immortality angst is always so annoying when it's just "keqing dies uwu so angsty, the end", when it could be "ganyu chose to love and be with keqing while knowing it will hurt because she's worth it".

if it's not about ganyu's choice to open her heart, then it's the least interesting part of their relationship. initial clash of beliefs but eventually coming to understanding bc of shared passion and love for liyue is the main thing, and the identity of human x half-qilin and all it entails, such as their different perspectives. the way they mesh together. differing lifespans problem is inherently part of them, but it's reductive to only focus on this as if it makes an otherwise normal office yuri interesting. i think you either pay attention to the "boring" part, or you don't understand ganqing at all

this sentiment is exactly what i tried to portray in my last ganqing art! it's fine to acknowledge keqing's mortality, it can be important even, but if ur more interested in her being dead for angst than her actual character and everything she can achieve during her life... yikes! no thanks
