I was doing a bit of investigating about the names for the new RSA students, and while there is not a exact version of Minajael as an Arabic name, there is a girls Urdu/Arabic name that has a similar alternative spelling to his.
Minahil which means "Fountains" "Springs" "source of water" in Arabic.
Jasmine is also associated with this given her various scenes with water flowers and the fountain in her garden.
Additionally it can mean "Most beautiful flower of the heaven". And guess whose name is a flower.
The reason I think for the jael ending is to tie to Jasmine's name, or, its to give the name a masculine tone in Japanese.

As for the last name, I mean...Viper. Roseheart, Clover, Hunt, Diamond, Kingscholar..... we have some very on the nose last names for a number of the cast so Tealrajah shouldn't be as surprising as it seema to be.
I'm rather surprised by the reactions yo the dorm names as well, given the simplicity, and some arguments over the original NRC names when they came out too.
Both Rielle's and Minajael's dorms follow the same naming conventions as the NRCs with weirdness. Like we have Octavinelle and Heartslabyul, which are mash-up names in NRC. Neige's dorm is also French, and Alice's dorm follows the made up nonsense concepts of Wonderland.
I think the only two that im trying to understand are the lion king one and Sleeping beauty, and that's mostly because I feel like the land in question for the latter might have some hidden history. While the former I feel like it's like Savanaclaw, where its a break up of two words:
May i say that I love the fact that its the Princesses and the Heroines that are the statues that the RSA students look up to! Because its really nice to show that teen boys can see princesses as role models with a lot to share in how they handle things in life.
So yeah, just some thoughts.
