Here’s my opinions on the Prime Assets as dinosaurs, because every single interest of mine eventually circles back to dinosaurs somehow.
Honestly? Deinocheirus mirificus. They’re large, semi-aquatic (tying back to geese) and have 8 inch long claws. They’re the largest ornithomimosaur to date. In addition, paleontologists widely agree that Deinocheirus had feathers. Dr. Futterman, though, I’m tempted to say he’d either be the same species, or perhaps he’d be an Anserimimus planinychus (the goose mimic).
Majungasaurus crenatissimus. It was a stocky, powerful predator with a short snout, a robust skull, and could get up to 20-26 feet. Due to their fossils, we have proof that Majungasaurus were cannibals.
Stygimoloch spinifer. Whether Stygimoloch is just a subadult Pachycephalosaurus or if it is its own separate Pachycephalosaurid is hotly debated. Personally, I don’t put much stock into the claims of Jack Horner, so, the Demon of the River Styx remains. We see him headbutt Reagents in game, so I think that’d be a neat little reference. Plus, the domed head and horns. They’re small, but mighty creatures. He would likely be a more diminutive specimen of Stygimoloch.
Who better to give the title of Tyrant King than the two despotic aristocrats? Tyrannosaurus rex fits them especially well. The largest scientifically recognized Tyrannosaurus rex specimen (Scotty) shows us that these beasts of yore were some of the very biggest in the game. In fact, Scotty weighed an estimated 19,555 pounds and measured 43 feet long. That’s a big bull. They’re also a very well known and recognizable dinosaur and have long been a cornerstone of American media.
For our dear Sister, I decided upon Sinocalliopteryx gigas, which is largely argued to be one of the best ambush predators of its time. Unique for a compsognathid, they’re the largest of their kind, and are distinguished from Huaxiagnathus, as well as other compsognathids, by its relatively long hands in relation to its arms. The arms and hindlimbs were also longer overall than in other compsognathids, a feature possibly related to its size.
