Southlake Students were honored at Tuesday's City Council meeting for their outstanding achievements through music to promote our country's founding principles and U.S. Constitution. Gabriella Tommasi, Joshua Landgraf and Taylor Landgraf were inspired to enter the Constitution America's, "We The Future" contest and won! The purpose of the contest is to promote the three branches of government and checks and balances. Tommasi won for her song, "The Constitution is the Right Solution" and Joshua and Taylor Landgraf won for their submission, "Constitutional". The students were honored at Tuesday's City Council meeting and were presented with a Constituting America Proclamation by Mayor Laura Hill. See the rest of the proclamation below. Constituting America educates, engages, and empowers America's rising generation through their three cornerstone programs: interactive educational presentations to students of all ages, nationwide scholarship contests
Congratulations to these talented young leaders! And thank you to Southlake Mayor Laura Hill & the Southlake City Council!
