i’m thinking i might archive this blog and move carol. i’m a little undecided because i’m sentimental and i’ve had this blog for over 4 years now and all, but at the same time, i just feel somewhat overwhelmed every time i come on here and it puts me off. and i really miss writing carol and don’t want to feel that way. what do y’all think?

          daryl had never seen his brother speechless.  yet the entire time carol was there, he hadn’t said much of anything.  and merle’s voice was pretty hard to miss.  brows knit together for a moment, before she decides to shrug it off.  ❛ he try t’hit on you ? ❜  wouldn’t surprise him.  merle seemed to hit on a lot of women over the years.  but carol was someone that, to daryl anyway, was off limits.  and he’d definitely have a word or two to give merle if that were the case.

          there was actually a slight smile that pulled to her lips at his question, before eyes flickered downwards as she gave a shake of her head in response.  “ no. he hasn’t tried that yet. ”  in all honestly, she was sure that she had shocked his elder brother, by saying what she had, THREATENING what she had.  “ why,  daryl ?  would that bother you if he did ?  ”  she then questioned, as a way of avoiding sharing details of the actual conversation that her and merle had had, and well... she just liked teasing him. even with everything going on, there was still moments here and there in which they could do this, right?

          ❛ what was that about ? ❜  he’d seen her, talking to his brother all secretive.  he wondered what the hell carol could have to talk to merle about.  no one here really liked his brother, of course he understands why.  but he  does  wish they’d give him a chance.  since the start it had only been him and merle, and he couldn’t just give him up.  merle may be an asshole, but he was blood, and daryl needed him whether he wanted to or not.

          “ i was just having a word with your brother. ”  honest answer, and she didn’t really have any reason to lie about it to him either.  while she knew that daryl loved his brother, that he was loyal to his brother, she didn’t want to see him fall back from all of the progress he had made. she didn’t want merle to be that same influence on him again, she wouldn’t let him.  “ well, that and i took him some food. figured he’d be hungry. ”
