While I fill my queue, here's something interesting/sad that I stumbled upon scrolling through archives of official Tokimemo sites.

The Tokimeki Memorial ONLINE website hosted fan sites when it was still up. Unfortunately, none of the pages seem to be archived. Based off the (machine-translated) descriptions, it seems that most of these sites are in-character diaries or class pages along with a few sites that exist to provide tips to other players. Really wish that I could see what some of these were but at least we have some remnant of what the TMO community was like.

VIDEOTOME HEARTBREAK is a lightweight stat raising dating sim for web, with a simple storylets chapter system and a fully functional calendar.

Designed to (hopefully) be fairly straightforward to write the story, as with the previous Videotome engines, but with a more rounded feature set.

From that day on, they met in the church everyday, and soon they fell deeply in love. This news soon was heard by the king, and he forbade the two to continue to meet each other. The prince was caught by one of the king’s guards; the king then told the prince if he wanted to be with the princess, he would have to travel to the far end of the world and return safely, to prove his love. The prince departed. Every day, the princess prayed in the church for his safe return. She believed he would be back.

The player is a new student at Habataki Academy, with memories of a boy who made a promise to her in a church many years ago…"

This is a fan-translated patch for the remastered version of Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 1st Love for the Nintendo Switch! It uses the translation from the DS version patch with newly translated images. You can get the patch from Discord here. There are patches for the remastered version of TMGS 2 and TMGS 4 in the works as well.
