Hi, I recently discovered rsat7d and I'm a really big fan of Edda! I have a question about your halloween fic from last year. How come Arthur's parents aren't living together? It's specifically stated that Arthur is house sitting for his mom and there is no mention of his dad. Are they separated in that au?
Ok, I’ll be real with you anon. I think I had kinda completely forgotten about Uther while writing that fic, he was just not in my mental picture at the time. Call it the result of me writing it in a fairly short timeframe.
So, to answer your questions, he’s either dead or, as you said, divorced in that au.
…I think I’m leaning towards him being dead honestly.
With the first chapter of the marriage fic, here’s two sketches based on a scene from it. I might do more sketches later, but for the moment this was the scene that spoke to me the most artistically.

Edda’s tilting her head, and smiling at the carrot, saying ”I’m whatever you want me to be, so long as you’re willing to play nice”. With the word nice underlined.
A follow up sketch, showing Edda and two people behind her, a noblewoman and a commoner. Eddas mouth is pulled into a line, while the noblewoman is stifling a smile and letting out a small ”hm!”. There’s a thoughtbubble connected to the noblewoman, showing Arthur smiling in a similar pose as Edda in the sketch.
Just a silly little tripletts doodle comic, bcs I watched Jacob Gellers video about Pinocchio a while ago and was never able to get the tidbit about the og story having Pinocchio kill Jiminy cricket with a hammer out of my head.

Second part of the comic, this time with four panels in one image. The first shows Arthur looking down with a frown, a small speech bubble with three ellipsis beside his head as another speech bubble displays what Edda is saying out of frame. It reads: “-I really need to check another book because I think it brought up something similar and-“. The second panel shows Arthur suddenly leaning back, one hand grasped over his chest, the other held against his head as if he’s fainting. He’s letting out an “Ah!”, the letters scratched out over the panel in a transparent white. Third panel shows Edda jolting in surprise as Arthur falls to the floor beside her desk, an exclamation beside her head. The fourth panel shows her looking down at him in confusion, lifting her hand off her head, a question mark beside her face as Arthur exclaims: “That evil wizard!”.
Third part of the comic, this one a full page drawing with a small panel at the bottom left. It shows Arthur dramatically sprawled on the floor, one hand still held up with it’s back to his head. He’s yelling: “He’s cursed me from beyond the grave! The light! I can already see it! If only the love of my life-“. The small panel shows him glancing up with a serious expression, saying “-would take a break from her work.”
The final part of the comic, consisting of two panels. The first shows Arthur’s hand stretched up into the air and shaking, with Edda looking at it, hiding a smile behind the hand still holding a pen. Arthur is yelling “And save me with the kiss of life!” The second panel shows Edda turning her chair away from her desk, amused look on her face as she says “Ha! Alright big guy I’ll take a break.” Arthur, leaning up with one elbow on the floor doesn’t respond, but a speech bubble attached to him shows a happy face and an exclamation point.
It’s a slight tradition of mine to draw something for the fanfiction I post, so I’ve wanted to draw something for That’s where it starts for a while now, but kinda struggled with what exactly I could draw for such a short fic. In the end this is the idea that I landed on and have spent some time messing around with, since I got the urge to experiment a little with how I drew this one. The result is a bit different from my usual stuff, but I’m pretty happy about it!

He has a scruffy moustache and arm guards, plus an armless gamberson or buff coat with two vertical lines going from his shoulders to the bottom and dagged edges on the bottom and over the shoulders. Edda is dressed in a double breasted robe, with buttons on the arms as well.
The first image shows the first panel featuring Edda, frowning with her arms crossed, saying “What could you possibly offer me that I would want?”. The second panel shows Arthur letting out a confident huff.
The second image shows the third panel featuring Arthur smiling confidently, looking down at Edda though lidded eyes, while holding his chin, and saying “How does becoming the queen of Camelot sound?”. The fourth panel shows Arthur from behind looking at the spot where Edda once stood in surprise, uttering a small “wh-“. The final panel shows Arthur looking to the side and seeing Edda booking it away from him, prompting him to let out an insulted “hey!”.

Two sketch comics in mostly greyscale.
The first features Snow, Regina and Arthur from red shoes and the seven dwarfs, as well as my oc’s Edda (A pale chubby woman, with deep eyebags and dark hair), and Gustav (Skinny guy, pale skin, light hair, in a suit). They are in a superhero au, with Snow dressed in a modern fall coat and Regina dressed in a button up blouse, slacks and suit jacket with a mirror necklace and hoop earrings. Arthur is dressed in full plate armour, and Edda is dressed as Doctor Hyde, who’s put simply wearing a dark coat, respirator, goggles, top hat and a metal box on her back. The first panel shows Snow pointing at Arthur, Doctor Hyde, and Gustav in the background and yelling “Even those two probably have people who would miss them!”. Two arrows coming from the word ‘two’ are pointing at Doctor Hyde and Gustav, the former standing on all fours with her top hat eschew and trigger nozzle and cane on the floor, the latter laying face down in the family guy death pose, a rapier laying in his hand. Arthur is kneeling beside Doctor Hyde. The second panel shows Regina gritting her teeth and responding “you and your father have always been so soft.”
The second image features only Arthur and Doctor Hyde. She’s wearing a large double breasted coat, a turtleneck, gloves, a respirator, goggles and a tophat. Her hair is short and pulled up into a tuft behind her neck, save for her bangs, and she’s carrying a metal container on her back with a metal hose connected to a long trigger nozzle. She’d holding a cane in one of her hands, and all her dialogue is coloured red. The first panel has a darker background then the others and shows Doctor Hyde throwing her hands out and saying “OH SURE! I’M JUST A REGULAR KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOUR LIKE YOURSELF!”. The dialogue is not contained in a speech bubble, and simply appears over and around her. The second panel shows Arthur, unbothered and smiling, saying “Funny thing actually, you’re not the first to call me that today, a pretty doctor I was guarding called me just that earlier.” The final panel is a simplistic sketch of Doctor Hyde appearing as in shock, hands down at her side, pinprick pupils inexplicably visible in the goggles, saying “what.”
