is anyone else like really sad about the dan vs revival scripts on their facebook? they state dan hasnt seen chris in years and chris is happily married with a kid and it just goes against everything dan vs the show set up. i cant imagine a world where dan would just accept losing touch with chris for YEARS and frankly i cant imagine chris doing it either. its so out of character and needlessly sad :[ also elise deleting dans contact info makes no sense when she canonically is fond of him and views him like a big kid. its just SO out of character and the scripts dont feel like the characters at all

Elise quitting her job as a secret agent is also wildly out of canon. If Mandel and Pearson wanted to change their characters so badly, they should have made Chris a stay-at-home dad and promoted Elise to be at the head of her agency.

exactly!!!!! i hate it so much, it makes NO sense. chris is the one who struggles with holding down a job, he would be a great stay at home dad (though i personally don't think he would want a child, i think he just wants dan. i guess either way he'd be a stay at home dad lmfao)
