Ethan and Dawn were taking a stroll near Lake Acuity when a reporter caught them in the action! The usually cold ice queen of Sinnoh has now found herself incredibly embarrassed! What a shock! It seems like her Johtoian boyfriend is enjoying himself on flustering/praising her tho! 

I drew this as a late birthday present to myself around January! I’m still pretty proud of it tbh so I hope you enjoy!

May head canons? I know from back when I used to use Twitter you gave her the bracelet she got in the Manaphy movie but I'd love to learn more about your version of May

I think I did talk to her about before but I’ll add some new stuff

Being the gym leader’s daughter means that May actually has ever dated anyone before Brendan cause her dad always scared any guys off. The reason why Brendan was never scared off is cause he actually trusts the kid but he does playfully threaten him if he ever hurts May (which he knows Brendan will never do)

She loves kpop

She loves chocolate anything. Chocolate cake, chocolate ice cream, etc. 

she has light freckles on her shoulders! Also on her face but sometimes I forget to draw them

She wears really baggy tshirts and shorts to sleep.

She’s specifically a waffles person. She hates pancakes (thinks it’s boring). 

Shes a big fan of stuff like Jewelpet or LPS. Anything that has tiny animals in it she would love.

She’s an ocean girl she loves water type pokemon. She wanted to be a mermaid when she was very young.

She’s a scrapbooking person

also I really liked the Manaphy movie so I fully intend on making at least a Manaphy adventure real and replace any and all Ash elements

Rosa and Nate definitely. Rosa’s whole schtick is being an actress. Nate would do some acting as well in the sorta similar vein as Tom Holland as Spiderman.

Serena dabbled in acting but didn’t really like it.

Harmony wants to get into the movie business really bad either cause she wants to be a screenwriter or wants to be a actress (both) that’s why she travels to Lumiose to begin with and in the end she writes a famous book about her adventures that gets turned into a movie :D

Lucas, after his research gets big, would be invited to do a voiceover on a hisui documentary and after that he would be invited to do more documentary voiceovers

Hilbert, outside of his job in the Interpol, writes screenplays under the pen name Blake Blanche in which Rosa personally produces (and always stars in). Before the plasma shit tho he was a theater kid.

Hilda would be a celebrity guest star in a TV show but her stuff is more being a influencer

Ethan is canonically either an actor or a producer or influencer according to fucking Pokopia of all things.

their favorite camping spot I wanna say it’s near the waterfall where May’s secret base is like they set up camp there and watch old movies on a projector and shit or like I could see them camping out in the flower field of the League and stargazing

Also I want to say Oak cause he’s old (tm) but I think Juniper’s dad would be scammed

If you mind me asking why don’t you like Juliana and Florian?

Honestly I feel like the two of them were designed as self inserts first and as characters in a world second, which cause of that I don’t really feel as motivated to learn more about them or come up with stories or ideas.

I get what their intended role is which is why I don’t hate on them too much but I actually like the role they play in Nemona’s and Kieran’s arcs. Nemona reminds me a lot of like some upperclass-men friends I used to have in high school who showed me new things or when I tutor people and they ask me about my keychains and I introduce them through precure or whatever. It’s like I understand the role the character is supposed to have as her rival (introducing her to her hyperfixation) but I’m not really interested in Juliana further than that.

I actually like that pokemon keeps pushing Juliana and Nemona as the main canon cause of the parallels to Red and Blue but that’s really it. With other protagonists I find myself questioning “what kind of music would they listen to” or “what would they wear outside of their adventure outfit” and hundreds of other things and make up answers for them but I don’t really have that level of dedication/energy with Juliana and Florian they just… exist to me.

And I sorta learned that’s ok(?)

In a way I would much rather let someone who deeply cares about them take the microphone and come up with stuff than me making up stuff cause I feel mandatory to

Also for the record I don’t feel it’s the uniform that it’s the problem. Before customization, other protags were stuck to one outfit and even after customization like Harmony and PLA Dawn had such good designs I never felt the obligation to customize out of them. (Except Harmony’s hat) (Naveen what were you cooking bro) and hell Serena, Calem, Elio, Selene, and even the galar protags were good designs with their base outfits and you could create different headcanons based off that alone.

yeah you can customize out of Juliana (which literally EVERY animated adaptation of SV does even the BiriBiri MV) but she’s still gonna have merch with her stitch head and I just don’t feel anything for her stitch head (sorry)

I’m more of a Cheren X Hilda or Nate X Hilda kinda person! Cheren/Hilda was one of my first ships getting into BW and even tho as a adult now I prefer Cheren/Bianca I still treasure Cheren/Hilda a lot and Hilda/Nate is my personal fave Hilda ship ^^
