is GAY NOW?! I'm going to die because of MONSTER DICK?!?!?!"

Shang Qinghua: (internally, probably only half-consciously) "Incredible. Amazing. How did I live without you? You torture me with your bullshit. You complete me in every possible way. I think we might be soulmates and we should make out about it. I hate you. I love you. You mean nothing to me and everything to me. This isn't your story and you stole it from me.
