Unfinished and Forevermore 💔
Conway's Creatures Creation/Craniums Creation Preservation was a fan made project that was to be creatively crafted along side Party Coffins/Clown Illustrations passion project 'Welcome Home'.
I dedicated an entire story line, many hours, and many Google documents to this fan-made project but I was the only one working on it. And for a while, I loved it.
Making characters with intricate personalities and stories. Having them experience all sorts of things. Good, joyous, mostly terrible, and it all!
I had your wonderful and joyous eyes watching and words pushing me forward! I had my friend hear all my terrible tales and secret ideas! For a moment, I fell back into passion with it. But I was the only one doing it.
It unfortunately started to feel like a chore. And after a while of not drawing anything related to Welcome Home, I realized I had another project I was sitting on that I really want to work on. Bring forward. But I unfortunately cannot have my cake and eat it too.
Maybe, though, just maybe.
Maybe I can find a way to take a picture of my cake before I swallow and savor each bite.
It won't be the same. The lighting might be off. I could have a shitty camera. But the idea, the essence, will still be there.
That, that is something I would like to try.
