Gamers, I'm 22 answers away from reaching my study's sample size target, want to help contribute with your answers to my survey on game studios workplace culture influence on their sales?
(Please scroll for the current research findings)
Hello gamers, I've shifted my study focus to gaming since it has become my passion for a few years. I'm researching game studios workplace influence on their games sales. I'm an academic and I conduct studies, some of them are qualitative and some are quantitative that require a sample size. My sample for the current study I'm conducting are gamers, and the platforms I thought can get my study more visiblity were reddit and gaming forums but my posts got banned everywhere I posted because surveys weren't allowed. The problem is, I can only reach to my sample online, and have to reach 300 answers minimum. I've reached 278 answers, almost close to 300!
Please, I'm begging you to contribute to my study and answer the survey and reblog so it can reach to a wider audience, and if you're interested, you can get a summary of the answers I got after submitting yours, some of them I found really interesting on gamers purchase bahvior towards ethical/unethical studios.
Don't forget to reblog and share to help me reach to more people please <3
Thank you so much and I really appreciate your participation!
Study Title: The Impact of Studio Culture and Leadership on Consumer Behavior in the Video Game Industry Purpose: This research examines how
Current research findings takeaways:
The data indicates that the overwhelming majority of respondents are willing to pay a premium for products from companies they deem ethically responsible.
A substantial majority of consumers in this survey have already demonstrated their willingness to take punitive action against unethical brands by boycotting them.
The high rates of both willingness to pay more and past boycotting suggest this consumer group views ethical concern not as a passive preference but as an active component of their purchasing identity.

Study Title: The Impact of Studio Culture and Leadership on Consumer Behavior in the Video Game Industry Purpose: This research examines how
Gamers of Tumblr, I'm on day 10 and I'm close to reaching my target sample size on my study on gamers' purchase behavior towards studios workplace culture.
My study is about gamers' purchase behavior (intention and decision) towards studios workplace culture. (In other words, do you care for studio's workplace culture (negative or positive) and how they treat their devs and employees, and does that impact your purchasing decision when it comes to their games?)
To date, I have collected 252 responses for my study. Based on the global gaming population of approximately 3 billion, a sample size of 385 is needed to achieve representativeness with a 95% confidence level and 5% margin of error. Initially, I felt discouraged when I reached only around 30 responses despite posting across multiple platforms. However, I am now more optimistic and confident that the gaming community is willing to contribute to this research. The responses I've received so far include fascinating insights in the open-ended questions, which are available to view after submitting your own response to the survey.
The survey is completly anonymous, does not collect any personal data (I'm using google forms) and takes approx 8 to 10 minutes and has questions about gaming behavior, studio familiarity, awareness of studio culture, brand perception, purchase intention and two open ended questions for subjective feedback because I value it a lot in my research (I find it the most interesting part because I get to know about gamer's feedback more in depth)
Thank you so much! I can't wait to post a follow up post to this one to update you on the key results and analysis!
