There are people out there who don’t treat their Pokemon as partners, but those people.. aren’t people. I can’t imagine putting any of my Pokemon in a situation they don’t want to be in. 😥

Miss Milly prefers to perform rather than battle, and if I didn’t respect her for it I would make a horrible trainer! Done and done!

Pokemon are capable of being sad? I figured with the amount of cartoon dogfighting they're subjected to they'd be like, desensitized to nuanced negativity.

Pokemon are capable of being sad! They’re highly intelligent creatures. As for the rest, I think that you might not have the most accurate thoughts on that. That’s okay! There might be a lot of learning opportunities for you going forward.

Pokemon aren’t subjected to anything they don’t want to be, and saying that they can’t make their own decisions on battling or otherwise is probably an insult to their intelligence.

I can't @ you for whatever reason, but the sleep on it post is in relation to the last two posts I made! One about the eerie cave noises, and one about my Pokemon being sad.

Both of them are pretty upsetting to think about in some way, but I don't have the brain power to address any of it at the moment. Hence sleeping on it. 😥
