Her almost frown disappeared when she heard he’d kill a hunter. Amie never heard that before and it just sounded so nice for someone to stand up for her kind. He’ must be a nice boy. A chortle escaped from her before she tried to cover it up with her hand so it wouldn’t make a dent in his confidence. ❛ Haha. Thanks a lot 4 that. It’ll make my life and others easier.    othello can’t help but laugh a little over the memory.

     “my dad had to fix a few wobbly tiles, but that was it really”

   admittedly, othello doesn’t know anything about the genetics of cats. he was thinking more….’white’, or ‘grey’. but he’ll pretend he can work with this. ‘chubby’ he can go off of at least.

   he hums in thought.

     “so…should we whistle, or something?”

   Null paused for a heartbeat, just staring, feeling rather stupid -- if artificial intelligence could even be stupid. Why hadn’t he thought of that? When his friend had said music, he’d taken it as literal singing.

  “Uh... Yeah, I g-guess that could work.” He dug through his database for a whistling sound. “Iii... dunno if I can whistle. Wait. No, nevermind. C-could you try it?”

Stopping in his tracks when he heard someone shout, Leon looked over to where the voice came from. “A merchant…?” he mumbled to himself, deciding to go over and take a look; maybe he’d find something he needed.

           “Good day, Miss. Looks like you sell quite the useful stuff,” he commented with a smile while looking at the items spread out on the table. “I could indeed use some medicine…”

    “Oh, that I do!” Her voice suddenly became booming, her grin wide as she swept her hand towards Leon. Then, her smile relaxed and she sat back in her seat. 

    “What kinda medicine? I have some for the sick... some for cuts and burns... All hand made and of great quality! I’m Val, by the way! Hope I can help ya today!” Still grinning, she offered a hand for the other to shake, all the while rummaging around for her medicines. She grabbed them with her free hand and pushed the tray to the front of her table.

“My world? Er... Err...” Valerie glanced from side to side. Was this guy alright? Then, after deciding not to think much of it, she grinned, leaning over her table. Maybe he was a foreigner! Excellent.

“Why, my good sir, this just so happens to be ... Hoomadoovooja! Are you not from around here? Then, take a look, my friend! I have wares unique to Hoomadoovooja right here!” She cast her hand across a bunch of antiques, which were of old and rare variety, for sure, but nothing too special: a few vases, jewelry, some fancy knives...

She chuckled softly, brushing a hand through her own hair. It was pretty luscious too. After all, it did reach all the way down to the back of her knees.

She nodded and crossed her arms.

      ❝ yeah, forreal. like, i personally love muscle on people, but like–          those body builders who you can see every lil vein? no thank ya. ❞

   “same here -- well, i’m not a people’s person, per se. but  i can tell     what people are thinking, n’ what they’re gonna do. most of the time.     i guess you need it for some jobs, huh?”

He rolled his eyes and held back a smile, shaking his head.

  “well, thanks. do i get a membership card?”

Shuddering at the thought of the body builders, he waved a hand in front of his face, as if trying to erase it from his memory.

  “apparently there’s something really attractive about bulgy as hell    veins. dunno what, but it must exist.”

     “well, cats kind of go out of their way to cause trouble anyway right? this one time my mom’s cat thought it’d be a good idea to hide out on the roof. we nearly put a hole through the tiles at one point. but anyways, what kind of cat are we looking for?”

   Null felt himself relax slightly. “On t-the roof? Sounds serious. I hope you got that shit repaired. But yeah... I’m not the biggest fan. But uh--” He pulled up what data he had on cats. “S-she’s An irish short hair... Kinda chubby. My... um... friend says she likes music.”

{ ☠ } “ Ah, not quite. I just like being on peaceful areas, that is all. ”  Candor in her tone, Death addressed his questioning, all with a gentle smile. She discreetly flickered her snow-colored parasol and opened it, covering herself from the falling leaves, since it seemed the human did not want to shoo her or himself off from the area.

He was a strange fellow…but he seemed to be quite charming. While she was the eternal soul-keeper, she did not know everything about the living souls. That part only happened when they died. Regardless, it was fun to know them before that time happened; it made things less dull for Alair.

“Do you? What a relief; I’m not the only one!” He breathed out a chuckle, content, watching as she opened her parasol. Truth be told, he’d never seen anyone use one of those old fashioned things. It was rather pretty in person, and he thought nothing of why she was using it.

However... something radiated from this woman, something that made what he liked to call his ‘potential radar’ go off. Still, it was almost definitely his imagination. Almost.

She seemed like a friendly woman, though, so he refused to let his superstition get in the way of a nice conversation. “Ah -- I’m Nadir. Pleasure to meet you, Alair. Do you live near here?”

The sound of Bo’s back cracking reverberated within her ears. Hm. Interesting. “Anywhere. Don’t have a destination in mind.” She had ridden to the end of the line on multiple occasions, in many cases getting kicked off because she had fallen asleep. Nami slipped a few quarters into the slot of the bus before following along behind Bo, situating herself in the window seat across from her. “What kinda dog is he?”

“Really? You do that often?” She leaned back into the cushion, propping one leg over the other and looking over at Nami. Bo knew she’d never have the patience to stay on a bus with people for so long; something about the tight squeeze in buses bothered her.

“Oh, he’s a mutt... He’s pretty, though -- has a nice coat. His name’s Shiloh.” A pause. “Mine’s Bo, by the way. Nice to meet you.”

❛ Yeah, I guess like tigers. ❜ It was an odd analogy but it was was good enough. It was a bit of a depressing topic for her though amie wanted to tell him more of the decline of witches in hopes that he doesn’t kill any other too. ❛ There’s also been some hunters 2 that kinda caused it. At least 5 people tried to kill me because I was a witch. Luckily, I reasoned my way out of it but i’m still scared that I won’t be able to get through the next one.  ❜

“Witch hunters... I can’t believe there are people like that! That’s screwed up!” Apollo didn’t have much regard for human life -- or, at least, not as much as he should’ve. But for some reason, witches had a different feel to him than dirty humans. Like they were different. Kinda-human, kinda-not. Like him. “I hope you get through the next one! If I ever see a witch-hunter, I’ll kill those effers! So they don’t kill you or any witches, yeah?”

Matilda didn’t really mind the prying. It was a pleasant conversation, something nice to pass the time with. Anymore, it felt almost hard to get a nice little talk going. 

        ❝ depends! i got a wide variety of reactions. some raaaan,            some tried to fight meee…and everythin’ in between, really!             the best reactions come from the ones who don’t expect much            from me. after all, i ain’t that tall or beefed up. ❞

He could only imagine the reactions while she described them, slowly shaking his head as they came.

            “Sometimes I wonder how beefed up people move. Like...              Wouldn’t all the muscle weigh you down? I can’t believe              some of them ran. That’s pretty wild.”

  violet eyes looked at the other, soften as she attempted to figure out what they meant by all of this . she was not from this area and was dropped there , similar to a baby bird that has fallen from it’s nest but with no mother to rescue it.  the teen gave a sharp sigh and looked around, seeing the area and if she was in any danger , as someone of her type would.   

   ‘ i am so truly sorry – ‘ she replied . ‘ but i have no idea what you are talking about ‘

    eyes widening in anticipation, rez watched the other teen, waiting for her response. when at last she looked his way again and spoke, he offered an uncertain smile and shifted his weight from foot to foot.

    “oh! um. that’s fine, i guess.” he scratched his head, wondering how else to ask about the whereabouts of his friend. “do you know where we are, at least?” he ventured.
