i just wanted to come by here and give everyone a hug. i just heard about scott wilson and honestly i don’t even know what to say except for he was a wonderful and amazing actor and person.

        As he looked at her from across the table, the whole room lit up only by the little fire burning in the corner, everything felt so NORMAL again — almost like she’d never left.

        To Daryl it was ridiculous ; all these people, pretend doing everything was ALRIGHT. He understood she needed time for herself, but perhaps if he was there, too … he began to chew on his lip, staring down at the empty plate in front of him.

          Had anyone else showed up at her new little place, she would have told them to leave --- there definitely would have been a much slimmer chance of her inviting them in and making them food, but with it being Daryl? Someone she trusted, someone who really knew her... She wouldn’t have been able to turn him away even if she had wanted to.

          Breath passed lips slowly when he questioned her on whether she wanted to go back to The Kingdom. She didn’t want to be at The Kingdom, at Alexandria, or anywhere else where there were people who would be depending on her. It wasn’t that she didn’t care about or love the people there, but she couldn’t keep putting herself through what she had been. Couldn’t keep turning herself into a MONSTER by killing in order to save those people, couldn’t keep watching people DIE because she wasn’t doing anything.

          “ The reason why I left was to be alone, Daryl... ”  She told him, not wanting to lie, even though she knew her answer probably wasn’t one he wanted to hear.  “ I can’t be around people. Not if I want to keep some part of myself left. ”
